4081  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex: the whorst support service! on: January 22, 2018, 04:36:00 AM
Hi!
all of us known who poloniex is one of the more performings exchange.
But what about their support services?
maybe the worst...
i have a withdraw in error since days..
but since now, no answer received from support centre.
take a look here.

They are definitely not the worst support. I think that by far obit has the worst support, you will simply never receive a response from them of value. At least with poloniex there is a chance that you get lucky and get a response from them.

For me, i sent them a request and 2 days later, they responded to it.

I wouldn't recommend spamming your ticket as it could potentially even lower your priority. Make sure that your category for your ticket is correct so that they don't have to bounce it around internally. Your title is also full of typos, it's supposed to be "burst withdrawal error" not "nurst whitedraw in error".

I agree though, they are one of the worst at support, and if you do get your withdrawal through, don't use them with large amounts again.
4082  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will bitcoin go? on: January 22, 2018, 12:16:12 AM
Price seems to have gone even lower today. Biggest reason i think is that people still don't know whether this pump is for real or just a bull trap. For me, it's just the start of a recovery and it's nothing special that we're seeing dumps along the way.

Main support level is still at $11k in my opinion. It's going to be hard in the short term for bears to dump their coins down under $11k. And when the price goes below that, people will buy up the cheap coins as soon as possible.

Vice versa, major resistance is at $13k. Once that is broken we can officially announce the new bull season.
4083  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Freewallet.org is a SCAM on: January 21, 2018, 11:08:33 PM
I have discovered to late I suppose the the website Freewallet.org is a SCAM!

I tried to deposit 2657 XEM to them and it never went through, but if I look at the txid that my exchange provided me it shows that it did go through, and if I look at my account through the explorer it shows that I made all of these transactions that I never in my life did! After further investigation I saw that they are trading my XEM and moving them around to different addresses, and I can't touch them! Then I had 200 LSK on their wallet and was able to withdraw 1 LSK but then when trying to withdraw the rest it says that its in process, but for what? I sent them a support ticket and so far no response. my 2005 STEEM is the same, just stuck in the wallet and not going anywhere, I can't touch it, I can't exchange it, I can't withdraw it. This website is a plain and simple SCAM please for anyone who is even thinking about using this website I understand that it looks tempting and that they can hold all these coins but the ugly reality is that they are scammers. There are more horror stories than mine and they all are much similar to mine, this website takes your money and talks to you once in a blue moon when you need there help only for them not to help you one bit. So please don't make the same mistake I did, I tried talking to them, sending countless support tickets and getting little to no responses back, DO NOT GO ON FREEWALLET.ORG THEY ARE A SCAM!

You'll have to contact freewallet about that. We can do nothing to help you.

I remember hearing back in the day that freewallet = minergate = bytecoin and all sorts of nonsense. So really their background is unclear. Since they don't provide you with your private key and they are a hosted wallet, you have no option but to contact their support in case something does go wrong with them.

In process usually means that they are either getting funds from cold storage, or reviewing the legitimacy of your transaction. The amounts involved aren't small so they probably want to double check that it's a legit withdrawal.
4084  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is momentum from bears is weakneing now as BTC breaks above 12K? on: January 21, 2018, 10:04:42 AM
Yeah, BTC breaks above 12K today, though I don't buy it when it' around 10K, I don't regret it since I'm not quite so sure if price has touched the real bottom, whnt do you think?

Also, today I brought an original analysis from a Chinese analyst Kuang Ren, you're free to leave your comments below:

BTC:
As you can see, lower end of the range is around $13,000, which seems difficult to be broken though we’ve seen an expansion in volumes.

Such wave of uptrend opens a window for us to dump chips after a sharp dip with expanding volumes.

Do Not chase high as we’ve seen no signs of weakening momentum from bears. Decision on further operation can be made when price re-tests the bottom.

