Today marks 3 years of Bitminter !

A big thank you to all the current and former users. I appreciate your support. It's been a great 3 years. Smiley

It's also nice to see that some who joined during the first few weeks are still mining here.

Over these 3 years we've had 271725 users mining with us. But there is room for more, so tell your friends!

I started mining yesterday so lets hope next year im still here Wink

Just asking, if 500GH/s requires 390W only, then CX750 can handle the OC'ed S3?

I have right now 2 S1īs overclocked to 200 GH/s and 2 CX750M also.

And i think that they consume 420 W each one, so if S3 requires just 390 W.... would be great if we can overclock them, we have still 360 W left.

I would like to know how much will be that Kit for upgrading S1 to S3... and more important.... will soldering be necessary?

S1 upgrade kit will only be available after 1 or 2  months as per the guy visited BitMainTech booth.
The price will depend on the exchange rate of BTC that time and the difficulty.
Since its BitMainTech we can hope it will be a fair upgrade.
Regarding Upgrade Method: Most probably it will be plug and play. They will maximum avoid such soldering things.
As per their statement the upgrade hit will be the 2 pcb boards. They said the new heat sink is compatible with S1.
So, I assume they will be supplying heat sink along with the upgrade boards.
Thus the upgrade will happen when we remove old blades and screw up the new blade, plug the cables to controller, done.
All are assumption, there may be very different from reality. Smiley

ok nice hehe. but 1 - 2 months later its too late Wink

How much GH/s you have ? If you solve block you get extra reward?
On BitMinter, no, you don't get a bonus for solving the block. The only pools I know of that give you a bonus for solving the block are p2pool and mmpool.

Ok, thought you received bonus for that hehe.  Cry

Yeah! solved a block.  Just had to say something.

How much GH/s you have ? If you solve block you get extra reward?

That's less that what I earned / block on slush pool with just 200 GH/s(0.00206662 btc reward / block more less). that must be wrong. ... or not ?

How long ago was that?

few days ago.

right now then how much more less / block for 400 GH/s? well i will just wait and see once i have 10 shifts..

I have 416 with bitminter and 20 days at that number I get. .00858 a block

0.00858 BTC = 5,13 $ / block ? wow not bad... and in 1 day whats the blocks avg ?. Yeah i know it depends because you can find a block in 1 hour, 30 mins or 25 hours.... so.... but not bad for 416 = 0.00858 / block

at bitminter's size of 1200th  they should make 12.5 blocks in 1 week.   so 12.5 x 5.13 = about 64 dollars a week or 9 dollars a day

Oh ok! thx again  Smiley

might want to read the home page a bit more.  you need 10 shifts first.  They average them.

400gh right now after 10 full shifts should be ~0.0085

ok i will read home page then about that reward system.

But you mean 0.0085 btc / block for 400 GH/s?

thx

I have 2 s1 overclocked (400 GH/s) and it says expected reward for next block is 0.00077093 btc Huh??

Really?

That's less that what I earned / block on slush pool with just 200 GH/s(0.00206662 btc reward / block more less). that must be wrong. ... or not ?

And where can I see actual block when is going to be found?
440  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1450 TH] BitMinter.com [1% PPLNS,Pays TxFees +MergedMining,Stratum,GBT,vardiff] on: June 25, 2014, 05:41:57 AM
still dont understand which section i can see my BTC balance. Where can i see what i have already earned?. I just see balance in transaction history, but i want to know for example for last block, how much i earned, how much left for next block to be completed and so on...  Huh Huh thx!

You mean this? https://bitminter.com/members/ (you need to be logged in)

Quote
Personal Assets    Balance    Unconfirmed    Future    Expected per block
Hover your mouse over terms underlined with dots for additional info.

yeahhh!! thx!!! was empty last time i changed but now has values Smiley

but why do i have stats for bitcoins and namecoins? cant i only mine bitcoins?
