I am sure Rockminer gets a nice cut..my guess anyways.

They said they get commission but I've no idea how much.

I've just been looking at the sales of AMHash. About 3,400 BTC worth have sold so far over the past 2 months, with the vast majority of sales occurring in the past 13 days. That includes those sold directly and on Havelock but not the 0.32 Ph/s that Hashie are selling. Also, the price of the first IPO was 0.00125 BTC which I think sold about 0.3 Ph/s which was then lowered to 0.0012 BTC for the rest of the sales. The figure doesn't take that into account, nor the Christmas bonus hash rate either. That's around 1.1 million USD.  Smiley

423  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 23, 2014, 02:13:24 PM
If the direct sales get merged too, there should be about 2.85 Ph/s on Havelock. Hashie had 0.32 Ph/s to sell as well, so if those sales got merged too, there could be up to about 3.15 Ph/s on there.
424  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: December 23, 2014, 12:59:20 PM
Ultimately they should just sell chips. But who's buying. AMHash? I'd be pretty happy if they self mine for a while. Divs are really sorely missed

Why would AMHash be buying? They are ASICMiner.
425  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Small Site that might help Newbies on: December 23, 2014, 12:19:18 PM
Just thought I'd point out that the only cloud mining service you have reviewed and are recommending is almost certainly a ponzi. See Puppet's Cloudmining 101 thread.
426  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wanted to know? on: December 23, 2014, 11:25:54 AM
Our referral commission is 5%, which is not the highest. But, our deal is the lowest in the industry so far, i.e. 0.001 BTC/Ghs. So, the conversion rate is high.

This service is almost certainly a cloud mining ponzi and should be avoided like the plague.
427  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website is offering 1 GHs @ 0.001 BTC | 5% affiliate commission on: December 23, 2014, 11:21:47 AM
Why would the price of BTC make any difference? The service is supposed to have "No hidden fees" according to your sig. :

It is very shady but a lower BTC price would mean higher maintenance costs in BTC terms so a lower payout would have to be expected.

In order for maintenance costs to not be considered a "hidden fee", they would have to be stated, which they are not. By claiming they have "No hidden fees", they're saying the fees are included in the upfront cost or the fees are well stated. They're neither in this case.

First of all that questions shouldn't go to me. I'm not running this bussines.

These question are not specifically for you, they're for anyone to answer. The quotes are just for context.

AMHASH divs was below 800 (week earlier above 800) satoshi despite lowering maintenance fee.

All is adding up...  Even company from your sig behave similiar...

AMHash doesn't claim to have no hidden fees and their maintenance costs are explicitly stated.  AMHash's dividend reduced by about 30 Satoshis at most, your dividends from here reduce by a couple of hundred. Given your payout from last week was around 835 Satoshis per Gh per day (which was slightly higher than AMHash's for that period), their maintenance costs would have to be similar to AMHash's. If AMHash only dropped by 30 Satoshis, how do you explain the drop in your payout of 269 Satoshis?

Their behaviour is in no way similar.
428  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudminr.io - not legit at all? on: December 23, 2014, 10:53:22 AM
Is it possible to buy small amount of Gh/s from AMHash?
On your site the minimal package is 2Th/s, thatīs a lot for me.

You can buy 1 Gh/s AMHash contracts from Havelock. The AMHash3 IPO just ended and an AMHash4 IPO will likely be starting in the near future but AMHash1 shares can be bought off other customers for the time being.

429  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New to Mining on: December 23, 2014, 09:43:38 AM
Thank you guys for your advice. It is much appreciated. I ended up not going with either of the ones I listed in the OP, but instead paid less than $15 for a 200 Gh/s miner.

Thanks again!
Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. You'll definitely be able to ROI with that in less than a month.

That would depend upon the J/GH of the miner and the cost of electricity. Breaking even in less than a month is highly unlikely.
430  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 23, 2014, 09:22:22 AM
Dear Santa.
All I want for Christmas is to hear from AMHASH that they are going to reinvest some portion of divs. When new hardware will arrive with 4 times better efficiency (BE300) this will allow them to reduce maintanance fee 3 times, and when all equipment will be replaced, increase hashrate capacity of data center 3 times. This will help to maintain divs at constant level or even increase it! Not to mention that AM shareholders may see some long awaited divs. As you can see Santa it's good for all...
Best regards.

How on earth would that be good for AM shareholders? That's clearly only good for AMHash customers. Do you think it would also be good for AM shareholders if everyone who bought a Tube or Prisma received a free BE300 miner with equivalent hash rate? That's essentially what you are saying.

Why would you want amhash to "reinvest" when you can do it yourself? I assume there will be a AMhashX based on the new chip with lower maintenance fees, fee free to 're'-invest some or all of your dividends in that - or in anything else they may seem more profitable at that time.