Original by Kuang Ren, translated and posted by AICoin Jami. You can find the real-time price information and news here: https://www.aicoin.net.cn/chart/D331D4E2

I think that we're going to be dumped back to around $11k, which the real support will be revealed around there. Then we'll be bought up to around $13k and more and whether or not it keeps going up from that point will depend on news from the media about regulation of bitcoin from governments. That seems to be the single biggest influencer of bitcoin price at the moment, since the bans from governments have caused this dump basically.

If some governments decide to support the cause of bitcoin or issue their own crypto, markets can be easily hyped and in no time you'll see people saying bitcoin to $100k, 1 mil, etc. etc.

Just be careful trading, don't believe the FUD nor the hype. Make your own informed decisions, and you'll probably make a profit.
4085  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Selling a very high amount of BTC (100BTC) for Euro -- Where? on: January 21, 2018, 09:56:00 AM
Why not just talk to an exchange and see if they can facilitate this for you. Lots of exchanges have those big behind the scenes deals with clients so just do that and keep it off their main sell orders.bgood to go. Or just sell them all normally I guess. It's not that unrealistic for an exchange to see that amount of volume anyway.

Most exchanges these days will not offer you to talk to their big whales, because they do not know whether or not you are legit. But i know for a fact that Bitfinex does have OTC trading, and BTCChina when it was still one of the top trading exchanges for bitcoin were able to sell you or buy from you your bitcoins directly, since the KYC and AML requirements were low at the time.

But now, you're probably not going to be dealing with an exchange direct... If you're going to use an exchange, you're going to use an orderbook to place your order.

That's why i think if you talk to private traders with high volume, that can give you about market rate, it's going to be the best thing to do. If you dump all 100 BTC at a time you're probably going to take a haircut off market price anyways, and it's far more convenient than waiting for all your sell orders to execute and doing the papers.
4086  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC inching toward 12 K again. on: January 21, 2018, 09:30:21 AM
Who thinks that is the support level and we are about to rocket? Or is it a bull trap that is about to sink one last time before btc fires up?

We've went up to around $13k before going down a bit again. So for me it's clearly a sign of the bull market that is coming up. This pullback is only normal but the price is still up around 20% from the year low of $9500 or thereabouts.

There is still doubt within the market about whether this is going to be a legit pump or just a trap for bulls. And it's not that much of a dump anyways.

Seeing right now, i think it's safe to say that the support level is still at around $11k, up from $10k just a few days ago which is good news. The next pump should shift the support from $11k up to $12k, and the price may go up to $14k+.
4087  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Yobit Scam withholding 10BTC on: January 21, 2018, 08:33:49 AM
What happened:: When sending 10BTC to Yobit I made the error of sending it to a BCC (BitcoinCash address on Yobit) because I had "Hide Zero Balance" checked and I take responsibility that I made the original mistake, not Yobit.  However they have the ability to recover my BTC using private keys and I even offered to pay them 2 BTC for their time of my 10 BTC but they have not answered over 7 support tickets and totally ignored them.

Yes I made a mistake but that does not mean they can just profit from it and keep the BTC they should do the right thing and because they can simply recover the BTC which they no doubt have but are not giving any of it back to me that is the wrong thing to do, or in this case to not do.

Scammers Profile Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=406594

Amount Scammed: 10 BTC
Payment Method: BTC
Proof of Payment: They have the proof of payment in multiple support tickets, I am not going to link to it because someone else could claim they also sent it.
PM/Chat Logs: Many screenshots of every support ticket including in Russian.
Additional Notes: Do the right thing Yobit, yes I f^&ked up and it was my initial error but  you should not just steal my money by ignoring me.  At least pay me back 8 BTC as I offered.

I have sent a PM to Yobit here also with the TX ID as proof but they have not been on-line since the 13th of December.

The Moderators on Yobit chat are not helpful and all they say is "This is not a place for support" yet they could easily see that a support ticket is at least looked at I have more than 7 over them over the past 3 weeks but nothing, no reply or even auto-reply.

Thieves.

