Of course, the best medium to transact illegally is always the fiat money since there can be no trail of the movement except if there will already be intermediaries involved or financial institutions. With Bitcoin, all the transactions are open book and can be found by anyone in the ledger so it would be not good to do money laundering using cryptocurrency (except for private cryptos). I read a report sometime ago that actually it is really the fiat money which remained at the top spot of the tools utilized in illegal transactions...but then there is no one on the government side suggesting that fiat be declared illegal (just kidding).

I am hoping that this time the direction will again be towards the $13K level again but all of these hinges on whether the bull side is strong enough to withstand any pressure from the bear zone. Bitcoin.com has announced it will launch a crypto exchange called Exchange.Bitcoin.com.

This is the latest addition to a suite of products Bitcoin.com provides beyond their news service. The company has also developed a crypto casino, a wallet, and a P2P bitcoin cash exchange, aimed at furthering the utility of the forked alternative to bitcoin.

“While our company thinks the bitcoin cash network will be adopted by the masses worldwide, we also think it’s important to promote free markets and choice,” the company said in a statement.

Expected to launch in early September, the exchange will list many of the largest capitalized coins including bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin. Additionally, it plans to offer around 50 trading pairs, as well as Simple Ledger Protocol (SLP) tokens tied to the BCH blockchain.

I guess, it is not just Blockchain.com that is very much eager to enter the lucrative and expanding cryptocurrency exchange market. Will this be good in terms of competition? Certainly, we hope so as the more choices the better it would be for the end-users and of course for the whole industry.

Bitcoin has not been following what its WhitePaper contained because the users and hodlers themselves are not utilizing it as such...what with so many speculations around it. And we could not blame (not even can stop) people to speculate since Bitcoin is a store of value that is very volatile. Just because Satoshi Nakamoto has not yet personally surfaced should not immediately mean he was killed by the government...at that time of his disappearance the government had not yet fully realized the potential of Bitcoin and even up to now it has not yet understood the whole thing. Now, having said that, if there are people that should be blamed for this DEVIANCE from the original vision set for Bitcoin it would be us and no one else.

Of course, Craig Wright not concern at all in case the government can make a hostile actions against the use and proliferation of Bitcoin as he has already his own cryptocurrency platform and he got the money that he wanted in the first place. Now, it would be a different story of course if the government will be taking over what he owned. I wonder what kind of reaction he can have, just in case. The government can regulate the use of and the people around Bitcoin but I don't think it can really touch Bitcoin itself.

I am looking forward for the time when personalities like this man and others similar like him (their minions too) would stop to be given unnecessary space and time in the world of cryptocurrency because we already have so many frauds, fakes and deceits in this world there is no need to have another one.

The people behind Blockchain.com know marketing and now they wanted to explore the cryptocurrency more by launching their own exchange which can be complementing their already popular wallet infrastructure in place. I guess this can be good for the sake of competition as people will now have another option they can go to when it comes to buy and sell of digital assets though for now the pairs can be limited as they are just starting. Though we have to undergo the required KYC to avail of its many services so for people who are afraid to do it then this might not be for them as this is not a DEX platform. Good luck to Blockchain.com, the whole market can be ready for you.

Reference for what? Actually your a little bit late on here.If you do try to look at on how many coins/projects exist due to that kind of goal which is to be adopted globally then you would realize that it wont really be that simple and also ideas will just remain to be like that unless if its developed but somehow we are already flooded with various copy-cat projects in the market.

In the world of cryptocurrency and in the blockchain for that matter, ideas are so abundant but only a few of them will make it in the fierce and harsh real-world marketplace. There so many factors one has to face before a project can take-off, service and flourish. In fact, this is the problem with so many start-ups crowding the market and they are vying for the attention of funders and individual investors via ICO, STO and the IEO. Many ideas are just craps, some are copycats or me-too style and only a small percentage has the potential to be contributing real value.

This is quite expected especially since this is coming from governmental agency that actually do not have the complete view of the very industry they are trying to regulate. We also have to understand that these regulators are trying to tame a new beast. But one thing we should appreciate is that this is better than having no guidelines at all. At least, this can be the start of something and then later on amendments can be suggested to FCA. Just like in life, sometimes we can't have our cake and eat it too.

Well, to me everything and anything can be a bubble. All of us humans are bubbles since we will not last forever in this Earth we are in...the same thing with the fiat currency as no single currency from the past remained to be existing except for gold that is why this is considered to be the most stable and the safest haven among all investment tools available. Right now, we have Bitcoin which is likened by many to be the Gold 2.0 and due to its assumed scarcity (fixed supply) the value should be increasing as the demand rises. Is Bitcoin also another bubble? I would rather compare Bitcoin to the rising phoenix.

I am hoping that it can stay above the $10,000 level but for a market situation like this where the bears seem to be gaining the upper hand there is a big tendency that days from now eventually a dip can happen or the Bitcoin going down below the comfortable $10K zone. Well, that can anyway be a good opportunity to buy some more.

Following the tips given on that article above can be helpful but not a guarantee that something will not go wrong as there are many good projects that caught the attention (and the purse, of course) of many but they eventually turned out to be a big nightmare to the tune of millions of dollars flying into thin air and the supporters left with empty plastic bags (hope they don't throw them into the ocean!).

The truth is that the very nature of the ICO platform is quite risky -- very risky -- all because the marketplace is not regulated and when anything is not regulated that is when the dark side of human nature can easily take in. With no sense of legal responsibly, project proponents and developers change theirs mask into that of a scammer.

Hopefully, with the coming of the IEO where exchanges are injected into the scene, things can get better but until there is a clear-cut regulation on the whole crowdfunding process there is no guarantee that a project will not, one day sooner or later, just evaporate like a vapor under the light of the sun. Oh, well...

There is no mistake here; the trend is that there is an increasing number of people who are getting curious and will soon be entering the cryptocurrency marketplace and of these people a big percentage will be opting to go with Bitcoin before considering the alts. Surveys after surveys are already confirming this strong trend though they might be coming up with different sets of numbers and percentages. Once the global economy will be starting to slowdown or tank then we can experience a surge of investments in many crypto-based assets. People who are not yet on the bandwagon should start now thinking on how they can be a part of this coming boom -- hopefully in 2020 there can be a big turnaround for the whole industry as it is building the necessary infrastructure right now.
