401  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 BTC Here we come! on: February 24, 2017, 02:41:05 AM
how do you even post this without setting a target date?  Huh
Grin if is a kind of joke as of now, because AFAIK most of the speculators are not yet looking up of bitcoin in $10000, unless there's a sudden skyrocket of bitcoin price.
402  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: (Problem) Link blockchain are not getting to my email on: February 24, 2017, 01:13:35 AM
hi xmaster, seemingly you are needing help and never been touching this site until then. anyway, i wanna assume if these things happened:
  • did you edit your email? or did you unify your email? if you edited your email, use that email you had edited to, or in case of unification, both of them should work properly.
  • did you type a wrong email? if yes, then that's why they could not send that email to you correctly.
  • did you remain your identifier? it is important to recover that.

btw no 29th this year. AFAIK blockchain is not gonna actively reveal your wallet to prevent the loss in case of hacking, hope you get it back.
403  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How can I spot Ponzi schemes? on: February 24, 2017, 01:05:53 AM
for cloud mining, in a nutshell, if they are offering referral bonus, it is a scam.

for PTC, http://www.scamdetector.info/scam-portrait.html has all the information, but in a nutshell, if the need of investing before cashing out, it is a ponzi.

for investment, if they are refusing to provide the source of income, like how they are to be used, they are likely a form of ponzi.
In summary, any services which are having improper income generation methods and trying to circulate existing member's money to attract new people should be concluded as ponzi. When are looking at their business model, we can make this conclusion.

Unfortunately ponzis are now coming backed by a known business concepts. Cloud mining must be a good example here.

As spotting obvious ponzi has become as an easy task for everyone, now abusers are coming with covered ponzi. We can realize their actual business only after certain period of time. I am not finding any working idea to identify them other than staying away from them for some time but watching them closely.
even ponzi is now easily revealed, it is still annoying. as you can see in this site, the referral spam is often popped out. as well, bitcoin bans referral spam but not the scam to prevent moderator abuse.

406  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1139.9 resistance broken, 1142.2 hit (Bitstamp) on: February 23, 2017, 10:09:28 AM
the low amount of shorting will be profitable, because there are a certain time of partial dropping, making shorters unlikely to die. however, this barrier is gonna be higher and ever breaking out, which means its price is increasing unstoppably.
407  Other / Off-topic / Re: BTC casino player cashes out with $250,000 on: February 23, 2017, 09:29:59 AM
that's 2597 times he is budgeting. for the multiplier, it is not a great one, because the jackpots could have been lower than 1 out of hundred thousands. unless he is betting with .001 or something each of the time, the prize is relatively low.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin follow the same path? on: February 23, 2017, 09:24:58 AM
since the bitcoin core would accept up to 2MB in the future, but no plans on further at all, including major amounts of transactions, it is very likely to result a transaction fees comparable to banks.
409  Economy / Speculation / Re: THE DUMP on: February 22, 2017, 10:36:19 AM
Added some more shorts.

BULL trend IS OVER. Mark my words.

Hehe.

410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Egad. 81,000 + Transactions Unconfirmed. Again. Ugh! on: February 22, 2017, 10:32:45 AM
i guess the big activity of laundering the fund, because the way to remove the trace is to make a lot of unrelated transaction. hope this is gonna be solved within a couple of days.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS BITCOIN WALLET APP REALLY RELIABLE? on: February 21, 2017, 08:25:17 AM
idk, dependent to their policy of regulation. like blockchain wallet, they are much better to protect your fund from monitoring yet could be lost easily, generally reliable. for somewhere in china, it is not even for non-chinese people due to its strict laws to prevent money laundering.
412  Economy / Lending / Re: ★ ★ ★ LENDING ► CONDORAS SERVICE ◄ ESCROW ★ ★ ★ on: February 20, 2017, 09:41:59 AM

414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stick to bitcoin on: February 16, 2017, 02:09:54 PM
i would never touch that LFC, for the explicit reason, they can regulate the transactions and your data can be revealed easily. chinese tried to harshly kick the terrorists out, one of the method is secretly revealing peoples' information.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria is Following Venezuela’s Bitcoin Trend on: February 15, 2017, 12:38:20 PM
Venezuela currently stands as one of the countries where Bitcoin has been embraced to a very large extent.

The world should expect a Bitcoin revolution out of the most populous black nation in the world.

A curve that is developing in Nigeria points in the same direction as what is happening in Venezuela, maybe to a lesser extent, though.

Link: http://www.valuewalk.com/2017/02/nigeria-following-venezuelas-bitcoin-trend/

Nigeria is following the footsteps of Venezuela and has started to be engage in bitcoin business. The Central Bank of Nigeria has seen merits on the use of bitcoin and is now conducting a study on it. With it people are encouraged to buy bitcoin since even the central banks itself has appreciated bitcoin. Sooner or later Nigeria and Venezuela will be one of the countries that has more people using bitcoin.

Nigeria is adopting Bitcoin but not in the same way as Venezuela. The two countries are driven into bitcoin by completely different reasons. While Venezuela is driven by an economic crisis followed by aggressive capital control measures implemented by the government in order to seize the people's wealth and to ensure that wealth doesn´t leave the country. In Venezuela, bitcoin acts much as an escape to a terrible and constant devaluation of the national currency while acting as a tool for international transactions as well.
In contrast, what we see in Nigeria is a completely different case. Although the adoption of Bitcoin has been driven mainly by Ponzi schemes and other HYIP schemes and scams, contrary to what happens in Venezuela, the Nigerian government seems to be pretty supportive and shows real interest in Bitcoin.
i think your point often means Venezuela has less fraudulent cases regarding bitcoin? Huh
i know that place is issuing a larger denominations of banknotes like 10000, and they decided to adopt bitcoin.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: February 12, 2017, 04:40:06 AM
In my opinion, the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin is that a payment can't be reversed once it is sent so you have to triple check the address to be sure it is correct.
the structure of an address is very complicated, which you cannot simply type a random combination to send bitcoins, which prevents sending anything to a wrong address. unless you are unable to use "copy and paste", it is unlikely a matter. for the new users, it surely is.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the japanese bitlicense, way worse than the NY version. on: February 12, 2017, 04:35:28 AM
bitcoin as a legal currency is a very awesome announcement, however, the Japanese bitlicense? i guess that kind of licence is a form of taxing, which are barely related to Mt. Gox because the transaction flow is unlikely to be tracked even for China. as well, how can they even control the bitcoin users? the location of the transaction can be made in the dark. this act might encourage people to use VPN to evade this licence.

Well that is quite the range in cost for a "license", if it is only $300 instead of the high end I doubt this will be much of an issue but it will dampen growth of acceptance is most standard stores.

explicitly, and the price of bitcoin is ready to skyrocket.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New casino vs old and trusted one on: February 12, 2017, 04:29:01 AM
new can be very popular in a short period if they feature a certain kind of games and/or function. old can be like new if they renovate it, but often abandoned if they are unpopular and/or awful operation management. trusted one is much better, it remains dependent of their stuffs.

in a nutshell, house edge and its fairness matters the gambling site.
419  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: anyone who know "cointelegraph.com" on: February 11, 2017, 04:28:48 AM
ignoring the misleading articles from scams, they are very great on their own art, and the review.
i don't know what exactly happened on cointelegraph so far as not been tracking on.
