Hi, what do you recommend me?
I want to buy another S1.
Right now, i have 1 S1 Overclocked to 200 GH/s, with Corsair CX750M.
If i buy another one, i cant use it in the same PSU, unless i dont OC them.
So whats better??
2 S1 @180 GH/s with 1 Corsair CX750M?
Or 2 S1 @200 GH/s with 1 Corsair CX750M each one?

Hi guys i have a question. I have my s1 for rental, but i would like to know some things:
when a guy rents my s1, and he pays for example for 1 day 0.0135 BTC, i receive that money, ok, but how much BTC will he earn?. I mean, he is paying 0.0135 BTC (4.21 EUR) for 1 day, so "i suppose" he expects or he should earn more than that, right??.

I put my rigs on rent and also rental at times. Sometimes its loss some time its gain(New coin release). Ideally rental are just above the most profitable coin. Some newbies do it to learn. All depends on which coin is mining. Ok thanks  |

On the other hand, u can buy 180 GH/s on pbmining(0.0053 right now BTC / GHs.... 180 GH/s would be 297 EUR), so in 1 year u earn with 180 gh/s on pbmining ~1668 EUR because u dont have to pay power. u payed 297 EUR for those 180 GH/s yeah but u get ROI and more...
So... how can this be that easy?.
I mean... yeah, u earn maybe 20 eur less than with S1 / month, BUT u dont have to pay for power...... what am i missing here??.

Im getting my first s1 this week.
Do you guys recommend OC S1 to 400 MHz / 205 GH/s??
Thats 360w without overclocking vs 500 - 525 w overclocked.
180 GH/s vs 205 GH/s.
Its worth it OC then?

Whats the point buying piece of pcb which cost more than psu? I dont get it, check this:  Cables costs: 2gbp psu cost is :12gbp You can plug up to 2 units on one PSU by them cables. All my PSU have mods to slow the fan. As original one are sooo loud. No issues what so ever. Where can i buy then necessary cables for using dell with s1? . And u know how much kw/h consumes s1 with that dell psu? ? |

You will spend to much money for PSU, just go for dell poweredge 2950 750w and it will cost you like $25 or 15gbp Mmm but i read that corsair can run up to 2 s1s, its not a better option than that Dell? Just comparing prizes maybe yeah its cheaper but its a good psu? And can run 2 s1s? And that dell psu comes with conectores for s1 or i need to buy cables? |

Sorry I had forgot about that. I too am running off an RPi, and just a heads up: you're going to have a hard time finding a hub strong enough that isn't 3.0 to power all six. The Anker 10 port 3.0 hubs are supposed to be pretty good. 12V 5A
I cant use 3.0 usb with raspberry pi and my antminers u2+, just 2.0 |

An AntMiner U2 requires 2.95W at 2Gh/s, per the Bitmain website. That means that you must account for .6A or so for each miner, and leave a little extra to keep the hub from burning out prematurely. Six miners are drawing 3.6A, not to mention whatever the fan is using, clearly putting you above max. I saw your ebay post and assume you're not in the U.S., but for what it's worth I am running five of these AntMiners on a Rosewill 10 port hub as well, but the 5V 4A version. http://bitcoinrigs.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/rosewell-10-port-usb-port-2.jpg Got it on Amazon. I also don't suggest you buy another psu and try running your hub with it: if the two are not rated for each other, you're probably going to short out/probably destroy your equipment/probably get shocked/probably start a fire. Good luck man Ok thanks so much. Now they are working perfect. I reduced the overclock to previous frequency, and now the 6 work without problem. The antminer will use an own psu(just bought it), but i would like to buy an usb hub with vertical align for the antminers, just like the one i have. Can you recommend me any that comes with a good psu? thanks |

Actually they were $12 at some point ... I should've ordered more of them at that time. I've been using them for testing various quantities of NanoFury boards and so far they've been performing pretty well. A follow-up : I've been using those Amazon ones for testing of the dual-chip design and I am very impressed by them - I've plugged them into USB3 ports and 3 miners are happily hashing there when pushed to the limit. And a very disappointing observations from this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817111981 (and there are a lot of similar ones with 2.5A power brick) The power brick is a piece of junk and as soon as you add some load to the hub (let's say 1-1.5A) the voltage drops to 4.6-4.7V and if you push it even harder it goes even below 4V. This was a nasty surprise for my desktop which in essence ended up having to provide all the power as that power brick's voltage was well below the PC's 5V. Hi do you recommend me that usb hub for mining with antminers u2+? or what usb hub can you guys recommend me? because antminers u2+ have heat sink and are harder to fit thanks |

hi i have a problem. I have this usb hub i bought on ebay with that power supply it came with: http://www.ebay.es/itm/261433004354?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649the power supply says: INPUT 100-240 V - OUTPUT 5V == 3.5A and i have a raspberry pi connected to that usb hub, as well as 6 antminers U2+ and a vent. I have minepeon, and bfgminer. The problem is, that i have the 6 antminers but seems like 2 of them have this problem:  and finally, 1 antminer disconnects and it says i just have 5, and then they all work fine:  my question is.... maybe this is because my power supply for the hub is not enough, and like i have a vent, 6 antminers u2+ and the raspberry pi connected to the usb hub, they dont have enough power and thats why 6 antminers cant mine together and just can work 5?? here is the usb hub with the antminers and the vent:  Also here you can see, even with the raspberry pi connected to my computer, and the usb hub just with the vent and the 6 antminers, that 1 antminer always accepts less than the others, and runs at a lower hash rate:  So if thats the problem... what power supply do you recommend me?? i saw this one: http://www.ebay.es/itm/5V-8A-40W-LED-Power-Supply-Netzteil-230V-AC-fur-WS2801-WS2811-WS2812-B-Strip-/281268122538?pt=Netzger%C3%A4te&var=&hash=item417ce2f3aaand if you can recommend me also another usb hub because i need to buy another one.
