4021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2017, 10:45:22 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
For those people who doesn't like the bitcon I can say that just ignore them if they say bad things to the bitcoin.
Many of them do not like bitcoin because they have not understood the benefits of bitcoin. I think do not be too indifferent, maybe it would be better if you give a little information for him. When he refuses, you can ignore them, I think it's okay to help

yah its very okay to help, theres nothing wrong with it, its actually good in fact. the reason why people are mostly answering that you should ignore them is because they think

you're wasting your time which is i actually sort of agreeing to. Some people are just too think-headed/close minded that even a fully justified idea is having a hard time passing

through their head. then again it depends on people. you can try correcting one of their reason why they hate it to test.
4022  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 19, 2017, 09:36:43 PM
it varies per person so it depends on you. people can give you more insight about this if you will include your plans, current jobs on bitcoin and your income on both sides in your

post. because to be blunt don't go quitting you full time job if you don't have any expected job online--in bitcoin, its as simple as that. Now regarding if you have plans in bitcoin

like freelancing using your skills, wait until it booms and be successful because risking a good life based on will happen and what ifs is just you digging your own grave.
4023  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: July 17, 2017, 08:43:18 PM
Hi, I am looking for a way to earn some money without invest(because I am broke), I can dedicate 2 hours a day in that. what can I do to make a bitcoin per month without any investment?

i think expecting to receive bigger income with just 2hrs a day is impossible. this is not possible beacause earning a bitcoin needs a lot of time and effort. In this line of business for you to achieve you goal you must contribute a lot of time and effort.
To produce 1 btc in 1 or 2 months, requires a lot of experience, other than that require capital, need to face a big risk. For now, I think the risk you get becomes 2x, because the current bitcoin condition will be fragmented, but hopefully it does not happen.
Precisely because of the current state of Bitcoin, it seems to me that collecting such a number of coins in a month or a week will already be very difficult. 1 Bitcoin or 2 Bitcoin is not the same as it was before. But I hope that this situation will change very soon.

It will become even harder to make 1-2 Bitcoins in a month or two. At some point will become near to impossible. The price doesn't stop increasing on long term, if you want to make BTC profit you need to do it fast. In few months Bitcoin will skyrocket and payrates for all tasks involving Bitcoin will be drastically reduced.

we still don't know if the price will rise in a few months considering that august first is like a judgement day. worst is hard fork is more likely to happen that the activation of

segwit right now but i hope its the other way around because if a split happens it'll fall drastically. but yeah if the price rises greatly the amount of bitcoin will decrease but i

believe the amount of dollars will  also increase if you've converted it. most signature campaigns here also decreased their pay rates however its surprising than i earn much

more now.
4024  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone knows the withdraw limits for the following exchanges? on: July 17, 2017, 07:42:58 PM
all exchanger open limit about withdraw
bittrex without level 2 verification only can withdraw 1 bitcoin/24 hour
poloniex without verfification level 2 sending document, only can withdraw 2000 dollar/24 hours

if exchanger without verification i think not open limnit, can withdraw you want
c-cex i think not limit withdraw

Polo is hard to get verified on as well. I sent verification docs weeks ago and still haven't been verified. Others have been in the queue for months (longest I'm aware of is 14-15 months). They also aren't responding to any support requests regarding verification.

Yeah, I've about given up on Polo verification. I haven't needed it since the 2k daily limit has been sufficient, but it is preventing me from making a more serious deposit there. I deposited a substantial amount when I opened in May, but two weeks ago withdrew all of it according to my limit when I realised they were never going to help me with verification and this is only for Level 2. Dread to think about Level 3.

15 months? By the time they get to my docs, it's likely they'll expire!

Thats the down side of poloniex most people are turned off about that. even though they have the largest volume their service is worst particularly their support. i guess the

others really pursued to get their account verified because of the volume however if this thing keeps up they might get overwhelmed by other exchanges particularly bittrex.

they got 3 tiers of account. the mid-tiers requirements are only name, birthday and address or even just phone number although its only 3 btc. you might wanna check this

out if youre interested on the enhanced acc with 100btc limit https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/215282838-Frequently-asked-questions-about-account-verification
4025  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: July 17, 2017, 06:17:32 PM
Which is the best way to promote products or refferal links? Social media and forums is total shit,no one interested in this.

