i'm a perma bull as well, but based on some of the TA (masterluc, Ryan, DanV) i think we're going to 280-290 over next 2-3 months before starting the next big bull trend. i think that trend could see 2015 looking similar to 2012, and the next block party coinciding with a big move, possibly parabolic.

It is under an ISC license, they even just need to fork everything. Paying someone to do that for one afternoon however probably already costs more than the XRP they'd need in their whole lifetime to use the existing Ripple network. I don't really see the appeal of forking off (which is stronger for pure "digital asset" systems like Bitcoin, which has been forked hundreds of times by now) but we'll see what the future brings.

the ripple concept is a good idea, but Ripple the company sucks. Google Wallet, Facebook Wallet, and iWallet will all be building their own versions of Ripple.

G+FB will be offering a wallet/payment system (their own version of paypal). bitcoin wont be directly competing with that. G+FB wallet may allow bitcoin transfer. i could definitely see them ripping off ripple's idea.

Okay, so let's help the banks some more and lend at negative interest rates. I'm seriously starting to consider central banks are the closest thing to evil on this planet. Why are they tolerated?
