I will offerBTC1.6

I'm aware this is below your starting bid, but I need to buy some extra things as a psu, connectors and a raspi in order to get this 10-pack running.

Misschien goed om je orderbevestiging hier te plaatsen, dit zal meer potentiële kopers aantrekken.
407  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- $499.95 Gridseed Blades for existing customers! on: April 11, 2014, 03:02:07 PM
Hey guys,

To continue to show our apprication to our existing customers. Anyone that bought a blade from us, before today's date, will get another one free Wink
That is interesting, but doesn't reward the earliest supporters. If someone bought a 10 pack at $1695 (which were $1999 at the beginning when I bought them), then paid $499 to upgrade to a blade, they're paying $2195 for 5.2 MH/s. You're saying if a later customer bought a blade (which weren't available to the earliest buyers) for $2999, they get one free. That's $1499 for 5.2 MH/s, when the earliest purchasers (like myself) ended up paying $2195.

I think their offer is very good already. They don't HAVE to offer an upgrade at all. They are a business after all, and want to make money. There has to be a cutting point somewhere, you can't expect upgrades without any extra cost forever.

They could also have just given a discount for buying a new unit, instead of a pretty cheap upgrade. An upgrade is even more difficult for them, since it creates loads of second hand 5-chip miners.
I can understand that, and do appreciate the upgrade option. It's just that their promise of "always rewarding those who trusted us first" doesn't add up.  This time it's those that bought a blade first, after we (early purchasers) already helped to make a name for GAW, give them support, and aid in GAW's ability to offer blade discounts to newer customers.

edit: And about having the extra USB stock: I think there will always be MORE customers for those than the blades.  More people would have $150 to buy the USB device than $2000-$3000.

To be honest I think the very early adopters should get an offer atleast just as attractive as later adopters.

I was one of the first to buy a hosted 10-package. Those packages went for $1999 at first.
If I upgrade to a blade I will have paid a total sum of $2498 for a 5200kh/s miner.

Customers who ordered 1-2 weeks later only had to pay $1695 and with the upgrade the total sum is $2194

This is a huge difference... $304 and I can assure you nobody could have mined that amount in 2 weeks time.

News about the Neptunes: https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-82

We've requested that all of our Group Buy's Neptunes be converted to Jupiters and shipped ASAP.  We need these hashes yesterday to hope to ROI.

You are right, we need the hashes rather sooner than later but with this change there are some questions...

What will be the effect in $$/btc regarding this change?

They won't ship these puppies with power suplies and even worse, they will use more kWh than the Neptunes is supposed to.

I"m in GB1 and in GB3.

For GB1 the hosting fee of the Neptune was included in the total hosting fee, will this stay the same?
For GB3 the hosting fee of the Neptune was to be paid once the unit arrived, will the hosting fee be the same?

Will you charge any additional fees because you need to buy the power supplies yourself?

410  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- New Pricing update! $136.95 Gridseed Miner, FREE HOSTING and POWER! on: April 07, 2014, 01:54:10 PM
The user UI is up and running for me too.

I like the ability to change pools and do a reset.

Could you alo include the other info from your earlier screenshot.

Accepted / Rejected / Error?

This is what I need to see if any of my pods are 'bad' and need a reset.

Thanks
411  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners - $20 off each miner! on: April 04, 2014, 07:56:08 AM
Why is GAW deleting so many posts?  I posted a question asking why the blades aren't listed on the website anymore and it was deleted.  Other people have had legitimate questions deleted.

I had a good experience with my order, but this sort of behavior is not acceptable in a vendor.

Sorry about that. Please don't take it personally.

While I can not go in to detail, there was a miscommunication at Gridseed with another vendor that caused an issue on the Blade announcements. I decided to play it safe and remove all promotions and post until the misunderstanding was resolved.

Its resolved, and the Blade is now here!

Is it perhaps possible to show the amount of blades still 'in stock' so when someone orders, they are sure to be in the first batch?

I remember your old shop had this feature as I was one of the first to order a hosted 10pack at the time you had 15 of these 'in stock'.

Thanks

Escrow? I'm not really sure how else to do it. I can send photos of our stock if that would help reassure you. I completely understand the need for proof. This industry is riddled with firms over promising and under delivering. I am confident that after one deal with Cognitive Capital LLC you will be comfortable with our claims. So, would pictures put minds at ease?

As a start I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of your stock of Cointerra miners.

EDIT: Oh I give up with the table- 15 mins of fiddling in the dark and still no table! Anyone know of an easy way to go from Excel to here and still have a table?  I've got to get on with "real" work now but I'm all ears on learning an easy way to display a table Smiley  Thanks!

Take a screenshot and post an image Smiley

Your math is probably right, profitability is marginal at the current rates. And the blade is not priced competitively, the "cupcakes" at $170 are <$0.5 per KH/s, the blade is more than that, unless it overclocks like crazy.

Same chips are used so you can do the math regarding OC'ing.

Personally I would have thought the blade would be a bit cheaper because the components used are costing significantly less than with the 'pods'.

Less heatsinks, less fans, less pcb, etc.

415  Local / Markt / Re: Dragon Miner 1Th/s miners te koop. Verzending 4 april on: April 02, 2014, 10:26:45 PM
JA, die chip is niet zo ok, er is nu wel 2de batch van..Iets beter,

Maar deze aanbieding gaat pas winst maken als bitc flink stijgt .en dan moet je wel morgen starten 100+ dagen en prijs naar de 700$ +
kijk maar even ;  http://www.vnbitcoin.org/bitcoincalculator.php

News on Hosting?
Finalizing the legal and VAT issues.
Price for SP10 will be 250$ for month or 600$ for 3 months - VAT on us in both cases.
We'll offer two months of free hosting for May (SP10) + August (SP30) bundle. The Bundle will be available soon.

Interested, would be great to do have the free-hosting feature on every machine.

When do you expect to have this deal on your website?

Is there already a member list? Would like to see myself registrered ;-)

Also note, it would be great if you also add a column in which you state the date on which a members started with your campaign.
This will give everyone an overview on when to request payment.

Cheers
its a good idea and I think others campaigns also can do this its some hard work for OP's but have some worth for all
It's done, check the OP.
If you find any mistakes, or can't see your name, let me know.

Thanks for the update.

Cheers

I've sent in a support ticket (#1862) about 13 hours ago because my hosted 10-package was offline.

Currently they are still offline, would be good to get an update on the status of my pods.

Cheers

EDIT: My pods are back up and hashing again. Thanks for the efforts getting them back, and a side note, they have an extra unit hashing for me in order to make up for lost time. What can one ask more from a company? Perhaps even faster respons? :-) but than again, people get spoiled quickly and perhaps I'm also one of them. For a BFL product one needed to wait alteast 2 weeks before you got any respons. Keep up the great work GAW.