Yobit has no obligation of returning the money to you. Clearly it was you who sent the wrong coin to the wrong address, and they can easily claim that security of their entire site is more important than one customer's funds.

As much as we'd love you to receive back your funds, and as much as we believe so to be the fair resolution for you, it's ultimately up to yobit. They hold the coins in their wallet right now, you do not. If they don't agree, what can you do?

Plus yobit's garbage support isn't anything new. Especially for questions like these, even good support have a hard time to figure it out. You'll be lucky to even receive a response within a month from them, i'd say.

Buy this lesson, don't send coins to the wrong coin address again... It's costly to do.
4088  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex withdrawal limit of 0 - legacy account on: January 21, 2018, 08:26:26 AM
I just withdrew a little under my daily amount yesterday, so had a small amount that I would have been about to withdraw. I think it was $27 or so. Now that I went to see if it's reset, it's actually at 0.

Does anyone know what this means? I'd really rather not open a ticket and wait a few months to figure out how to get my money out. Maybe because the price of bitcoins went up overnight? Idk. This is really strange either way. Glad I've almost cleared out my account.

If your new year's resolution wasn't to get everything out of exchanges, it should be. Hold your own bitcoins in your own private keys. Only keep a balance on an exchange when you're exchanging.

For the future, I'd suggest a DEX such as NVO. Full disclosure, I'm an investor. This only makes me want to invest more into DEXs.

I had problems with withdrawal on poloniex last year as well and the problem was only solved recently. I'm not sure if it's just me but they actually replied to my ticket and resolved my problem within 2 days. Before that, i was just waiting like you for a miracle to happen.

Hopefully, it's got nothing to do with legacy accounts being limited to 0. I remember that they came out that announcement recently, but they said they will follow up with further announcements in January and give ample time before doing anything.

What you should do: Contact support first, then see if it's a technical glitch that fixes itself within a few days. Enable 2fa, stop using vpn when you're using poloniex, etc. if you haven't already.

Thankfully it's not a big amount it seems.
4089  Economy / Reputation / Re: Some people are continuously spreading rumours in the forum. on: January 21, 2018, 08:15:08 AM
He's posting in speculation mainly, and bitcoin discussions. And in most posts it seems like he's a bitcoin bear of the extreme kind, perhaps even a bitcoin hater altogether. However he's just expressing opinion and he's allowed to do that.

The news article that he quoted indeed exists, the legitimacy of which i'm not sure of.

Anyways, please quote some examples of him spreading false rumors, and perhaps DT members are able to do something about that. Otherwise, he's just another bitcoin hater to be ignored.
4090  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How can I get my 0.04 BTC back from Localbitcoin.com, is this website a Ponzi ? on: January 21, 2018, 08:06:21 AM
I'm not sure how they came to the conclusion that you were dealing with fraudulent activities when everything in your history is sell orders. Unless you did not follow through with releasing the coins after the buyer of your coins have sent you the money, then i don't see any way that your account could be used to commit fraud.

Anyways, localbitcoins is legit. They have held in individual customer accounts far more than your 0.04 BTC. It's not a ponzi because it does not promise any returns.

The website surely has reason to suspect your account, and your best shot at getting your money back is to reason with them in a polite manner. Eventually you should be able to receive your bitcoins back.
4091  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best payments processor for a e-commerce website? on: January 21, 2018, 08:01:56 AM
I'm looking for one to start accepting Bitcoin and maybe other crypto.

Here's some features that I would like:

Mandatory:

-Automatic btc to fiat conversion option available.
-Can be integrated to major e-commerce platform.

Really nice features to have:

-Segwit support
-Can also accept alt coins that can be automatically convert to fiat and BTC

Thanks!

Go with either Bitpay or Coinpayments. If you care more about anonymity then probably coinpayments but otherwise, Bitpay is the better option. Your funds are going to be safer, and there will be similar amounts of functions if not more compared to coinpayments. Bitpay is also a lot more mainstream than coinpayments, a lot of real life merchants and big international sites(i recently used apmex with bitcoin) use it as well.

