It's very simple. Don't focus on yourself but focus on others. Do you have some specific experience, skills, knowledge, something what can help others? If yes, share it in the forum, contribute and you don't have to worry about merits and your forum ranks 😁

UEFA has already made that decision. UEFA has actually shown that they don’t care at all about fair play or the interests of all clubs but only that the competition ends at all cost. I think we will have an irregular competition in which some clubs due to stricter rules in some countries about coronavirus will not even get a chance to play and may lose by lottery instead of on the field. It's a huge scandal.
I understand you frustration but how would you handle the situation? Let's say a team has to go into quarantine for two weeks and can't attend the match? So would you simply reschedule the match to a date two weeks later? What about other competitions either one of the teams is attending that are planned at the new date? Like matches in the league or a national cup? What if after two weeks the other team suffers from a Covid19 outbreak and has to go into quarantine? The calender for every club and the players is already so stuffed. If there are games that need to be moved, it can mess up the whole thing. (My solution: Let the coaches play a BO3 FIFA match to decide ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ) Sorry but I don't think you understand what the real problem is here. The problem is actually in the double standards of UEFA, because they obviously apply different rules and standards to big clubs compared to the rules they apply to small clubs. So that I don’t have to repeat everything now, read my previous post to understand what the real problem is with this decision: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5163249.msg55088896#msg55088896Do any of you seriously think that a situation can happen at all that a match of a big club like Real, Barcelona, Juve can't be played and the winner is decided by lottery? Even if such an opportunity arose, UEFA would do anything to solve such a dangerous situation for them, to avoid losing big money and for the match to be played at any cost and anywhere. Has everyone already forgotten how UEFA allowed Atletico to play the Champions League quarter-final match in Portugal? On the other hand, for small clubs like these two clubs from Kosovo or a club from Slovakia, these rules don't apply and no one in UEFA cares about them and their fate. UEFA will simply exclude small clubs from the competition or decide on the winner through a lottery, which is something they will never even try to practice with big clubs. For me, this is a classic example of UEFA's double standards and hypocrisy.

So, it is possible that UEFA will use a lottery to decide who won a match, which is a highly controversial decision. What do you think?
This is so old school. Before May 30, 1970, games were decided by drawing lots or by coin tossing. Only when Karl Wald invented the penalty shootout did it become fairer. The first big tournament was decided through penalty: The European Championship 1976 between CSSR and Germany. I don't believe that they are going to turn again to these rules. After all, there are a lot of money that hide behind the result of a match. It would be really unfair and will financially devastate the looser of the game.

Latest news say that Messi is close to staying again. I'm copying this from a Whatsapp group but Guillem Balague is the source: Are you ready for a twist in the #Messigate?
Yesterday @arevalo_martin in @presionalta explained that in a 90% Messi will stay at #FCB after the Jorge Messi/Bartomeu meeting. And that Messi will take a definite decision today @balague
Jorge Messi will talk to Leo today and they will both decide next steps. No point in guessing what happens next, don't you think? Messi has had time to imagine going abroad, the implications of a court case and now he will have to think what staying feels like Jorge Messi had been told in certain terms that City will try till the end, more determined than the rest of clubs interested. PSG have said they would try. Juve and Inter see it as an impossibility if court case and transfer fee are included
I'm sure he would have left if he could activate his clause, but this court battle is too much of a risk. He will probably go next year then because I can't see him signing a new contract after this. Two other official sources, Martin Arevalo, a journalist for TyC TV in Argentina, and journalist Marcelo Sottile, also from Argentina, confirm the news that Messi is staying in Barcelona. Sources: https://twitter.com/FOXSportsArg/status/1301284138029330434https://www.instagram.com/p/CEppG_QDjfC/?utm_source=ig_embedMessi is reportedly considering a plan to stay another year in Barcelona and then leave without any compensation ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

€1.5 million? Seriously? Yeah, he is 32 years old and his best time in past already, but 1.5 million for transfer is something ridiculous. He is still worth way more. Sevilla got still decent player almost without spending money. Rakitic was great in 2 first seasons, but then Barca had to sell him 1-2 years ago and get way more than got now. Interesting for what peanuts they will sell Suarez. Wouldn't be surprised if it will be about €10 millions.. It's still very good deal for Barcelona because they don't need to pay now his very high yearly salary and also Barcelona can get some bonus money from this transfer in the future. Barcelona have very serious finamcial problems and can't afford to have to many high paid players now.

I don't know if anyone is aware of that here, but UEFA has just made some very important and no so popular decisions about continuing the competition. Given that it has already been shown in several cases that some matches in European club competitions had to be postponed and even canceled completely, due to players infected with coronavirus, UEFA has made decisions on how to deal with these situations in the future. You can see all the new rules here: https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/mediaservices/mediareleases/news/0260-1043693afa4e-40877a739cf7-1000--uefa-executive-committee-approves-new-principles/The rules address various possible situations that may occur in the competition and the most controversial rule is the following: 3) if the match cannot be rescheduled, the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body will take a decision on the matter. The national association that is responsible for the match not taking place or not being played in full will be declared to have forfeited the match by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body unless the latter comes to the conclusion that both or none of the teams is/are responsible for the match not taking place or not being played in full, meaning the match cannot be declared as forfeited. If the match cannot be declared as forfeited, the outcome of the match will be decided by drawing of lots (i.e. win 1-0, loss 0-1 or draw 0-0) carried out by the UEFA administration; So, it is possible that UEFA will use a lottery to decide who won a match, which is a highly controversial decision. What do you think?