I hope that's the case. AMHash could then offer to upgrade BE200 based contracts to BE300 ones for a suitable fee.

431  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CloudMining.website is offering 1 GHs @ 0.001 BTC | 5% affiliate commission on: December 23, 2014, 09:09:23 AM
3rd payout. This weak was worse than previous, but nothing surprising since price of BTC tanked about 50$.

Why would the price of BTC make any difference? The service is supposed to have "No hidden fees" according to your sig.

That is the point, but obviously the puppet army will not see any logic in it. They are just waiting to jump in at the beginning of the next page to call it scam... once again. And instead of this repetitive nuisance, our OP will keep quiet by not moderating these Havelock hooligans to loiter around and spit anywhere in the thread !!!

According to their "payment history" page, 2 weeks ago they paid out 2.98592723 BTC, last week they paid out, 10.95585424 BTC, yet this week they only paid out 1.64579392 BTC.

How do you explain that?
432  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud hashing review on: December 23, 2014, 06:03:13 AM
The thing with cloud hashing and why it's pointless to review, is that it may work exactly as advertised right now, but my concern would be the long-term dependability of the cloud hashing administrators.

Here's a list of the ASIC manufacturers cloud mining services:

ASICMiner: AMHash
BitFury: Bit-x
Bitmain: Hashnest
KnCMiner: KNC Cloud
433  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 23, 2014, 05:53:22 AM
Yeah, congrats AMHash!  Smiley

Also AMHash and Havlock, here's something worth considering. After merging AMHash 3 with AMHash1, instead of creating AMHash4, would it be possible to just add the next Ph to AMHash 3 and reopen it as a new IPO? That way, the Havelock link in the sig campaign wont need changing.

AMHash, don't wait to open AMHash4. As soon as you finish merging with AMHash1, get a new IPO going in order to capitalise on the sig campaign.

434  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudminr.io - not legit at all? on: December 23, 2014, 05:46:03 AM
Things may change a little with difficulty going down lately, but there aren't many miners that will roi in general. so finding a cloud mining operation that will be profitable for you is even harder.

They need a miner that will return enough money for you to profit after they get a cut, very tough.

AMHash is actually cheaper than most physical miners for most people in terms of up front cost (especially after factoring in shipping costs, PSU costs, local taxes and import fees) and electricity/maintenance costs.
435  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudminr.io - not legit at all? on: December 23, 2014, 03:31:55 AM
All of these services are generally overpriced and will not be able to realistically ROI based on their selling prices if you assume they will not end up scamming (with the exception of amhash)

They're all legitimate services provided by the ASIC manufacturers though and if they can only offer those prices, don't you think it a bit dodgy that people basically reselling their hardware can offer lower prices?

It's not the above services that have unrealistic ROIs, it's the "resellers" services because most of them are just ponzis with a get rich quick scheme.
436  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: December 23, 2014, 03:17:58 AM
Is dogie doing all these without remuneration ? I guess I have seen manufacturers sending him miner for free for a review. I might have been mistaken... so please correct me if I am wrong.

I believe he works for Avalon and Bitmain in some form of sales/support role.
437  Other / Meta / Re: How about a cloud mining sub-forum? on: December 22, 2014, 12:48:53 PM
So, ckolivas made a poll asking whether cloud mining should have it own section, and people voted "yes" and then he refused to implement it because he thinks not enough people voted in his poll that only lasted a day or two?

WTF!

I'm sorry ckolivas, but that's complete bullshit. If you want more people to vote on it, then let the poll run for longer. This is the first time I'm even hearing of that poll.
438  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0013 BTC / GHS on: December 21, 2014, 11:32:12 PM
Looks like this weeks payment had a 0 or less transaction fees as well.
Mine appeared in the wallet, but not on the blockchain.
It seems to have a wrong amount this week. WIll confirm once the transaction shows up on the blockchain.

What was the payout per Gh this week?
439  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: TERABOX - Cheapest mining contracts - from 0.0012/Ghs! on: December 21, 2014, 11:25:30 PM
Received my 3rd weekly payment. Payout was smooth without delay. Selling the hashrate is an option, but not considering it yet. I actually like this more than GAW because it doesn't force me to use my phone number for 2FA.

How much did you receive per Gh?
440  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: December 21, 2014, 09:37:41 PM
I am sure these guys having default trust will not last long...Theymos already knows of the problems. Canary seems to hand out lvl 2 trust like it is going out of style and that should be fixed soon. I myself have some lvl 2 trust, but earned it..I would never negrate without proof since it carries a lot more weight. If you have no proof simple leave a neutral warning since it shows up and let others decide off of that.

I've never been on Default Trust. I was on Canary's list (no idea why) but I'm not now. There's a discussion going on about it over here by the way, and most people agree with the feedback I've left.

Uh. What's up with divs ? One time payment and then silence again ?

That wasn't a proper dividend, it was just for accountancy.