Your observation has some really valid points. Although social media and forums can actually help you a lot, these are not everything when you want to promote products and referral links. I would suggest that you use trusted blogs and other sites in promoting those. It would be best to publish high quality articles in top blogs that are related to the product you are promoting. Videos are also very attractive and convincing.

Don't complicate this much. If the product or servicd related to bitcoins we need to promote that in this forum and child forums like Reddit and others. If it is commercial product need to market via tele media. To promote it you need to mention to products as well as the link to buy it or render it.

I don't know where did he got the observation and the valid points on that one liner post however in my opinion it is true that we can use blogs and other things as an additional

on advertising on forums and social media. and just to add most forums forbid the promotion of various referral links and when there is one its not that effective as it tends to be

spammy and fishy getting stacked up everyday. tele-media is a great platform but not everyone can afford it. if you think your product is enough to stand out facebook and

youtube paid advertisement might be the right call of course with forums too
4026  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: July 17, 2017, 05:35:50 PM
Seems the website is a stock web page currently?

The site loads normally on my part maybe the problem lies in yours. Have you cleared the cache and cookies? if it fails try using a proxy/vpn. if youre using google chrome

extensions are very convenient like ultrasurf. if the problem still persists, you should already contact their support team.
4027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When investment goes -100% on: July 17, 2017, 04:55:45 PM
So I'm actually facing this dilemma at the moment. I made three investments in three coins at poloniex.
Now all three of those are down more than 100% of the value that I bought them for, so I guess I got no options but to wait it out. It may take long time to get back to the value where I don't lose too much, but that is the only option I have.
Have you experienced anything similar in your tradings? How do you deal with such situations?

I've never been through the same situation, because it is so risky and your decision to bought altcoins proven, were wrong. If bitcoin price goes down, altcoins likely to decline as well such as what happened this week because bitcoin is the standard of all cryptocurrencies. And look at coinmarketcap.com when bitcoin seems on green side, then most coins follow it.

There's nothing to do but wait for altcoins price recover obviously as you just can make break even point, if those coins get back to what it has reached before. You may have to wait for months until it recover due to bitcoin is facing the same situation right now.

Yes most of the time altcoins follows bitcoins but not all the time i've seen it a few times where bitcoin is negative and the altcoins are postive or vice versa. at the time people

are saying that bitcoin has its price falling now so people are taking advantage of the alts, i dunno actually. but yeah for OP he has to wait until the coins met its uptrend. imo if

the split happens and bitcoins price falls drastically, it is also possible that people might go to altcoins causing its price to rise, well people are so much in panic right now and its

not even happening.
4028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you suggest a better way?? on: July 17, 2017, 03:11:35 PM
the uptrend for the market has come, in short theres been a great rise thus there will be a correction which is what we are experiencing right now, its normal yes.

However for the segwit it'll be no, it is the news about the potential split that affects the price negatively on the contrary if segwit got activated the price will rise.

Another no again, you will certainly lose you bitcoins if you will kept them on exchange if ever the split happens because you don't have control over those privete keys and we

still don't know which side will win. Better read this guides about this, just search for them.
4029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are all down, so how do traders make their earnings? on: July 17, 2017, 02:31:44 PM
For a while it's better not to trade because of the downtrend and return to trade in the real world, at now I also suffered a loss and was forced to hold a coin and see in august how segwit and hardfork later.
What I did now is I still trade but I only do one thing which is buying, I would only trade after the segwit this August 1 because I
am confident that the price will be normal again and I can easily make money from the cheap price of altcoins now.
Buying cheap coins would be suggested as of now. We should not limit our selves on not making a move since we can still able to make money buying from the dips and if you did bought on the price on yesterdays then for sure you are earning some profits as of now on doing short trades specially on bitcoin. It already starts to climb up again but we cant still be sure. August 1 is still approaching.

