401  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying Bitcoins. 1 Bitcoin - 400$. Payment - Venmo. on: October 08, 2015, 10:24:36 PM
I am not an American citizen , I have no bank account.

Only American citizens are allowed to have bank accounts. That's an international law. It must have slipped my mind, in Asia bank accounts don't exist.

-snip-

Hahaha. BCT never fails to crack me up with their images. Cheesy

I am interested in this but instead of Venmo i will prefer something like paypal or any other reversible payment method just let me know.

Is this sarcasm, or are you really looking to be scammed?
402  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: October 08, 2015, 10:10:17 PM
Tried to register on https://yobit.net/en/ but got an error saying that my gmail is not valid because it has a period (name.lastname@gmail.com) in it, tells me to use a "valid" email (namelastname@gmail.com)
What's up with that?

I believe that you can put namelastname@gmail.com and still have the emails sent to name.lastname@gmail.com. On the signup game, Gmail always states that it ignores periods.
403  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling domain name jobsinbitcoin.com on: October 08, 2015, 10:00:55 PM
That's unfortunate, I hadn't seen that to be quite honest.

It's probably worth maybe a bit more than the registration price, but definitely not worth anything near $750. Most domain names of this quality go for ~$50 maybe.
404  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy 1BTC today on: October 08, 2015, 09:58:16 PM
There was a guy here that sold for Paypal but held your BTCs for 7 days before releasing them. I don't know, I guess he would have waited until he withdrew the money to the bank account and then even if a buyer tried at charge back, this wasn't possible since there was no money in the PayPal account.

I don't know is the above possible but this was the only explanation to me why he held coins for 7 days. I don't know is he still active though?

It would probably suspend his PayPal account and force him to use VPNs/proxies/Tor to create new PayPal accounts, even if he had no money. I think it was probably just a misunderstand from his part that chargebacks could only happen from less than a week later. That's not true; it can happen from over months later, even 6 months+.
405  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin aliens owner is not honest on: October 08, 2015, 09:56:22 PM
there's one solution... boycott

It'll never work because of the massive wave of people who don't mind wasting their lives for <$0.01 a day. Don't believe me? Check out the Micro Earnings board; full of YoBit signatures and faucets.
406  Economy / Reputation / Re: please VOD on: October 08, 2015, 09:53:26 PM
If you "tagged" him on May 8, then he did not ask for a loan until June 9, doesn't that mean that he did go an entire month without asking for a "scammy loan"?

Yes, but he missed his other requirement; to interact with the forum in a positive way. Plus, it was probably a good thing because of those subsequent loans that he asked for.

If you want to join a signature campaign, I suggest you interact with the community in a positive way and build up trust that overrides my negative.
You want him to farm trust?

This is a tough question. I think Vod just means to prove to him that he is not worthy of the negative feedback, but most people will farm trust in order to do that.

I couldn't have done it if non-default-trust people were not leaving the appropriate feedback.  Keep it up everyone!  Smiley
Why do you classify people based on if they are on default-trust? Do you consider those who are not to be on default-trust to be some kind of second class citizen or somehow inferior to you?

Calm down. It's probably because DT feedbacks are on the "trusted feedback" list while non-DT feedbacks are on the "untrusted feedback" list.
407  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Possible scammer] idyu on: October 08, 2015, 09:45:50 PM
According to some threads that I have been reading , the idyu guy seems to be a serial scammer whose skype is miss.tyty , but the accusation was not strong enough for anyone to give negative trust and it was just abandoned as OP didn't put much effort in the accusation as well

read again your wrong

@op i have my reasons ehy i ONLY accept lbc (after i have read some users escrow for them self)

and about the scammer , if im a scammer why i did not scammed the 1 btc i bought from jakez? i paid via skrill cc chargeback is easy

please think before read

yes ok i insulted you it was not ok  but you should not post a feedback even neutral if you not know my reason of denying escrow here

That doesn't clear up why you mentioned that you'll simply create a new account. In my eyes, that was seriously suspicious.

Also, is this guy your alt? Roll Eyes

But like I said, I have 1 neutral trust on you vs. your 2 negative trusts on me. (I don't really mind them.) I will remove my neutral comment on your profile if I see you are having many successfully transactions and such.

And don't try and fake it.
408  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Possible scammer] idyu on: October 08, 2015, 06:50:48 PM
Here's a heads up to the community for a member, idyu.

I recently put a neutral trust rating on him because he was only excepting LBC escrow (archive) and seems pretty aggressive when I asked him about it on his thread. It was just a comment, though, so the trust rating was neutral and I was planning on removing it if he had a successful transaction anyways.

Shortly after, he sent me a PM asking me to remove the rating.

Can you explain me why you give me a fake neutral trust?

i did trade for over 1 btc here i am not a scammer

the reason i ONLY accept locabitcoins is very simple, when i saw some members doing escrow for themself ...

But il edit the topic and accept escrow like master-p or tomatocage

will you please remove this?!

Seemed polite and agreeable enough. However, the topic remained unchanged for a few hours (he was online for the period), so I sent him back a PM saying that I would not. Again, it was only a neutral.

