403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NovaCoin - Balthazar's PPC scrypt fork on: February 22, 2013, 02:31:00 AM
The coin hasn't been proven to be successful at all. Let's talk about its glorious success story in 6 or 12 months. If one can learn anything from dealing with cryptocoins lately, it sure is "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".

isnt*

who cares what is gonna happen in 6-12 months? You can profit from it now, in 6 months i bet there will be another alt to mine (if this is not alive) Wink
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NovaCoin - Balthazar's PPC scrypt fork on: February 22, 2013, 01:58:26 AM
How is novacoin innovative?

Copy LTC, copy broken PPC source,......and that equals "innovative"?

Novacoin is innovative in that it is the first altcoin to combine proof-of-stake with scrypt.

Any other dumb questions, Mr. Fresh Off The Cruise Ship?   Smiley

Litecoin is dropping like a brick.  It's gone below $0.07/LTC and there's little support to prevent it from falling to $0.01.

Maybe you shouldn't have traded all your silver for LTC?  Smooth move smoothy!!!   Grin

He thinks scrypt is LTC creation... plus has a contract for a higher price than what it is now, that alone is enough for him to bitch all the time
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: www.ltcasics.com is for sale on: February 22, 2013, 12:51:30 AM

This is all hosted through arvixe on a vps.  The cost of hosting is $40 per month.
http://www.arvixe.com/vps_virtual_private_servers_hosting

I am only charging what I have into it.  $200 usd

PM me with any questions you may have

The buyer would pay for the hosting at $52 a month

K goodluck
$200 is way too much then Smiley
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: www.ltcasics.com is for sale on: February 22, 2013, 12:08:49 AM
Las t chance if anyone is interested, I shut her down tonight or tomorrow morning. Let me know fast

$200 is way too much maybe if 1/4 of that might consider however i'll pass

its not much, consider that you get a whole server, everything working, plus the domain
EDIT: The server is paid, or the buyer should pay for it every month?

I was directed by the  sec to file a complaint here.  Feel free to do the same.

http://www.cftc.gov/ConsumerProtection/FileaTiporComplaint/index.htm

HAHAHAHAHA
I imagine your complaint like:

"A dude on the internet created a coin thats worth more atm than the coin that i have a ton of, please do something, please, please"

almost. They weren't sure if they could do anything about that. But they were very interested in the fact they are an unlicensed black market exchange, and breaking more than a few laws regarding international money laundering.

Well, then you will have 80% of the btc-e users bitch on you if something happens Wink Congrats, you made it! You are the man!  Huh
Be aware that for them now, you are a suspect too

411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LiteHosting.org LAUNCHED on: February 20, 2013, 11:11:30 PM
Just spoke with the developer. His only reason is because he can sell NVC...not because he believes it has a future. LOL!

Clever! CLEVER! and his only reason to accept btc is that he can sell them for usd... What you got IN your head? Strawberies?
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC difficulty dropping constantly on: February 20, 2013, 05:00:17 PM

413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Save any files to namecoin blockchain on: February 20, 2013, 11:52:06 AM
so this poses a potential threat to all currencies right? just as much as someone could 51% attack a chain with enough hashing power... anyone could also now bloat the blockchain with enough power / time and kill anyone with small HDD right and ruin the blockchain for that currency?

oh I hope that it doesnt work on other blockchains  Embarrassed
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [Pool] Coinotron - NEW !!! - NovaScam pool on: February 20, 2013, 11:33:44 AM
We are again under DDoS attack

Perhaps you might rethink about not beeing a smoothie fanboy

I don't even have any LTC Smiley but I see the work that has being put into it by various contributors, and that it's a cryptocurrency that is actively used.

Oh, and we need a rule banning smoothie clones.

yeah, much effort from various ppl ddosing, right

ddos and bitch more, that way ltc is gonna skyrocket!
