421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 29, 2019, 03:40:47 PM
~snip
Without cricket my life is boring LOL There are no international cricket at all. I was a bit excited with this Pakistan tour or Sri Lanka (B team :-P ) but rain gave it's hand.

We had a one game today (Pak vs SL) but its already schedule for tomorrow with mutual agreement. let's hope that ground might be ready for tomorrow's game and good to see they are reviewing this series schedule.

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2nd ODI rescheduled for Monday

Anyway, This might cheer you up. "Just For Fun, No Judgement"

First when I heard the news about the match getting postponed I thought this has been done for some security reasons. Further came to know this has got postponed for some unseasonal rainfall. Hope everything happens good with the cricket as the tournament already received some threat from terrorism groups.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine wants to legalize crypto (again) on: September 29, 2019, 01:19:58 PM
When there are new people taking power, they always want to improve on what their predecessors did, so you often see laws changing when there are a change in the government leadership. Take Donald Trump for instance, in his election campaign it looked like he was Bitcoin friendly, because he surrounded him with pro-Bitcoin supporters, but when he got into power... the opposite happened.  Roll Eyes

The government of the Ukraine first exempted Crypto currency transactions from taxes and then they realized that they created a loophole for people not to pay taxes and now they are reversing that decision.  Cry
Yes, everytime governments try to show themselves advanced than the one ruled the country. This is common with every country's plan execution on different policies. Ukraine government giving exemption from taxes was much spoken. Now suddenly a plan change is truly disappointing. Anyhow they haven't gone completely against cryptocurrency like few countries around the globe. Somehow things associated with cryptocurrency activities were gonna get taxed.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily on: September 27, 2019, 12:29:09 PM
It has been more than a month since the price of bitcoin has not experienced a very drastic increase.  And that greatly affects the price of altcoin. I prefer not to panic and sell my assets cheaply. I prefer to hold until everything gets better.
The price hasn't grown big, but there is continued fluctuation above the range of $10000. Next thing the price of bitcoin fell low from the value close to $14000 reaching $10000. This wasn't much into discussion as the market didn't fell low to the $10000 barrier. This time falling low to $10000 is the major reason for such a big discussion.
424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Down below $9k! Buy the dip now? on: September 27, 2019, 09:59:43 AM
The 200 day moving average as well as the stock RSI has reached the over sold range. This indicates it to be the downtrend, and further there is more chances for fall in the price reaching low to $7000 if the current barrier gets broken. Considering these factors it is always a good choice to invest on the dips and hold for long term profiting.
425  Economy / Economics / Re: Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: September 27, 2019, 09:07:13 AM
There is a project I saw on this forum they issue loan in cryptocurrency, including bitcoin, I have not lay hand on it again to read their whitepaper so I see how they intend to factor dumping, so their loan won't be in trouble. Banks should be about to issue loan to customers in the future, the price of bitcoin will just be increasing as more and more persons size the privilege.
I believe that there is already a bitcoin lending service going on in this group with the likes of Darkstar giving loans to people with and sometimes wihout collateral, i believe that the same method could be used by banks to give loans in cryptos to their customers.
Through some stepped process and escrow services loans were provided after collecting collateral. This is almost the same as the banking services. We need something better and easy, and this happened after looking at a mobile application that is developed to provide loans. Here our identity gets revealed, and further everything signed electronically. In 24hrs time loan amount is deposited to our account. Initially one is eligible to get $50 further upon the way he repays one can get upto $3000. This is truly good for people from third world countries. Maybe similar systems can come with cryptocurrencies in the future.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saudi Oil and how the recent attack may affect Bitcoin on: September 27, 2019, 06:51:16 AM
The recent blast on Saudi Oil companies has caused a heavy disturbance to the economy. More and more country's economy is completely dependent on the oil industry. By that time a small fluctuation took place in the bitcoin market, causing the price to fall low to $9500. In a very short time period the market got recovered and now once again price has fallen reaching $8000.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2 Years of bear market.. what to expect next on: September 26, 2019, 11:52:18 AM
Whether it is two years or more years of bear trend, nothing to worry about. All that happening close to the cryptocurrency market runs on a cyclic pattern. Today the price can fall, but the same gets overcome by the growth. Only risk is that we don't know when will the price recovery takes place.

