That is why i always advise our goldcoin community not to hurry to have the coin on an exchange. First buildup a big loyal goldcoin supporters and than go to exchange. Now all those miners only want to be fast on an exchange to dump their millions of coins.
I keep hearing that about GLD, I guess we'll see, I have some, but I honestly think it will be forgotten before it ever makes it to exchange, and itll die - Its going on cryptsy and it hasn't been forgotten about.

Actually a lot of loyal supporters have bought out those people waiting to be on an exchange and dump there millions of coins, and now the coins are held by loyal supporters.

Worldcoin vs. Digitalcoin?
Didn't Worldcoin come out before Digitalcoin? They appear to be very similar, aren't they? They also are both right at the top of the mining profitability chart. I think how it allows for fast transactions does add something to the coin (compared to LTC and BTC). I wonder though, why there are these 2 coins that are similar. Is one going to end up becoming more dominant and killing off the other? They both can't live forever I wouldn't think. Anyway I'm pulling for Worldcoin!
EDIT: ON coinchoose, digitalcoin dropping like a rock now, WDC going strong! Good job everyone
WDC was first WDC is faster (15 second blocks for WDC compared with 20 second blocks for Digital Coin). Digital coin is just a slower version of WDC with less community support. It will go through the typical pump and dump phase and end up lower than WDC. what about gldcoin?

Lol neat.... go goldcoin!

|

lol, not a problem, there are 7 millions premined coins, ask someone to donate that amount to you, it's a piece of cake.
grow up Lol... yes please do. As someone else said there were billions maybe trillions of dollars of gold pre-mined before you were born, does that make them worthless. Also remember to always make a USB backup.

0 premined coins. People could start mining when they were released pre-mined means the owner mined them before he released them.

Thanks for investing in GLDCoins Just_Me.

UPDATE:
I was wrong about just_me. i imported my wallet at blockchain.info and sent the funds with no problem. Sorry for the false accusation against just_me, i was wrong. he/she is not a scammer, but rather an honest individual who held up their end of the bargain.
You may want to edit your previous posts.

All, FYI on the wallet trying at times to re-sync. This is someone trying to attack the network through offline mining of the blockchain. They then try to force it onto the network (to get all the coins they mined offline), but the other nodes catch it and ban their IP automatically after a while. They obviously know the other nodes will reject this, but they try anyways because it acts like a denial of service.
Once the network has enough nodes/miners, we won't have this issue, because likely other nodes will ban them before you even see it. This code as far as the wallet goes is identical to litecoin. Only modifications are on the reward/difficulty logic.
You usually only see this on coins with low hashrate. Once we are added to an exchange (within a few days I am told - can't say where), and more people start mining (because it will be worthwhile for for them), these issues should cease.
Thank you for the update gldcoin. Thanks for the update. That means we need more miners!

Hi GLD'Rs
I like the GLD community, it looks like a solid build to acceptance rather than a hype coin. A pleasant change!
That is the goal of the goldcoin community. More and more are joining and accepting goldcoin. Yup. When people were bashing it we sticked with the coin and now its improving. Glad to see GLDCoin is being picked up by a lot of people now!
Woot!

You realize though that all of the inside blocks weren't taken by the developers & insiders. First of all there are no insiders as far as I know just 1 developer who won't reveal himself/herself. I was just browsing the forum and I found out about it in time to get in towards the end of the first 200 blocks. Plus, hundreds of thousands of coins have been given away to people for asking (in larger chunks in the beginning than now of course), however, no one has more than a million that I know. I'm pretty active in this coin and hold a descent stake (40,000+ all from giveaways but I held on to it:))... and the largest holding I know is 500,000+ from someone who bought it w/ LTC.

Ha ha ha, Oh poor boy. You call 56K coin premine something sensational? Newsflash: EVERY coin has some form of pre/instamine. 56K is NOTHING in comparison to Bitbar, Mincoin, PPC, Novacoi, Feathercoin, CNC, BTC, Litecoin etc.
Sure it shouldn't happen but a 56k coin premine is hardly sensational by any means.
Your hero title should be stripped. Litecoin came with 2 blocks pre-mined for a total of 150 LTC. I won't even go into the others. pls go 56k powercoin @ current selling price is ~200 or 250 tops LTC. 250 vs. 150 not to big of a difference in the overall scheme of things to me.

Yup. Hopefully we manage to get the glitch worked out.

Since the coin was so heavily premined like nothing before, every award should be at least 100.000+ coins...
Why are you bashing gldcoins so much on other threads to? Is it to support feathercoin. A lot of the wealth was well distributed and many of the people who have large stakes now (such as majormax) purchased the coins.
