401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 06, 2017, 08:04:34 PM
thats strange, I only received 0,31 GByte though the bot told me I should receive 4,3
Linked BB Adress still showing correct balance

If we are lucky the received amount is only the amount we get for holding bytes in our wallet, so we still need the distribution round...
but my gawd they are slow at distributing!
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 06, 2017, 08:03:20 PM
Anyone got their byteballs today? My wallet is not getting fatter Sad
Not sure what went wrong. Are they still distributing?
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR Integrated ⚡ No ICO 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 8th of 40 Rounds on: September 06, 2017, 11:41:02 AM
i now realize how hard crypto life here in china. its almost impractical to transact in crypto web with govt blocking access to most crypto sites. to those china-based members of deeponion community - i salute you all for perseverance and determination.

goodluck

can you not connect via VPN instead?? I think that is your only possible way of getting DeepOnion wallet up and running. Also check out my post about vpn for security issues

404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 06, 2017, 10:00:04 AM
Many news today.

1. We have our first cashback merchants:
Premiumize: Premium downloads, cloud torrents, and VPN.  They also accept payments in Bytes.
NODEshare: masternode as a service.  They also accept payments in Bytes and offer merchant match for large orders.
Other partners are at various stages, I'll announce them when launched.
Cashbacks will come from this address https://explorer.byteball.org/#TU3Q44S6H2WXTGQO6BZAGWFKKJCF7Q3W

2. We'll skip the October full moon.  We need more time to allow more merchants to join the cashback program and I want a larger share of the remaining undistributed coins to be used for acquiring new users.  Larger partners have large teams and need more time to make decisions and integrate.  The next distribution (after September 6) will be on the full moon of November (Nov 4, 2017), and the rules are the same as for September: +10% for Byte holders, 0.00625 GB/BTC for Bitcoin holders.

3. My long time partner Steve Safronov has joined our team and will take care of business development.  He was CEO in one of my previous businesses and helped to grow it manyfold and then sell.  His current focus will be helping solid real-world non-crypto projects raise funds through ICOs on Byteball platform, there are a number of projects already being prepared since August (still early stages).  He will be our 4th team member with committed time, he will be paid from the Community Fund, and I fully trust him to bring new business into Byteball.

great news. Did something go wrong with the september 6th distribution? It seems like no distribution was made yet??
405  Other / Meta / 2FA on bitcoin talk on: September 05, 2017, 06:50:47 PM
Any possibilites that you guys can enable 2FA on this forum? there is so much scam and cheat going on, that its kinda hard to keep up. I really think it would lift the quality of members on here
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you value Bitcoin ? on: September 05, 2017, 05:13:24 PM
You can compare it to the big mac index. I say that 1 big mac should cost 100 Satoshi. That would make sense to me and everyone else. Conclusion? The bitcoin is very low priced right now, so HODL and accumulate those coins.

if you plan to sell, let me know and I'll buy them from you.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: September 05, 2017, 12:19:13 PM
So many in here regrets not buying bitcoins when the price was low. Come on guys. Bitcoin is much more than wealth, it's freedom. It's the only thing that sets you free from the government
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Government Must be Winning! on: September 05, 2017, 12:12:45 PM
I really think that governments have gave up fighting Bitcoin. Maybe they are not embracing it and introducing it fully into system but modern governments in civilized countries will not declare Bitcoin illegal, not anymore. Believe me, this whole negative relation between government and Bitcoin will change soon.

Governments have not given up. They have not even started their war against the crypto community. Governments still thinks that crypto will never be big, so they neglect the impact it will have.
Once bitcoin and altcoin becomes mainstream in 2020, the governments will invest massively in fighting crypto, that is when the real war against us begins. So be prepared. Secure your coins. Prepare for raids and cops knocking on your door wanting your keys. Its gonna get crazy!
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 05, 2017, 06:43:42 AM
bloodbath? where? Bitcoin is still way up there. Altcoin is another story, that is pure blood. But again, it's just a correction. Down 20-25% is nothing. I'll relax up to 50% after that I might be a little nervous.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: September 04, 2017, 01:28:41 PM
I have no regrets. Bitcoin has made me a wiser man. I now know about all the fiat scams that the governments are trying to pull at us.

The price is not so important. What is important is that I have become free of the government
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: September 04, 2017, 10:39:35 AM
Explaining bitcoin and altcoins to children is very easy. Just dont make the mistake of telling them about blockchain/transactions/fees etc.
Just like fiat is being digitalized, children will only know about money/bitcoin through apps. If you have a wallet on your phone, and it says there is 3 coins, then they know that they have 3 coins. It's as simple as that.

They dont need to know the mechanism behind it to understand it.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP is the best crypto safe haven? on: September 03, 2017, 07:36:25 PM
ripple will never be the next gold. Ripple is just fiat on a blockchain. It's centralized, and they can issue as many new tokens as they want. It's by far the worst crypto currency out there, and I simply cannot understand the market cap of that altcoin.

It's the banks trying to beat bitcoin with their own l ittle invention. I rest my case!

jobs are temporary paused due to scammer going crazy doing the job. Someone from japan/korea/vietnam is submitting the same job several times which of course is not allowed.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: September 02, 2017, 07:19:09 PM
ONION blacklisted me for unknown reason. Many friends have experienced the same in the last week. I would highly recommend not to join this signature campaign (this is not an airdrop). It seems like DeepOnion takes advantage of the reach by all those people wearing signatures and then bans them right before the airdrop.

Well thats just not true. Stop trying to spread some FUD on DeepOnion please. It is a great coin, and all the rules are open for everybody to see. If by chance you did something

wrong then I am sure you can correct it. You can stop by the official forums https://deeponion.org/community/ and plead your case in the off chance you were banned incorrectly. But stop trying to bring down DeepOnion

the devs and community are working hard to make it a great coin!

A lot of friends got banned the last week and this week in this onion scam. All followed the rules during the week, nobody made one line posts or just spammed in the forum. All posts are legit and onion banned them without any reason. If you try to ask the dev oder the community mods, they just say that the decision is made and they cant do anything more now.

Its proofed that onion is just a scam project. Theyre just rolling the dice every friday and ban the people.

So people dont join this campaign, theyre not going to pay you. Even if you have legit posts at the end of week. They just want more coins for themselves

Well if you read the rules, you would know that legit posts is not enough to qualify for the deeponion airdrop. The rules clearly states that you can only sign up ONCE. So to all the scammers and cheaters out there, that buys bitcointalk profiles and signs them up for the DeepOnion airdrop, well you just got banned.

The DeepOnion campaign is a major success, and this attracts cheaters and scammers. Just know that the dev team will find out if you try to cheat. I saw so many people complain that they were kicked from the airdrop, and when I went into their post history on this forum, their account had been idle for 2 years, and then suddenly wakes up and is in the DeepOnion airdrop? WTF? That is cheating, and that is not allowed.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: September 02, 2017, 07:03:10 PM
I tried deeponion and they just blacklisted me

I am in the deeponion airdrop. Been participating since round 1. Now it's round 7 or  something like that. It's a great project, just make sure to follow the rules, and dont try to sign up with more accounts, as you will be banned eventually.