Over the two years we cannot say there isn't any growth, the growth took place in a slower phase and this year the growth is bigger than the previous year. Possibly the gradual growth over the end of the year will be taken to the next year as halving event is gonna take place.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers inside cryptocurrency investing on: September 26, 2019, 11:15:53 AM
Investing into cryptocurrency is really dangerous when you get into it without understanding what cryptocurrency is all about. The danger can be explained in a short with the present price drop. If a newbie have entered the cryptocurrency market and invested $1000 when the price was above $10000 what he have at present might be around $840. This will be understood by an long term user that it'll recover, but the same won't be accepted easily by the newcomers. This will end up the cryptocurrency involvement of the user.

There is danger in different forms, starting from the fluctuations to the hack. It is our responsibility to secure ourselves and stay active to overcome the dangers.
429  Economy / Economics / Re: Is cryptocurrency help to expand the world business? on: September 26, 2019, 10:12:47 AM
Now a days business and product is for all. Every country exchange their core product with other countries to meet theit demand. What you think Is cryptocurrency help to expand the world business?
If the businesses will adopt cryptocurrency and blockchain?theres no doubt that they can be expanded with cryptocurrency helps as what others are having now

In some places in other countries.bitcoin and other crypto is considered as currency andlook tat their businesses,it’s growing and going towards future not like those who sticks in fiats

Yes, they just need to adopt cryptocurrencies and start to legalize it. Acceptance of bitcoin and another cryptocurrency will genuinely help the world of business, and yes their some countries now that support bitcoin and another currency. In terms of business its a win-win situation of both sides because the transaction and ability of cryptos are so great. Smiley
Agreed, and already there were people few countries that have begun to use cryptocurrencies for all the business needs. This happened as a result of the currency inflation took place in those respective African Countries. As they aren't able to carry a huge sum of amount they moved on towards other sources and found bitcoin to be more convenient.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: September 26, 2019, 08:34:58 AM
People are betting because they want something that can fulfill all their dreams, they consider winning a lottery like a genie granting them wish, Some lottery offer to share their revenues to charity, and this is one of the reasons why they bet, they are betting for their hopes and dreams while at the same time getting a feeling that they are donating to a charity by betting on a lottery.
Funny but what you’ve said is true.Lottery turns to be the majority of bettors as superhero or someone that can save them from the cruelty of life, that their misery will vanish if they win the jackpot

Imagine how big the amount of winnings?money that only once in a billion people can have

Actually my grandparents and my parents are still buying lottery tickets not because they wanna be millionaires in their old times but they used to do that for a long time now

There are lot many people who are used to it. They don't bother about winning, but they regularly spend on lottery. Recently one such incident took place in my state where six friends working in a Jewel Shop used to buy lottery sharing money. On a special occasion they bought the special ticket by the same way of sharing. This got them the jackpot of $1700000. This was shared between them after the tax is being collected by the government.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: September 26, 2019, 08:03:24 AM
Bumping this hoping we find someone to contact the ADMIN for possible BITCOIN gambling.

I think the admin of that website is from the Philippines. And I doubt he would approve to include bitcoin as one of payment methods on his website. Bitcoin here is only popular to people that is looking for investments usually rich. I think people that bets into cock fighting here doesn't know how to use bitcoin or even know what it is.
There might be some plans for it, and I don't know how this cock fights were conducted integrating to online gambling access. In my locality it happens as a tournament where we're supposed to register. The registration closes by certain time and to get registered a small fee is being collected. Further the matches were scheduled and at the time of fight people crowded at the place used to bet and pay. Winners will get rewarded once the match gets over.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial crisis 2.0 - What will happen to bitcoin in the next crisis? on: September 26, 2019, 07:20:08 AM
If there happens a crisis, surely this will affect bitcoin. The reason I find is the usage, we can expect a much increased usage of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies by that time. Now when we compared to the economy contributed by bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies what we have is very small. This is one of the big reason bitcoin not getting affected by these crisis.