Do you? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Everything below is assuming you have the merit required and @theymos hasn't spoiled it to you. Me and a few more have this privilege to know when they will hit the Legendary rank. Legendary rank needs a random value from 775 to 1030 in activity status. Assuming a maximum of 14 activity every 2 weeks we can calculate: (Activity max-Activity min)/14=(1030-775)/14=18.2 resets. Since we can't have a decimal value for obvious reasons we get 19 chances to hit the rank up. 100/19=5.2% Only 5% of Legendary knows when they will rank up on the last reset ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Nothing more just writing my paranoia here. Yes, you are right! Soon, you will have celebration 😀 In fact, I'm sorry that you had to wait so long. With some luck, you could become legendary long time ago. Any way, I think it's safe to congratulate you in advance 😀

The captain is the last to leave the ship. But Messi, instead of forcing the management to make changes, simply leaves the team in a crisis. Great players don't do that. He'd better leave. And I think Barcelona will benefit from this.
I think that Messi did his best and helped Barcelona a lot in the past. I think he gave more to Barca than he received back. He is not married with them and have right to leave 😀 I feel that soon we will see great reunion between Messi and Pep 😆 Messi is a player of the same system. And this system was ideally created in Barcelona. He was lucky to get in at the right time. Barcelona had a golden generation of pupils. An excellent coach perfectly suited to the team. The second time this will not happen. Whether it will happens or not, he has the right to choose his future. Playing with weak teammates will not make him better. Dealing with a mess of dozen problems with the Barca useless board will not make the team better. Barca needs big change, in players and tactics. Without the necessary money, this will not be easy... Barcelona also needs to change their long term strategy, have to focus more on young players in the future. They need new people in the management, new president etc They should forget about Messi, sell him well and use money from him in smart way, for young and talented players. It's time for new Barcelona. 😀 Everything change in life and obviously now is time for Barcelona to change everything and start over.

I think the last season was an exception. Messi is no longer the outstanding player he once was. He still has great moments but he is no longer the great playmaker. The team is built for him. I think that is the problem. There were also problems last year. With a new start without Messi and with the new coach, Barcelona will stabilize and in two three years they will play for the CL win again. Until then I don't think they have a chance.
Without Messi and with a team where a lot of the current players are told to leave the club, I don't see them in a good spot for the upcoming years. Two or three years until they are competitive again in the Champions League? What if the officials at Barcelona don't have that much patience and are trying to force success with more expensive transfers? And what if these transfers flop like Coutinho, Dembele or Griezmann?! Barcas financial situation is already not the best and if they mess up this fresh start, Barcas could lose its shine over the next years. If Messi leaves, more players are going to leave Barcelona thats for sure. However, it is not necessarily bad. It is going to help build a new team and evolve the strategies and plays that the team had and all was Messi-centric. It is time for Barcelona to radically change. What must first change in Barcelona is their club policy, strategy, in fact the whole management. Changing players alone won’t help much if everything else stays the same. Barcelona needs new people with new ideas and strategies. They have to prepare for the era after Messi.

It seems to me that this latest news shows that Messi has definitely decided to leave Barcelona and will not change his decision: ''Lionel Messi hasn't turned up for PCR testing with the rest of the Barcelona squad on Sunday morning''Also Messi has already stated that he no longer wants to train with the rest of the team. Story is over. Source: https://www.marca.com/en/football/barcelona/2020/08/30/5f4b7253268e3eaf078b4576.htmlNow it is time for Messi and Barca to find a best solution for their love story after more than 2 decades. If the release price rule is expired and not applied in the last year of their contract, I don't think there are any club readily to spend huge transfer fund for Messi. $100 still be an expensive price after what some big clubs sponsored from Middle East corporations get troubles, Manchester City, PSG and with the global economy crisis because of COVID-19. $50 mil. or free transfer for Messi. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Barcelona should not prevent Messi from leaving, because it is useless to hold players who no longer want to stay. If Barcelona continues to force Messi to stayed, it will be detrimental to both parties. I agree that Messi's transfer value is very unreasonable in a pandemic like now. Barcelona shouldn't charge too much. At the beginning of any negotiation both sides have maximum demands but in the end they usually find themselves halfway there. In fact, there is unofficial information that the Barcelona management has been aware of Messi's decision for several weeks and that all this is a ''show for the public''. It is obvious that all this has gone too far and that the time has come to talk and find the best solution for all. It will probably be Messi's departure with appropriate compensation, but not the one that Barcelona is now asking for.

Hello, I came here not long ago and this is a great place full and extremely much information, but unfortunately it is quite poorly arranged. There are a few things I want to share and also ask.
I had difficulty finding the rules of the forum, it turned out that they are not official. The help menu is pointless, most of the features aren't even mentioned there at all, like Rules, Merit, Trust, feedback etc. You have to look for pinned posts here and there.
I encounter misunderstandings. If I have a question, I find a topic that does not fully answer my question and I decide to publish my point. I get a message that the topic is older than xx days and it is better to open a new topic. I open a new topic, people say that there are older topics on which I had to post my question. In the meantime, I have to wait a few minutes between searches.
People do not read the previous comments. Several people answer the same thing simply by using different words and expressions.
I don't mind the old look of the forum, I even like it, but the text formatting tools are awful.
Don't take this as criticism, rather as wondering how things can be so confusing, this is a 10 year old forum.
Mostly I can agree with you. It takes time to understand and comprehend everything on this forum but I see that you are on the right track ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) When it comes to old and new topics, it’s almost impossible to keep track of it all (there are so many different topics) and sometimes it’s easiest to open a new topic, at least that’s my experience. There are always people who complain about something and think that something could have been done better. Don't worry about it and if you have really good suggestions and ideas on how to improve this forum I suggest you contact the admin directly. Welcome to the forum!
