It is a very hot drama now in Catalan and the very likely lawsuit between Messi and Barca might occur too. The official contract shows Messi can leave before end of June but with the pandemic and the prolonged season, is the deadline expanded automatically? I don't know.

Messi made too much noise about his departure. And now he will not be able to leave. I think it will not come to trial. The amount of 200 million is more than enough for such a player.

I don't know if this a fake quote or not,
but I read a post about his statement, that said he is not Cristiano Ronaldo, and he can't win big matches alone.
if this is true, I think he is not comfortable with the current situation in Barcelona.

I agree with you, drama is not good for either of us, neither for the team nor for the player. Furthermore, change is always good.
Both to morale and to stimuli.

It happens with any key and legendary players. They have too big effects in their clubs but I agree that at the end of their career, their ambition and effects are negatively affect their clubs. Klopp always prioritise team-working and partially because his core tactic is gegenpressing that truly need team-working.

I can understand the cost at 700 million dollars when Messi was on his all time high form but now in his downside period, it is still at 700 million that sounds very unrealistic. Who can confirm that the cost is a fixed one or it is changed each year like his salary?

It is a clause in his contract. It is called minimum release clause and clubs from Spain are famous for it mostly. This is not that popular in other leagues or not popular at all, but in Spain it is almost a common thing for decades now.

This clause means that he can't be sold under 700 millions if the club does not want to do it. Legally.  Though there are other points in contracts that can be set as conditions and similar things that can affect the minimum release clause and such.

One cycle simply ended, for this reason happened these facts.
The team needs to rebuild everything from scratch to start a new cycle.

You’re totally right, Messi isn’t going to be around forever. They need to plan for times without him at some point. They may as well get some good money for him now so they can buy a replacement or two.

On a Croatian portal, I came across a very good analytical article about the Champions League with the title: ''The same rules do not apply to Barcelona and Kosovo. Does the Champions League make sense?''
For those who don’t understand what it’s all about, some clubs have already been kicked out of this year’s Champions League competition because some of their players have been infected with the kotonavirus.
We are talking about Slovan from Bratislava. Slovakia for example or Drita from Kosovo.
These are double standards because the Gibraltar authorities immediately banned the match between the Kosovo and domestic clubs, while the more liberal authorities from San Marino allowed another Kosovo club, Gjilan, with infected players to still play the match.
We know that the players of Atletico Madrid had a similar problem, but UEFA helped them and they could play in the quarterfinals of the Champions League in Portugal.
So, when big money and clubs are in the game, UEFA will do everything not to stop the ''football show'', but when it comes to small clubs, no one cares.
A great example of hypocrisy and double UEFA standards.
Can we already say that this year's competition of the European League and the Champions League is irregular, even unfair?

Truly, at sometime we were going have too take this challenge like Real Madrid do, so might as well now! We should be thinking about who takes over from Messi now, rely on messi is not forever. I know it's challenging, however should to do.

I think the last season was an exception. Messi is no longer the outstanding player he once was. He still has great moments but he is no longer the great playmaker. The team is built for him. I think that is the problem. There were also problems last year. With a new start without Messi and with the new coach, Barcelona will stabilize and in two three years they will play for the CL win again. Until then I don't think they have a chance.

Yes, he write in italian (and him said it) Fascia is italian word.
In any case it's not the groups but the bands, I don't know if you know how the combinations work.
For example, not all element of first band can go in same group. Precise rule for give best effort for fun of customers and fans.

Without Messi and with a team where a lot of the current players are told to leave the club, I don't see them in a good spot for the upcoming years. Two or three years until they are competitive again in the Champions League? What if the officials at Barcelona don't have that much patience and are trying to force success with more expensive transfers? And what if these transfers flop like Coutinho, Dembele or Griezmann?! Barcas financial situation is already not the best and if they mess up this fresh start, Barcas could lose its shine over the next years.