if they did not bought yesterday i'm sure there are many opportunities to come considering that people are panicking and switching to alts maybe over the potential split. but

yeah sure opportunity loss for those who did not. i think no it'll not start climbing up to break its personal best not until we're in this situation or worse than this, It is just the

usual situation where the price keeps going back and forth.
4030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does every single BTC exchange suck?! on: July 17, 2017, 12:50:33 PM
There are many exchanges that do have a poor service indeed as i have encountered some of them particularly on coinbase. however i noticed that exchanges with the biggest

volumes doesn't included, i suppose op haven't tried them yet. go for either poloniex or bittrex. for me what i mainly use is poloniex because they have the largest volumes and

they don't easily add coins although the downside is they are very strict on people who who have a large amount of withdrawal/deposit. and depends on your device the site may

be a little bit laggy for you. i tested it on my low-end laptop it laggs but not on my main which have mid-tier specs.
4031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: July 17, 2017, 11:04:04 AM
I guess that from the perspective of the randomness ... trading crypto currency is very close to gambling

Unpredictable?. Yes it does. Close related to gambling? apparently yes.. Cryptocurrency Trading is much more a like gambling because of being unpredictable and it also risks money. Unlike gambling you can choose to bet on the amount you can afford to lose, trading needs a lot of control as the OP say's, one of the major problem is to control your emotion also as stated. Overall it just need to be studied and try trading from smaller amount until you have guts to trade more money...

yah its unpredictable but aren't most things in this world also unpredictable? other trading like forex can get you closer by technical analysis overall its hard to predict, to

speculate while in altcoin trading its by observing the market, making strategies, being updated on the news and overall the same also applies. there is no any kind of trading

thats easy to predict lol. Thinking that you're not basing your decision on a whim, trading and gambling is not exactly the same and they're not very close either. in gambling, its

most about the luck but in trading most of the time its skills that counts.
4032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: July 17, 2017, 09:46:09 AM
When I click invest a screen appears asking for some details and I  have some questions, why you ask for the amount of dollar? The price of crypto is all over the place, why don’t you ask about the amount of BTC or ETH that is going to be invested instead? And why do you need a phone number at all?

whether they use the unit btc or usd because there'll be real time converter. basically the unit usd is more easy to use and understand as the price of cryptocurrencies are totally

changing so a stable currency is needed, if you read the whitepaper there are some conversions there like $1 = 1 token so it'll be unfair if they'd use the unit btc on this whether

the price falls or rise. e.g. A wants to buy 2 token which is 50K sats/piece so regardless if the price goes up or down the amount of the token you'll received is be fixed but if its

proportional to usd you can get more if the price rises.

as for the phone number, maybe they'll use it to verify that its you send a code or something or mmaybe send notifications. you can trust this team. yahoo vouched for them
4033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice please on what to do with my coin on: July 17, 2017, 08:18:59 AM
Why are people investing on bitcoin without even knowing the basic things about it? i'm not saying that you've made the wrong choice but you guys should be careful on what

you do with your money. make sure you know all the things about and going around with it. now going back to the topic. a downtrend is normal for bitcoin, for all

cryptocurrencies as well. isn't it too fishy if it was always rising. you lose if you sell early. if you're gonna go for long term much better, less risk and bigger profit.
4034  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of bitcoin before 1st August 2017 on: July 17, 2017, 07:14:11 AM
well its still possible it just depends on how worse things are after/if the split really happens although i'm with the other who have said no because its too low and the time frame

is too short. i guess if the split really happens price will fall and certainly the people will be confused causing the price to fall slowly. you guys shouldn't panic too much, seeing all

these threads about august first is enough for me to think that you guys are also confused and panicking. bitcoin has gained a great reputation among its users, they price will go

back although i really wish that we can avoid the split and go $3K at the end of the year.
4035  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: July 16, 2017, 07:05:55 PM
well most billionaires maintains their cash flow so they tend to be updated on whats happening particularly if its related to their source/s of income.

i'm sure if their source of income is technology related they must have been heard about bitcoin. and some of them have who've taken an interest invested i'm sure.

if you've searched for it you can see about  Mike Novogratz, bill gates etc. about investing on cyptos.
4036  Economy / Economics / Re: Probability of Bitcoin split on: July 16, 2017, 02:22:47 PM
Basically, the idea of Bitcoin splitting is one thing that will affect so many upcoming and already active ICOs negatively.
This will bring a drastic drop to the price of bitcoins.
Having too much bitcoins in your wallet but the value is nothing.
Again, how about Altcoins.Huh
How can you be very sure that the price will be falling hard? have you seen ETH splitting which makes the price of ETH is now thousands percent above the other one?.
There's still a chance for bitcoin to be either dumped or pumped hard but pretty curious what is your reason?

