so Coinbase only works on the US domain? So what's good in making its app general to the public and some country? If only Americans cam benefited from it. Hopefully they can consider letting everybody join to it especially on those area that crypto is widely accepted. Coinbase requires a KYC /it used to take some time confirm your registration, idk how is now/ if you gonna withdraw but it's global, not only US. In order to receive your payment in fiat you have to register a bank account /you send a small amount to their bank account/ and you have to wait a few days to get it resisted/confirmed. After that you can use GDAX / now is Coinbase Pro/ to exchange your bitcoin in EUR/US without paying the fees /check some videos on youtube. Keep in mind that if you register from EU you can withdraw only in EUR, same if you are in US only in USD. Well, things change so quickly my info is relatively old /6 mounts or so/ so it's impossible to be sure of any thing but Death and Taxes. False statement, anyone can make a good post to earn merit and you don't need to be a Blockchain guru.
The key is that those posts should not be made whit the only purpose to get merit/money, this is where all of you fail.
I've said it 100000 times now, don't chase the merit. Just post as it never existed (same is valid for the sign. campaigns) if you have something to say which has not been said before, then it's worth to post, otherwise to you just piling up useless comments to reach your sig. campaign goal, and when someone check your post history, there you go, you actually are a shitposter, and it's only your fault.
So the merit has nothing to do with the constructive posts. See how many "constructive" threads for hundreds of useless subjects are flooding the forum and they still complaining why they don't get merit.
You can write 2 words and get 20 merit for it if they are the right words on the right thread, or you can write a novel and still no one will pay attention it.
So post only when you feel like to post not because you have the obligation to earn merit/money or reach some campaign goals.
Even better, stay away from the signature campaigns for a while and see how you gonna post if nobody is pushing you to do it.

People are starting to use that area to post scams, since you cannot see their trust ratings.
"Project Development" often involves coin changing hands, so people should be able to see who is not trustworthy.

You are doing it wrong, to hear your prayer you have to add "@theymos" in the subject. Tested twice, both times worked for me I asked some time ago why the Trust should be hidden at all, it does't matter if you are dealing with money or not. Like in B&H someone asks for help with recovering bitcoins from a old wallet, a scammer offers help and bang, newbies have no idea what will happen. Sure it's their problem but you have to know who you are dealing with before you accept help. I know, I know, never share your private keys/passwords with anyone, but have you seen a desperate newbie with a few bitcoins locked. |

I have just noticed a small bug. My current merit is 242 while BPIP shows 246. Since I was a Member when the merit system was introduced, I was given 10 merit at the beginning. Merit Received (232) is displayed correctly. Edit: After requesting an update of my profile, the current merit is correct. Any idea what might have caused that? Probably your profile was last parsed before you got your last 4 merit.
After you have manually updated your profile the was parsed and those missing were added to you total score.

Newbies actually can send PMs to anyone. There is an option where you can set the system for you to receive PMs from Newbies, if you care about them. Yeah, I know you can send PM's but you have a long cool down time in between the messages, it was like 2 or 3 per day, and other users have to enable to receive the newbie messages /:D/ manually, as they are off by default, but that's not the point. If I want to delete your comment for a specific reason, I have no option to leave a comment, like when the forum staff do it when they moderate threads.
I have to send you a PM, and if you are newbie you cannot send PMs etc.
I don't know if it's a lot of work but for sure it will be better for both sides to have an option to clarify why you are deleting the comment.
Often you write local rules on the self-moderated threads and if the posts don't fit there it's OK to delete them without further notice but sometimes more explanations are needed, and it can be a good option.
It can follow the same rules as the cool down time for the rank/activity to avoid eventual abuse. You can delete message but to leave a comment you have to wait so and so time.
I know theymos is busy but maybe it should be added to the "to do" list for the new software too.

I think this thread should be on a hidden board where common people have no access.
I suspect /not 100% sure/ that one of the ANNs I reported before has moved to a Games and Rounds / which is not so bad/ but still, a way to avoid deletion.
