421  Economy / Goods / Re: Xbox One Day One Edition on: December 09, 2013, 11:12:32 PM
What's up with the whole "Day One Edition" thing?  Are they different from retail Xbox's?

No?  I tink that the preorder name was just Xbox one, day one.  As a preorder.

It comes with a controller that says
"Day
One
2013"

I have one still in the box if someone wants it.
Although Im pretty sure Im gifting it.

426  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Used USB ASICs - Block Erupters - Furies on: November 28, 2013, 03:54:20 AM
I have seen a couple similar posts and tried contacting a few people but got no response.

I want to buy used USB ASIC miners, mainly interested in Block erupters and red/blue furies.

Will pay $15 per Block Erupter. I am thinking $150 for furies, but open to negotiation.

I can pay in BTC, Paypal, Bank cash deposit, or wire transfer for large transactions. Willing to escrow for peace of mind, but I can provide identification and prove trust on other related communities such as otc web of trust. I will not send any funds first except for escrow purchases and PayPal. If you accept PayPal you are shipping a physical item to my confirmed address and can require a signature for payments over $250. There is little risk of reversal, and you will be covered by seller protection.

Please PM me with offers. I will also respond to any posts in this thread.

This guy is a great buyer, hope you find all the USB's you are looking for bud!
427  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is Drillbit a scam? on: November 27, 2013, 11:22:41 PM
They say accept wire, but prices are only BTC? So, if I want pay wire what´s the price?

You should contact Barntech and ask him those questions. I know they are setting up a batch 3 rite now.

Just noticed some guy started selling "DrillBit" USB miners. Is this a scam?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/291025636844

They have a webpage: http://www.drillbitsystem.com/

Feedback appreciated.

Drillbit thumbs are a real thing they shipped this month, dunno about that price considering they where selling the 8 boards (20.7Gh/s) for the same price that this ebay seller is for the 2.7Gh/s...
429  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] KNC Mercury Miner on: November 25, 2013, 07:28:17 PM
Yes, you can actually get Blades for the same price, but they will eat up to 10 times the power.
Of course the price is negotiable, but for 2.5 BTC you woudln't even find a 60GH Avalon.  Wink

Wow cause  I just sold one last week for 1.7...

Resetting involves powering it off and on and waiting till the blue light (at the back inside next to the network connector) starts flashing, then pushing in the tiny reset button next to the connector which will make it flash much faster. After that it's ready to connect to at 192.168.1.1. Set your laptop to 192.168.1.2 and plug the ethernet cable into it.

Then do the following:
ssh 192.168.1.1 -l root
mount_root
mtd -r erase rootfs_data

After it reboots it should be back in failsafe settings and you can log in via ethernet again on 192.168.0.100 and flash it with a good firmware.

436  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS 5 Avalon ASIC bitcoin miners with total of 340GH/sec on: November 22, 2013, 08:58:34 PM
Well, I've got a buddy that works at Paypal & he's told me before that he'd never sell anything on eBay...

Even sending stuff w/ signature required isn't proof enough to defeat a well-thought out chargeback attempt

I asked him if I could take a video of the entire process, of showing that the item worked, packaging it up, taking it to UPS, and then having them ship it out.... and Paypal doesn't take video evidence, hoho.

Anyone can chargeback on basis of not receiving the item they paid for, regardless of whether or not you required signature.  In a case like this, I suppose paypal will 'make' them send it back to you, but maybe after 2 or 3 weeks and it's worth a lot less?

(most people probably don't even realize how easy it is to still win chargebacks even w/ adult signature required)    if, say, you use a bank debit card, you could also go to your bank and chargeback like that, saying it was fraudulently used.  if it's not something you've made a habit of, they'll reverse it immediately.   re:  I've had to do one bank chargeback and I've had the same bank for about 8 years now..  so they processed it w/ essentially no questions asked.. oh.. when that happens, paypal takes it back from you also

For the 10% fee E-Bay takes I'm hoping their "seller protection" is legit which is in addition to PayPal's "seller protection". I guess I will find out!
Thanks for the offers but all miners have now been sold at listed price. The demand is insane! One guy even paid via cash deposit at my bank with no escrow after his PayPal payment was flagged so no hold on funds or E-Bay fees for that sale Cheesy.  Now I guess I wait and see if I get scammed on the other 4...

Nice! Good luck bud! Keep us updated I would love to hear the progress.

When I had my bank do a charge back for BFL orders it was actually easier then dealing with PP directly. They asked what was up, I told them I had attempted many times to get a refund from PP and BFL. The charge back was processed within minutes, I never once heard back from PP about it and my account was not affected at all. I didnt even have to provide a single shred of proof that I attempted to contact either company. Shit, the charge was even out of the window that they usually will do a refund and even that was not a problem.

I could see this being a HUGE risk if I was a seller. That combined with the fees eBay and PP charge I have been keeping away from selling anything via either company since.

I wish you the best of luck with your auctions and considering so many people still sell miners on eBay you should be okay, I just would hate to hear another horror story.

Same problem here, withdrawal confirmation emails not arriving.

Check Spam. Mine always go there. I was able to withdraw all my funds this morning, after some nail biting hours...
