If you are a smart, successful, skilled data scientist why would you use your skills here instead of getting hired by a company. On the other hand, if you are a young, inexperienced but smart person you might be able to show your chops here and elevate yourself. Especially folks in developing countries.
long coin on the bottom is the project not interesting? why so quiet? It is flying under the rador. This is not a hyped coin and will gain value as it proves it's worth.

I also believe that KOMODO has a bright future and that the team will release a lot of updates in 2018. The fully decentralized ICO platform is an incredible feature for scammer project.
You say it has a bright future for a scammer project, which is it?

It's not a scam, it's a solid but slow development. After 2 years still waiting for DAPPS, smart contracts, and ICOs to be used on lisk, but is already available in NEO which is younger and has a much smaller development team. It's a shame lisk missed the bull run in late 2017, neo is $150 compared with lisk $25
Do you think lisk will catch up with neo this year or at least reach 50% of neo?
Neo has 100 developers; many get confused because they state have 2 core developers, whom are more like project managers with many developers under them. Also NEO was being worked on a long time before it's ICO. Anyway I am a HODLER of both Lisk and NEO. Lisk has a great team and are opening an office to hold 100 employees in Berlin this year. Lisk has missed a few deadlines, but the appear to be on schedule with their Feb. SDK. Lisk could easily rise in value close to NEO some time this year.

First of all, you got this from bitcoin.com which is clearly fud to drop the price down. Secondly, after binance bitrex is second market for neo. Do you really think they would shot themselfs in foot and delist neo which brings ton of money in fees? Ok let's assume that bitrex will do that, what will happen? Price will drop for a moment to come back even bigger. Other exchanges will pick up volume and neo will be back on track. Neo is threat to ether, so in other words it's money making machine. If bitrex even considering this than they are just stupid and don't know how to do business. Please do not spread fud from bitcoin.com which is neat for bcash lovers and fudsters. I agree, there is no way Bittrex would delist NEO unless the government said it must.

I deleted my chain files because my wallet didn't sync anymore. I restarted and now it is showing 2 numbers. Does anyone know why? This is normal, when it is fully synced and you open your wallet all 3 numbers should be the same. Hi, yes, but why are there 3 numbers? I've only ever had 2 numbers. 1st - for wallet blockchain 2nd - for local blockchain 3rd - for network blockchain. I saw these after upgrading to a later wallet.

Hi guys,
I've mined Shift at the beginning and stored all my coin in Shift wallet v0.9.3/ Shift 0.4.0. How can I get my coin back? Please advice. Thank you very much.
If you missed the coinswap when SHIFT changed from ETHs fork (POW) to LISKs fork (DPOS) there is nothing that can be done. I forgot all about SHIFT because I did not mine anymore. However, I still have about 30k Shift in my old wallet. Now, it is just for fun. So sad Go PM if you want recover your SHIFT. I await your prompt reply. Whatever this guy is offering you it is 100% a scam. You've been warned. I know, seriously the guy as an Activity: 1, what a joke.

Why ther are nuch people talking negative about sia ? On twitter telegram etc i like the idee of the project
Because they are idiots that don't do research and probably bought Sia when it had a high price and got burned. If they don't back up their claims with facts, ignore them.

I am sure the fees along with such a convenience will not be cheap. Still this is useful for many.

Hi, I'm new in decred world, I have buy 2 decred on an exchange, anyone can explain me what is the PoS feature and the ticket?? Thanks!
Sure, More info: https://docs.decred.org/mining/proof-of-stake/ With the current ticket price of about 85 Decred you will need more DCR to stake currently. There is talk about allowing those with smaller amounts to pool there holdings but not currently.

How is the "china banning everything" thing to supposed to affect NEO and all these new ICO projects?
NEO has proven it has moved beyond China and to the world with its blockchain. The current correction may have been sparked by China and Korean FUD. But over the past 4 years, there has always been a crypto correction 3 weeks or so before lunar new year: https://diningmosaic.com/bitcoin-dip-lunar-new-year-good-thing/

Nice, and that is one of the reasons NEO is gaining a lot of attention these days. I am not sure if there will be an NEO:ETH flippening, but it looks a lot more possible now.

any speculation of the growth potential of neo....wanted to get it earlier, but was pretty sure that i was way toolate, but this sb keeps growing lol I still think i am way way too late for this train lol
ICO's are switching from Ethereum to NEO because NEO is seen as superior in many ways. It is clear NEO is going parabolic now, and may not stop until it gets near Ethereum levels. Sure I expect pull backs here and there, but NEO is finally getting the Ethereum like respect it deserves.

How can I import first gen wallet into the latest release? I remember hearing there were problems sometimes. I don't have a seed, just a key file.
If you have a .siakey file to load, the method is going either to the Terminal and typing the command "siac wallet load siag <path>" replacing path with the path of your key Can anyone report what the payout is for 1TB rented out for 1 month?
Sia is a competitive marketplace, so you decide your own pricing, but of course you will want to stay competitive to get more file contracts for your host. The Sia client of renters will assign you an score according to many factors, including your pricing (also the age of your host or how much remaining storage you have) and will pick up only the best scored hosts. As a suggestion, you can check this table "Top 100 hosts average settings" to get an idea of what competitive hosts are doing: https://www.siastats.info/hosts_network.html . To answer your question, they are asking right now for 50SC/TB/month on average less than USD$4.00 a month for 1TB ? Why would anyone do this ? Are you seriously asking that? I don't know... maybe because you can ROI 4TB disks in 5-6 months? The payout is right now very high in FIAT because after the recent pump in coin price the hosts are still adjusting the prices. Most probably the prices will stabilize in $2/TB or bellow. Still profitable: ROI in about 2 years looks bad, but NAS-grade disks are prepared to last 5 or more years and unlike mining in hosting there is no difficulty factor reducing your gains over time. So it can be a niche business. This, of course, if you fill your disks, because right now usage of the network is still growing. Not interesting at all, not sure why anyone would think otherwise. You need a computer running 24/24 + bandwidth + electricity + time configuring it + maintenance (tons of reasons why yo need to look after it). I wouldnt do it for twice that price. The likely hosters will be organizations that can scale large storage bays, not your average kid in their basement.

where do i hold etc to recieve airdrop coins?
For sure if you hold it in a wallet you control you will get them. I am sure some exchanges will support them, but since this news just broke I would give the exchanges a few weeks to announce their support. Bittrex usually supports such airdrops.
