421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is big news for Germany Bitcoiners out there! on: November 30, 2019, 10:08:25 AM

Germany is starting to emerge as the possible big leader in the cryptocurrency market under the EU banner. Now, I am sure that this move can be attracting other banks within the EU economic system, and I am also hoping that the impact long-term can really be good for the whole cryptocurrency industry. Should we then start to celebrate? We can do that subtly because things remains to be seen how this new development can really affect the overall market. But personally I am really hoping that the impact of this can be so good for all of us. Let's see if this can be a good source of inspiration and envy with other countries especially the big ones including the USA, Russia, India and of course China.

423  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: November 29, 2019, 09:50:27 AM
I'm trying to transfer my earned balance to wallet balance but when I click on sent to btc balance it happens nothing. Can I know the reason? Is there any minimum amount? Or other reason?

this kind of thing happens from time to time but it's just yobit's Funding on their website for this campaign has run out but don't worry since it will be refilled on Monday.

I don't think there will be an issue for payments. They just paid me for another month so I would assume they will refill the site balance by monday
Thank you for your kind information. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

This is the third time that I am experiencing the same problem that is why I am not really worried about. We just have to accumulate more satoshis doing posts here in the forum and by next week we can be paid, no ifs and no buts. Yobit has been a very good campaign in this forum that is why I am stills ticking even if they have gone down from max of 20 to just 5 right now. I am even hoping that they increase the max to 5 so I will not be looking for other social media bounties anymore.

425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter CEO Sees Big Future for Bitcoin in Africa on: November 29, 2019, 06:44:48 AM

There is a big and very bright future for Bitcoin in Africa and certainly cryptocurrency can be helping a lot of people in this fragmented continent. The potential is huge with Africa which is now considered as the last frontier for Bitcoin. Maybe we should be moving to Africa too and have a commune living with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and help him realize whatever his vision can be for digital currency and the increasing population of the continent. |As a businessman, I am sure that Dorsey can easily evaluate the potential of the continent as a huge market for Bitcoin. In some areas of the continent where conflicts can be ongoing, offering Bitcoin as the alternative currency can be changing the dynamics and can be the tool for these people to reach outside help and resources. For countries experiencing crazy inflation figures, Bitcoin can be the best storage of value compared to the fiat alternatives. And for the young people of Africa, Bitcoin can be helping them get empowered and make finance, banking and money right on their fingertips. I am just hoping that we are not at the same time promoting for more scams to sprout all over the continent taking advantage of cryptocurrency for easy movement of asset across different countries, and in this case education should really be provided for the people.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 29, 2019, 06:15:21 AM

Can this be the real reason why the real Satoshi Nakamoto decided not to anymore surface because anyway nobody will believe him even if he can be presenting the private keys to his hoard of Bitcoin and be able to move the assets to another wallet? Well, as for me, anyone who can do the requirement we rationally demand can be a candidate to be real guy but what if he turned out to be a woman? You see, this is the problem with a certain person's whereabouts have already been turned into a circus and with some even elevated to the cult status. However, I do not really understand why we guys continue on talking about the guy when in fact we are sure that his desire is for people to just move on without him and for his contributions to be recognized but his presence not anymore yearned for.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New EU law: Banks allowed to hold and sell Bitcoin as of 2020 on: November 29, 2019, 05:45:23 AM

Instead of looking at this development negatively, I would be welcoming this possibility of banks to finally be able virtual assets to their customers. Things depend on the demand on this matter. of course, not all banks will be offering this service because there is no law demanding them to. However, since banks are into business, they will eventually offer something if there is a demand for it because that is the way they are making money. And when this has been previously not allowed, banks who think that there is a big demand from their base customers will certainly look into this possible market.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2019, 05:22:19 AM

