I am curious if Max have some agreement with ICONOMI regarding voting with raised Lisk funds, besides the it will be hold long term.
Max clearly stated that he's acting as an escrow in behalf of Lisk only, nothing else. |

...what about charge disputes with the card? As it was already mentioned, it will be a VISA DEBIT card. Debit cards are almost impossible to chargeback... Valid point, debit card is not credit card, debit card can't chargeback, but credit card can chargeback. But debit cards can be credited. They might not call it 'chargeback', but the function does exist. When you cash-out on Circle.com, the funds are credited/sent to the debit cards associated bank account. Than try to chargeback with Circle.com and see what will happen.... With CREDIT cards, a financial institution such as VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX etc... will anticipate the funds, thus calling it a "CREDIT". You then pay back toward this "CREIDT" sometime later. Since the financial institution has anticipated the funds, they won't hesitate to execute a chargeback in their favour (not yours) since it's their money. But with a DEBIT card, no institution will back up your funds, thus no chargeback allowed. |