However, he sent me a negative rating. Roll Eyes This is what he sent back.

you can kiss my ass Smiley

il just make a new account ^^

enjoy your red (even im not on dt)

As you can see, he seemed pretty suspicious in what he said. Why would there be a need to create a new account if he was legit?

So this is a quick warning to those that "idyu" (or whatever his future alts will be called) seems like a shady character.
409  Economy / Lending / Re: MonsterV Loan on: October 08, 2015, 03:16:19 PM

hello
I want to make thread here offers loans
Before I get started here are no special requirements for me to give you a loan ?

I am new here I was worried about breaking the rules because some time ago ( 2014 ) I violate the rules with another account ( sloppy ) , so I made this thread thanks ; )

You're a senior member; saying you're new is a bit of a stretch. No, there aren't any special requirements for offering loans.
410  Economy / Lending / Re: I need loans .015 on: October 07, 2015, 11:55:15 PM
I saw somebody who was buying -ve accounts for .01 BTC . Could cut your losses and start over just shy of your loan Cheesy

Those people are buying high ranked accounts for that amount, not a measly member account. The OP would maybe get 0.003BTC for that account?

Anyways, I think it's about time to close this thread. It's clear no one will fulfill this loan for you.
411  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What happened to the site cloudthink.io? on: October 07, 2015, 11:47:07 PM
Payout already stopped few days ago Sad

I believe it was a little more than a few days ago.

Someone should make a list of all of the cloudmining site scams, then we would just copy and paste this list as a response every time someone would even start talking about the cloudmining.

Maybe this would make people quit messing with cloudmining.

I'm not sure what positive effect that would have. People are naturally stupid and would just keep pursuing cloud mining stuff regardless of how many websites were busted as scams.
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you have any plans if Bitcoin goes up to 300$? on: October 07, 2015, 11:42:46 PM
Definitely worth waiting out the Gemini impact.
Personally don't plan on selling until it hits $15,000... even then it would have to be a downward trend.
Scarcity is our friend.

You'd better sit tight and wait for quite a long time then. I'm not being a pessimist (but rather being a realist), but bitcoin probably won't go that sky high for quite a few years. Who knows, bitcoin might have even been replaced by some other, overall "better" cryptocurrency before then.

As for the OP, who cares if bitcoin price rises by ~$50? There's plenty more room to improve. Smiley
413  Other / Meta / Re: "You must be this tall to ride" Threads on: October 07, 2015, 11:38:37 PM
I personally feel that that would be a neat feature to have, but not quite an essential one. Sure, it has its perks, but I doubt many people would use the feature in their threads.
414  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: October 07, 2015, 11:37:15 PM
I would sell my bitcoins if price reach to at 10k $, then with that money I have just to buy a cheap house  Grin
i would sell when the price is 1k ,it is avery high goal to become

Neither of those goals are going to be achieved in the near future. Bitcoin is still in the baby stages (I mean, the value is only about $240 atm) and has a lot of room to grow.
415  Other / Meta / Re: Replacing DefaultTrust on: October 07, 2015, 08:43:32 PM
already have effect, or just stayed proposal?

I'm sure that if the proposal had gone into effect then there would be no DT right now, and you would be voting for the users instead.
416  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are these kinds of ratings allowed? on: October 06, 2015, 11:18:43 PM
Mates, Yes this account is alt of my another account escrowboy. As i am interested to start escrow services so that i purchased an member account. So please tell me that on my profile "shield" (username in bitcointalk) URL: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=393981 given me untrust mark. Please let me know did i done any mistake here ??
I left neutral to your this account, but you used your alt to give me red.

As far as I know I gave wayayo and escrowboy red trust with the other account I have before. See he claimed that he is the one holds both of the account.

As QS said, the person's grammatical errors probably tripped you up.
Quote
please tell me that on my profile "shield" (username in bitcointalk) URL: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=393981
It should have been "...on my profile, comma, "shield" left me a neg rep."

Maybe that helped?
417  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] OPEN SPOTS Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: October 06, 2015, 10:52:09 PM
I received the funds that were marked as double spending just a second ago. Thanks for the payment and the response! Smiley
418  Economy / Services / Re: Will promote anything on my twitter. on: October 06, 2015, 10:50:13 PM
Instead of having to post the audit and all of that sort, just post the Twitter account itself. We can just do our own evaluations on it, and I don't think it's against the Twitter ToS to sell these services - so nothing bad will happen to it.
419  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello and Some Questions on: October 06, 2015, 09:49:52 PM
Hold, baby hodl!

And that is the best investment you can ever do with bitcoin. I have to make a QS reference here; his avatar sums it up. Smiley

Oh...wait...I just thought of another idea, gambling. You could double your money by gambling...or you could lose it all.

I hope that was sarcasm...? The house edge will always have the final word so gambling is a sure way to donate to the website. Smiley
420  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] S7 coupon on: October 06, 2015, 08:40:33 PM
Price is 0.09

You go first or escrow will be www.localbitcoins.com

 No exceptions!

I recommend for you to accept a forum escrow, at the very least. Forum trades should have forum escrows, not third party websites.

What's an S7 coupon? Is it a discount code? If so, how much does it discount? I may be interested.