Women in general are looking for stability and not volatility which is exactly what Bitcoin as an asset is giving us. Plus maybe we have to look into the technical side of cryptocurrency to see if complicated mumbo jumbo is not another factor turning off many ordinary women to come onboard this industry. I am not saying that women are not open for change but maybe women are more wired to traditional way of doing things but this can be changing with the millennial generation where women are more aggressive, risk-prone and more adventurous, the right kind of attitude or mindset which Bitcoin can easily appeal to. Welcome more women to this whole cryptocurrency industry can be transforming its flavor and texture for the better.
429  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-29] Avalon Bitcoin Miner Maker Canaan Officially Files for $400 Million on: November 29, 2019, 04:50:28 AM
Not sure about their choice of country. Why would a Chinese mining company be filing for an IPO in America, especially with so much tension between the 2 companies, not sure why they wouldn't just go back to China, what does everyone think?

I am thinking of the same, why are these China-based companies are filing their IPOs in USA? I am referring to Bitmain and Canaan. Can be because these companies are not so keen and confident on their own government and that one day the government will eventually decide against Bitcoin mining? Now, if I am an investor, I would be wary putting my money on this company and similar ones. How will an IPO like this affect the Bitcoin market? I think there is no correlation whatsoever as the market right now is more under the pull of China, whatever China is saying and doing can be affecting the movement of Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency market. Maybe if there is one thing this IPO signifies it is the fact that Bitcoin mining remains to be a robust and lucrative industry to go into though the dynamics have changed a lot compared to the early years of Bitcoin's existence.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese football players wear bitcoin wallet QR code T-shirt, popular social net on: November 29, 2019, 04:19:47 AM

Next week, when another Chinese accidentally wore a t-shirt that is conveying something related to Bitcoin, we would be rejoicing as it can really change the adamant stand of the Chinese government against cryptocurrency. I don't understand why we are continually giving a lot of space for China in this industry. What is so clear is that as of now there is no way that Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency can be taking a foothold in the huge Chinese market and that we have to accept that reality. The sooner we realize that fact, the sooner we can move on which what this industry deserves. We don't need false news just to temporary push (and also put down) the market.
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Disturbing on: November 28, 2019, 07:54:45 AM

The problem is not really China but it is the market that is reacting to anything that China is playfully spewing to all willing to consume them. The latest debacle is so 2017 and I thought that two years can be enough for us to learn that China is not for Bitcoin and Bitcoin is not for China. Until we learned that big lesson well then China will continue to be exerting a lot of force on us which is really unnecessary. Can Bitcoin grow without China? The honest answer to that question can determine the future of Bitcoin.
432  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin Scam on Facebook Uses Identities of Singapore’s Elite to Swindle Users on: November 28, 2019, 07:16:47 AM

We should report this scheme to Facebook, so they can take action and not again be accused of allowing scams to be taking foothold in the biggest social media site. I am seeing similar articles like this being shared on Facebook for free, and they are getting the traffic they want by attributing sometimes controversial statements to famous people only to see that the article is actually promoting an investment scheme which is of course just another scam. We should never allow the return of fake news to Facebook  that is why alerting them can be helping a lot.
433  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin Investment benefits. on: November 28, 2019, 06:37:30 AM

The TRADER'S PLAN allows you earn 10% of your investment after a Period of 1 hour. The minimum investment for this plan is $1000

Just the mere reading of this sentence alone is enough for me to conclude that this is just another ponzi investment scam. Earning 10% of your investment within an hour can be crazy and only a scam scheme can be able to pay that, if ever they actually pay. Generally, this is the program that pays Paul coming from a new member named Peter. There is no question, there is no argument that this is just one of the many burgeoning High-Yield-Investment-Program or HYIP. Stay away from a program like this except if you are a good player and you want to take advantage of the program because you yourself have that scamming mindset behind your back.

