As i noticed it may be a real battle to become delegate, we shall use RobinHood to help some to rank on #101 : By becoming supporter of RobinHood, a delegate candidate will ask for some votes on him. He will have to give a bountie to robinhood, and robinhood will give it back to every voters who will vote on the supporter, as long as the bountie is not finished. Honestly, its ridiculous that people are blaming ICONOMi for what happened, to some folks, sending the coins may seem like an easy and straightforward solution, but I don't believe its the right thing to do when the dedicated blockchain is down.
Worst case scenario if ICONOMI chooses to migrate, my humble opinion is to do so with a "blockchain" that is robust and well established, i.e Counterparty which itself is built on the Bitcoin blockchain and has some of the most impressive and honest developers in the crypto community.

Your "two cents" is a true possible solution so success; and could indeed help much in this scenario. After a short examination of Counterparty it seems they have a great and perfect foundation for this. I have emailed that to Jani to be sure he sees it. Thank-you. Yes Counterparty is a viable solution when it comes to tokens and dividends. The only problem, it's on top of the Bitcoin blockchain... and a network of 4-5 transactions per second is simply doomed to disappear over time. The only network beside Ethereum would have been Lisk but it's not yet totally ready... |

i disagree, those investors put their money coz they believe the coin will be launched IN TIME they first promised it so its not their problem if those investors get mad or something because of the delays though this is because of the ETH network problems those investors? whom are you talking about? The greedy bounty hunters who didn't invest a cent in the ICO? The real investors are those who participated in the ICO only, and they are now considered as the co-founders. Where are they now? Patiently waiting for ICONOMI to make the right move. Even working behind the curtain to make sure ICONOMI will become a tremendous success. As for the rest (greedy bounty hunters, babycries and newbies who thought they would become the next Roger Ver overnight) no one cares about you. Actually please sell off your accounts and clear the way, your constant lamentations & useless trolls are seriously becoming annoying. |

Guys, I have just obtained information from people close to developers. The transfer reason not in ETH the POLONIEX and BITTREX exchanges don't want to place ICN at the exchanges. Because of specified in this message. They can't make under the law. Developers don't know how to solve this problem. Do you know that if you've invested in the ICO, you will receive tokens (or shares if you prefer) that will enable you to receive dividends on whatever profit ICONOMI will make with their investment funds? IF the token doesn't get listed (A BIG IF...), it absolutely doesn't matter since the co-founders will still receive their dividends. And IF (AGAIN A BIG IF...) the token doesn't get listed, ICONOMI like any other seed & investment funds company, will arrange an "exit strategy" for the investors & co-funders only. |

That's $35 and pretty much all the ETH I own. I just wanted to get it off of Polo and get ready to use it for gas to transfer ICN around. It also toke almost 8hrs for 1 ETH to reach my wallet yesterday... and like you the explorer (Etherscan) wouldn't show the txn... I guess it's normal... The network is still under heavy DDOS attack... thus extremely slow.... |

I'm struggling with downloading the blockchain (using Ethereum wallet) and only a few blocks left (I have the latest version yes) , If the Ethereum hard fork happens like stated above , should we re-download the blockchain or change the wallet ? or everything would be the same ?
Man you're persistent! A week ago you were downloading it already why don't you switch to parity or jaxx? I prefer using the official wallet (It's the case for every crypto currency out there) , I feel that my coins are more secure . Besides , I don't like secondary solutions. So , any idea If we should redownload after the hard fork ? I guess we will. There will be two hardfork: one to prevent DDos and the second to clean the bloated blockchain (eliminate empty blocks etc...) |