Every year the adoption, usage, and as investment bitcoin get its market widened. So, when there is a huge contribution surely there will be some impact over bitcoin as well, which might get overcome gradually same as the what happens now.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will BTC halving stimulate price growth? on: September 26, 2019, 04:40:42 AM
Bitcoin having limited supply is one of the prime reason for bitcoin achieving such a massive growth in very small time period. When the supply gets reduced further and there is more and more usage from common man automatically the demand is much more high. This gets reflected on the price. If I'm not wrong, some day each Satoshi will get used similar to an USD if global adoption takes place.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Bakkt will influence Bitcoin price? on: September 25, 2019, 11:53:27 PM
There is a big expectation over the price of bitcoin with reference to the Bakkt launch. To the expectation things have been taking place in the opposite direction. Even if this is common form of growth people never accept it, they always look the price fall get connected to some events or negative news as a form of manipulation. This time there is nothing as bad news which is why everything got turned over bakkt.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019-20 EuroLeague Basketball on: September 25, 2019, 11:36:53 PM
When it comes to basketball the first tournament that strikes is the NBA. Euroleague Basketball seems to be quite interesting, but this doesn't get into much discussions. Coming up with support for selecting odds, player data, and different other uniqueness about the games history will add up more discussions. I've come across some threads that give detail and updates on the respective tournament and none to discuss as those weren't not familiar beyond certain regions.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If not a "store of value" or "medium of exchange" ... on: September 25, 2019, 11:16:14 PM
It doesn't need to be either store of value nor medium of exchange. From the use cases of bitcoin it is completely a multipurpose asset that has got varied usability. If someone prefer it to be a store of value, then it serves as a store of value. The same gets used as a medium of storage and further as a investment, trading asset, gambling token, etc. So we can't restrict bitcoin within two usage of store of value or medium of exchange.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: September 25, 2019, 10:56:12 PM
I would want to see that one day but the truth is that it's unlikely. There are still a lot of online fiat casinos that exists today and we don't even know if they will start to adopt cryptocurrencies and accept it as their currency too.

Not every gambler would like to use crypto and this is one sad reality. We're all here because we like bitcoin and other crypto stuffs but this is a huge world and thinking that most casinos in the future are crypto based, chance is slim.
Agreed, and gambling industry is very big. It considers all category of people which means users who love cryptocurrency, people who doesn't want to use cryptocurrency for gambling and other needs. This means we cannot make a person into compulsion, which might end the gambling habit of the gambler. The gambling network is always in need of more and more common people using their services. Taking it into consideration they'll provided as much support for different user category and only cryptocurrency is unlikely.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption! Finally? on: September 25, 2019, 10:34:33 PM
Adoption of technology has been found much than the adoption of bitcoin. We often get to know more and more marketplace accepting bitcoin into their businesses. Here the small business enterprises get paid directly in terms of bitcoin which contribute to a very small volume. Apart from this there is large scale business networks and chained networks accepting bitcoin. Those were happening through third party services. This is no big thing and it isn't perfect adoption of bitcoin. This will change as people have belief over technology but haven't used to a virtual asset.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: The Latest Crypto Price Dip Is Fueled By Fake News Relating to Quantum Computers on: September 25, 2019, 10:11:28 PM
Now there needs a reason for the price drop. This has been connected to different issues, one being the Bakkt, another is the Bitmex, now it is the news about Quantum computers. Something about Quantum computers was there in the news, and by this time if the price hasn't fallen now the same should have got attributed to the news which is true. This happens until the growth gets initiated for the next level of bullish move.
440  Economy / Speculation / Re: Markets crashing down, Want to know why? on: September 24, 2019, 08:07:07 PM
Maybe the market is getting adopted to the Bakkt. This year's peak growth has been reached, and now it is providing with some opportunity to make an investment. Probably the market will recover soon as there is more chances for investment to move from physical trades to coffee.