434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockstack Bitcoin Airdrop is it Genuine? on: November 28, 2019, 01:12:34 AM

Talking about airdrop, I think that we should not really expect a lot especially if a platform is really legit, though of course there can be some better airdrops in the past especially in 2017. This can be some sort of promotion so either we take it or leave it. I still have to determine how legit is Blockstack but I am doing some research for it right now. Yes, $1 a week may not mean much but for someone who still don't have any Bitcoin this can be a good start. Of course, there can be some requirements for someone to receive the Bitcoin and many might conclude that $1 is not worth it.
435  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019 - 11 - 27] What Is The Upcoming Bitcoin Halving Big Deal In 2020? on: November 28, 2019, 12:54:07 AM

Good to know this very simple and non-technical explanation of the "halving" process in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Back in 2016, I was really confused with the implications of the halving and I thought it to mean that half of the value of my Bitcoin back then is going to be cut in half. Later on, I saw that this referred to the Bitcoin rewards for the miners. Every fours years, the halving event is usually anticipated with some excitement and even digital type of fanfare all because previously it has been a big impetus to push the value of Bitcoin to a higher level. Let's hope that come May 2020, there will also be the same thing, that halving can mean "increasing" this time around.
436  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Screaming SCAM, means you're stupid. on: November 28, 2019, 12:32:14 AM

Of course, people can lose money if one is not going to be careful whether it is trading or gaming. Now, on the matter of the system being rigged, the best is to get out and not participate. In many cases, there will always be red flags and people who feel that they are being victimized can be found online warning others not to be another victim. In the world of cryptocurrency, there are many scammers, people who are finding out that taking a residence in this industry can be profitable, so we have to make sure we are doing our due diligence otherwise we will just charge the whole thing to experience.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does cryptocurrency mining produce more pollution? on: November 27, 2019, 07:09:56 AM

Is the carbon footprint of these mining operations large enough to make a large impact on the world or it doesn’t really cause a lot of pollution in the long run. What do you guys think and are there any greener solutions for mining cryptocurrencies?

There is no question that since Bitcoin mining is requiring a lot of energy, there will always be carbon footprint involved. However, we have to understand that  all industries are contributing to the build-up of carbon monoxide and other pollutants in the environment. Maybe what we really need is a better mining technology that is requiring less power so that once and for all we can get away from the tag of not being pro-environment. We need a greener approach to this industry and I am hoping that can be coming soon.
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real problem in bitcoin (economic facts included) on: November 27, 2019, 06:47:52 AM
no trader likes fake volume, I think the fake volume is only to attract traders to join the exchange, I don't really know whether it affects the price of bitcoin, because what I know of exchanges with one another has only a little difference in price.

Fake data is a form of manipulations. In the world where our decisions can be based on available data, it is always critical that we are getting the correct ones otherwise our decision-power can be biased and subjected to wrong analysis. Right now, because cryptocurrency industry is not really that very much regulated, players or participants are prone to do many illegal things. And for as long as we are dealing with human beings, the weak side of human nature is getting into the way. We need more crypto-friendly regulations in place that can be working for all players, be they be exchanges or the users of the exchanges. And there should be penalties on placed so people can be extra careful, and we will not anymore be in the Wild Wild West era.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and New Ukrainian cinema on: November 27, 2019, 06:11:12 AM

When something is referenced in the world of showbiz or entertainment, then it is actually being helped with its promotion that can lead to more use and acceptance. Bitcoin really lacks advertising since we don't have a centralized organization with multi-million advertising budget to be burned. I hear many developments around cryptocurrency in Ukraine, and I am sure that in the next few years this country can be one of the top countries with more Bitcoin holders compared to the rest of the world. And I also heard that the government is not averse to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, something all Ukrainians should be thanking for. Let's hope that in the years to come, more movie mention on Bitcoin in a positive way will materialized.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The new Faketoshi strikes again! on: November 27, 2019, 04:56:39 AM

We witnessed the clown which Craig Wright made of himself in continually claiming to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto and the virus that he started has just transferred into another guy named Jorg Molt as he transformed and shed his old skin to emerge as the co-founder of Bitcoin with as much as 250,000 pieces of Bitcoin under his name. Well, if this man is enjoying the attention that he is getting, then at least he can be fairly successful at that and congratulations to him. I am sure that this is not going to be the last time we hear of this man because soon he can be coming with another good claim that is of course just as outrageous as ever. At least, he never claimed to be the founder but just the co-founder.