But coinpayments does have an advantage - it basically supports all the active altcoins. Technically it's possible with bitpay with shapeshift, but it's a whole other step for the customer to take and there's going to be 2 third parties involved.

You can easily search for reviews for both on google. Good luck!

4093  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Selling a very high amount of BTC (100BTC) for Euro -- Where? on: January 20, 2018, 06:36:44 AM
Hello there,

could you tell me where I could sell a very high amount of Bitcoin (approx. 100) and transfer them to Euro?

Are there any lists of exchanges with pros and cons?

Any help would be very much appreciated!!

No worries, I will not make the crisis worse Smiley

Best

Most anonymous and convenient solution - go to localbitcoins. If you want better rates and get the better side of the spread, then create your own advertisement. But that'll take a lot of time for people to bite your offer.

Otherwise, search up sell bitcoin advertisements on localbitcoins and find one with high limits. Negotiate a deal with him in private, but make sure that when you're transacting you're going through localbitcoins escrow. Otherwise, you're not protected.

Make sure that the person you're dealing with has high reputation and preferably is a registered business. Otherwise there may be problems with his source of funds.

Bitstamp, kraken etc. will give you better rates but AML/KYC is difficult, therefore i wouldn't recommend them to you. For such a high volume trader, it'll turn out to be a worry.

i bought bitcoin from coinbase and sent the bitcoin to a bitcoin wallet on binance. it showed up as "tether usdt" ,,, since i didnt want tether i sent it back to the bitcoin wallet....it showed up at coinbase as 6 cents.....now what do i do? did i loose my money? or "tether"?  i called coinbase and they said since they dont deal with tether they dont know where it ended up.  Binance has not been helpful at all. They put tickets too "solved" without emailing me what the problem is or what i can do too reverse this. Anyone can help once i get the tether back so i can transfer it too btc or whatever i have too do i will send $50 too anyone who can help. thank you.

national_bill@yahoo.com

How did coinbase send the USDT? Coinbase does not deal with USDT at all so i hihly doubt that you have probably messed something up here or it was never sent by coinbase but by another guy. Coinbase has nothing to do with USDT whatsoever.

If Coinbase did send USDT instead of BTC, then contact support. It's their fault.

However, you should not have sent back the USDT to your coinbase address since they don't deal with USDT. Getting that USDT back is a hassle, you have to negotiate with coinbase to find a solution. We can't help you here, since we don't have access to coinbase private keys.
4095  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX - NO WITHDRAWALS, TAKE CARE on: January 20, 2018, 05:51:49 AM
When are we going to hava a decent exchange which can handle the volume + great selection of coins + a good customer support?
Imagine what happens if a bank does this to one of its clients...

I know right, but unfortunately poloniex and other exchanges just can't give a single damn apparently.

My experience recently has been terrible, but eventually got my withdrawal through. My withdrawal was stuck at awaiting approval for quite some time, before it automatically cancelled itself and refunded the withdrawal back to my account. Then i created a new withdrawal and messaged support, got a response within 2 days and every withdrawal after that is fine.

For anyone interested to know, from my personal experience if you don't have 2fa enabled and you're logging in from a different country, you'll most likely have issues with withdrawal. So don't even bother to withdraw if you are a) unverified b) overseas and c) don't have 2fa on. You'll have your withdrawal stuck. Wait until you get back to your home country before withdrawing if you're travelling overseas as well.
4096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC fall again within a few days? on: January 20, 2018, 05:46:58 AM
BTC is now recovering, it is already at 11k $.
Do you guys think it will fall back to 9k or less within a few days?

I was going to buy some but i missed the 9k point, and now it just keeps rising.
11k seems still cheap tho, wondering if I should buy or not.

There are two possibilities right now, since we're already at $12.5k, up a whole lot from the start of the day.

a) This is a bull trap and we're going to continue to crash after this small pause in dumping.
b) This is a start of a new pump, and it may take us to $20k+ finally.