Actually, it has been shown that the value of bitcoin will decrease sharply when it is split, even, its value will continue to go down, ETH and ETC unlike bitcoin, they have a reason for ETC to be formed. Is a legitimate reason for the whole community.

It hasn't been shown as the split is not yet to happen we're still a few week to go however things are starting to change hinting the price decrease even though the potential split

is not yet to happen. as seen on coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#btc-percentage bitcoin dominance dropped to 49% and i'm afraid it'll continue.

lol so you think having BU to happen is just for fun and not a legitimate reason? i believe its a valid reason because its aim is for the good of bitcoin although it may take a long

time for bitcoin to go back to its price now.
4037  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plans for 1st august? on: July 16, 2017, 04:37:15 AM
I'm buying alts, any thing that looks like a scam coin I'm buying in bulk because as it turns out those coins are the ones pumping whenever Bitcoin price increases after a huge dump, now we're in the same huge dump and all the alts are dumping as well. I figured while people are manipulating every thing and then earn their millions profit, why wouldn't I do the same by riding a corner of this big wave? something good about alts is that we can point our miners to mine any of them any time we want unlike asic which we could only mine Bitcoin with them.

Well, good luck with that because you will either be scammed or be scammed basically, that is a very risky thing to do. instead of looking for a scam look alike, why not look for

undervalued coins? usually coins which have straight-like horizontal graph tends to rise high although some coins take years. well asics are specifically built for bitcoin however

you can also mine coinsas long as its under sha256.
4038  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN will BTC rise again and WHY? on: July 15, 2017, 05:00:47 PM
What people can give you now is a rough speculation because august first hasn't come yet. maybe when a result has been done we can then speculate again.

although i'm with those people who says that bitcoins price will continue to fall because of panic selling and switching to altcoins either permanently or

temporary. and if the split happens it can drastically falls maybe it'll take months or years to recover since ethereum takes 9 months to get back again.

but nothing to worry about because all of this is for the improvement of bitcoin.
4039  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: July 15, 2017, 04:04:31 AM
I think that teaching bitcoin to young children is not good. They must focus on study first than doing bitcoin. I think the best age to use bitcoin is within teenage. Bitcoin was a big help for teenagers like me because we need it to sustain our financial needs.
i think there is nothing wrong to teach bitcoin to young people but i think it is useless, because young people have nothing to do with bitcoin, because currently people are using bitcoin only for investment purpose and not for buying and selling purposes. therefore they need to wait tell bitcoin become so much familiar that all the local shops also start accepting bitcoin from their customers.

And I think that from early childhood it is necessary to teach children investment and understanding about finances. This is not taught at school or college. They teach you how to work for an employer and get paid. We need to show our children that there is another way, that the crypto currency can give financial freedom

Yah. i also think that we should't limit the young people just because they're young---obviously i'm talking about 15+ of age not children ages 4+, come on people.

i think if they'd showed interest on it you can say that they have something to do with it lol. And bitcoin is not only for investment. its a currency, a money, they are many ways

to spend it and to earn money with it. well its true that it might not be that widely accepted now but who knows in the future. bottomline is the knowledge about bitcoin or

cryptocurrencies is not really a loss it'll always be an advantage.
4040  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: July 14, 2017, 06:37:12 PM
I think these are 2 good choices, gold and bitcoin are 2 profitable investments but there is a difference, gold is suitable for long term while bitcoin for singular length.

maybe you're right because gold has an intrinsic value and bitcoin hasn't however i suggest that you should not really limit bitcoin as it has huge potentials.

remember the overused phrase here that if you bought lot of bitcoins when its priced a cents, you'll be a millionaire now, even if the price is $ 100-300 you'll still be.

i really believe until now that its not too late to buy now. well in the end its up to you where you will go. although its much better if you go both ways lol
