401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTS] 2 litecoin for 0.0112 bitcoin or best offer. on: May 10, 2015, 01:07:05 AM
Nevermind, I found someone to trade with right now. Sorry.  Lips sealed

You chose escrow (you pay any fees), I'll be back to check offers when my litecoin wallet finishes it's sync (3 weeks behind). No escrow, no deal.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 04, 2015, 03:35:12 AM
I'm confident that there will always be miners. Regardless of reward/fees. Why? Look at torrents. There's always seeders if what you're looking for is popular enough. And I'm pretty sure bitcoin will remain very popular.
404  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 29, 2015, 04:18:47 AM
Alright guys, here's the deal. I need the price to stay this low undervalued, actually for a week. Let's hold off the massive green candles until after the fifth, OK?
405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 26, 2015, 05:30:10 AM
I lent out some of my bitcoins in bitbond. Now that the price is going down, I could get more bitcoins because the payment (in bitcoin) is calculated in USD. I dont know if this is a continuation of the year-long downtrend since the ATH. I still have faith in this new technology, and I believe despite- no, because of all the bitcoin-like services (altcoins), that this thing will thrive. I think of it like social media. There are tons of websites, all with their own charm, but there will always be one giant that rakes hard cash (millions, possibly). Bitcoin will be that giant for at least my lifetime, I believe.

Having said that, I'm kind of glad the price went down.

It would have cost you millions...computers back then were about as powerful  a graphing calculator.

Early 20th century calculators are the bases for computers, right?

It's like how did people even live in a world without computer anime?

They lived, but their lives were hollow caricatures of what you and I call "life".
408  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Trading: Price Analysis For 4/15 on: April 17, 2015, 05:22:30 AM
I'd say sometime late this year. Maybe next year, I think we'll stay between $200 and $400 for this year.

Over $1000? Or $10... Ether way, it's use will be much more widespread, and that's what I'd love to see.

Hey, Bitcoiners!
The 80s called, they want their disruptive technology back!

ba dum chhh!

Wow, computers were really useless back then, comparatively speaking. I can hardly think about running all my games, storing all my files, etc. on that computer. I have over a terabyte worth of TV series, movies and anime. How much would it have cost me to get that kind of storage 25 years ago? I am excited about what technology will be able to do 25 years from now.

How widespread was computer usage 25 years ago? What about today? How widespread is bitcoin usage today? I'm confident it will be used worldwide. Hell, it already is, in small pockets.
411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 14, 2015, 01:30:15 AM
OK, now is when I think we'll see ether a continuation of the downtrend or a stabilization/reversion... based on the last year, I guess.

If you notice carefully, this has happened again (more than 1 time). Look closely at the Bitstamp chart. Funny how history repeats itself... Roll Eyes

Yeah, I think I've seen two of these such occasions.

wow, and entire year in the $200s? I'm not entirely sure how to feel about that.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 11, 2015, 04:00:13 AM

Let me remind everybody why we are all here:

... For no reason? I'm here because I like reading about bitecoin on the internets.
415  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 Halving: Could It Actually Kill BTC? on: April 11, 2015, 03:41:58 AM
I think that there will always be a market for bitcoin. It could be worth $200, $2000 or $2, (even $0.2) people will exchange goods and services for them. For that reason, I believe it has already succeeded as a currency. It may not be as widespread, stable, etc. as some of the big ones, but it is more successful than some. The fact it's still being used makes it more successful than some currencies.

By 2025, at least one small nation will be using bitcoin and little else as currency.

Does anyone else think that arrow image looks like a giant cock?

Nothing like a coin being up-front, I find that refreshing.

Please stay on-topic, this is neither the alt-coin forum, nor the place for jokes of any sort

Watch the fucking wall and tell us what you see ...

Damn ... they got some dumb '6 minute between post' rule for us reprobates. How we supposed to talk like that. I thought the internet had made progress with communicataion. Imagine if you had to wait 6 minutes between comments on the phone. Probably got the idea from the blockchain confo time  Cheesy

Don't wait, just create a new account every time you want to post.

I've seen it in action, it works!

I still remember that day NLC had her 8 accounts spamming this place, urgh.
417  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 06, 2015, 04:57:54 AM
I start feeling that I care less and less about the daily changes in bitcoin price... I feel as though it won't matter in two years, because my coins (well, my 1/6th of a coin) will be worth at least twice what I bought them at ($280-ish). Now, I'm watching the market with not a care in the world. I feel a bit liberated. Time will tell if I'm wrong.
418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2015, 03:48:37 AM
God damn it. Governments can't be trusted. Urgh. I'm so sick and tired of the shit they get away with. It's days like this when I wonder... Is ignorance bliss? I mean, am I really that less vulnerable by knowing what they can do?
419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2015, 03:37:29 AM
No mention of this d00d today?

Why? what's up with that d00d?