Both can happen but i'm leaning towards b. Just because of my gut feelings, and what happened previously when China announced a ban on exchanges that are based within their borders. Panic dump happened, just like this time, but the price then was only like $4k, and look at where we are now.
4097  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are mooning!!!!! on: January 20, 2018, 05:41:04 AM
Do you guys see how fast the market cap is climbing right now??? its insane, all time high coming soon I predict!

This is only normal, bitcoin didn't deserve to be so low from the start. Markets are starting to realize this, and since the price has been sitting around $10k-11k for the past few days, they feel safe to buy in one again.

But it's really no reason to say that we're mooning from this point. We're going to moon sooner or later, but we're not there yet. First, we will have to break $15k which is a important milestone for bitcoin price. Then, the ATH may dwindle and be replaced by a new one.

When we're at that stage, you can safely call it "mooning". Right now, i'm still cautiously optimistic.
4098  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] 📈 CoinCaps.net - Cryptocurrency Market Data! on: January 20, 2018, 05:35:21 AM
I don't see any particularly interesting features. There are already a bunch of these cryptocurrency market cap information sites out there, but i tend to stick to coinmarketcap.  Your portfolio net worth calculator is interesting, but probably not enough to convince someone to use your site alone.

Also, your domain is too similar to shapeshift's coincap.io. I don't know if that's going to do well for differentiation.

I would like to see a portfolio tracker, if you were going to have a portfolio calculator anyways. Make everything automated and generate a chart of performance. That will attract a lot of users if done well, but it's going to be a big project as well.
4099  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are Exchanges becoming too unstable ? on: January 20, 2018, 05:19:00 AM
Since when was exchanges stable? Ever since Mt Gox there hasn't been much improvement. There was cryptsy, which was the premier choice for altcoin exchanges back in the days, which in the end blew itself up. There was the bitfinex hack. There was poloniex, which is unstable as hell even now.

The exchanges that you listed aren't even as trusted as these exchanges, first you need to move to bigger and more regulated exchanges to ensure that even in the event of something going wrong, you have the peace of mind of knowing that it's regulated by a government. These small exchanges, cryptopia, coinexchange, novaexchange, etc. can run away any time they want.

Exchanges hold your money for you. Any service which requires you to send them money is risky, and often unstable.
4100  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: AnyChanger.com | Cryptocurrency Exchanger on: January 20, 2018, 04:24:08 AM
By escrow system do you mean using you own website or using something like paxful or localbitcoin or forum escrow?

I will put some bitcoin to a escrow provider here in forum as security. And why should i use paxful or localbitcoin, then what is the point of having a fully automated exchange site ??
We want to introduce our new CryptoCurrency Exchange Site AnyChanger.com

There are many exchange sites out there, Most of them only accept high volume orders like more then 0.02 btc and big exchangers may accept small amounts but they have issues like verification, and you have to make 2 trades if you want to exchange one coin to another.

Here we accept low volume orders, and direct exchange between coins.

Currency We Accept:
1. Bitcoin
2. Bitcoin Cash
3. Litecoin
4. Burstcoin
5. Dogecoin
6. USD (PerectMoney)

We will add more coins soon. If you want us to add any new coins please post a message here.

You can contact our 24/7 Live Support if you have any Questions

Visit Us at: https://anychanger.com

Thank You

You have to realise that you have a lot of competitors and to enter the market is no easy thing for an automatic exchanger. There are only a certain amount of demand for these services, and shapeshift is currently dominating the market with changelly coming in second.

What i suggest you add:

- A better UI, current one is just too basic
- Clear minimums/maximums per trade
- Fiat payment processors like PM, Payeer, WMZ, etc.

Also, escrow 1 or 2 BTC as a guarantee with one of the trusted escrows on forum, otherwise nobody is going to trust you as warningsigns said. Zazarb has done something similar with bitmixcoin, so you could potentially contact him.

PS move this to service announcements.
