4241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: July 16, 2016, 02:25:10 AM
I withdraw some cash from an ATM few weeks ago and just as i'm about to take my money out of the ATM the cash went back inside the machine so i tried to talk to the bank what i can do, and they told me to wait for a week for them to see if there were cash left inside. Hope they'd disappear sooner. and that we can all be using crypto.
4242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: reasons to buy from individual? on: July 15, 2016, 02:52:15 AM
its still privacy issues. Most exchange sites like bittrex don't ask for personal information except the emails you use upon registering but even that you get to share an info of your life.
If one intend to keep privacy, he may prefer a trusted individual at least its this guy that only knew about you.

If you've encounter zazarb, that guy must have a huge email list of bitcoin users by now lol
4243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: July 15, 2016, 02:41:48 AM
as i am a newbie.. i know nothing about trading... what should i do to start trading and multiply my btc.. guys please help me
Start trading with small amount is not recommended , why? Couse you will lose in fee if you want to widraw it ,if you really want to trade with small amount my suggestion don't widraw you can buy and sell many times until you get a large amount to widraw.

Not like that you do trading but you have know somethings before you start, the most important to do when trading anything is to stay aware of the market of that thing, and all the news that is happening with it. for example a developer team change or release of a new feature can shoot the price up.

Or you can just stay on the coin's ANN thread and watch the FUD for the price could drop whenever someone trolls around. Investors easily panic when someone mentioned its a scam. so the best thing to so if you just have small amount is just to sell it when its high and watch or maybe even set up the buy order. Having just about 0.1 btc is enough really.
4244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Mentrio | XMT | Crowdfund | Intellectual Property Management Framework on: July 15, 2016, 02:32:11 AM

I saw a thread yesterday taht mentioned mentrio is one of the ICO worth investing.  I don't see why and how different this is with the rest of those existing project which also has the Intellectual Property feature. but yeah would still be good to have some just so we won't be left behind.  Is there also a way to trade WAVES to Mentrio?
4245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had suddenly 500 BTC on: July 15, 2016, 02:28:25 AM
I would disappear right off of the face of the earth. You will be able to find me on some tropical island where weed is legal. But seriously, i would probably convert half of it to fiat, and hold the rest hyper long term hoping for it to surge (just imagine the price a few halvings s from now). Would maybe look at investing in a btc denominated asset if that ever becomes a thing again.

I would love to be with you on that island too puffing some dopes. Caribbean perhaps?
Will try to buy a beach front properties if i have that amount and from there i will set up a wharf where i could just do fishing, plant veges and everything to sustain. Will travel using my boat everyday too living a dream.
4246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much does selling an account cost? on: July 15, 2016, 02:23:14 AM
if you intend to stay alive in the forum and earn good, don't sell your account. creating a new one will take time and its not an easy job for you will have to wait months and month to be a SR. member only find out those who bought your account used it to scam people here.  sellers should feel the guilt when they help scammers scam thousands of btc.
4247  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save you Bitcoin for your (grand) child / children? on: July 15, 2016, 02:20:02 AM
What you should save for you children are the new coins that are cheaper as of now because they've be valuable in the future. BTC cost must so you'd have to spend a lot for keeps but if you just invest to some coins like those on ICOS, you help the community grow and at the same time when your grand kids already learned about these coins, they will also know how much it had grown and its value as well.
4248  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 15, 2016, 02:15:40 AM
I guess we can consider exchanging bitcoin to fiat as spending still right?
I've been trading as well like buying some coins such as Lisk, WAVES and BRK lately thru the bitcoins I've earned so yeah i'm spending by btc. Not for a commodity though. if I can spend btc on grocery store i may have spend more to the food i would eat than to the coins.
4249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 15, 2016, 02:10:55 AM
Hello Lisk believers, this may have been asked here before but I'll just shoot anyway.
Will RISE ever rise above Lisk like they claim as on their first post in their ANN thread?  They did have a draft that their platform are a lot better. can you help me clear this out.  I know their price don't even have a value of $0.01
4250  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: July 15, 2016, 02:06:31 AM
Yeah it will be more popular but i do not think if there are new users want to invest because the price is stable they can not gain profit on their investment. They will prefer to remain investing in bank than bitcoin that is why it is good for bitcoin the fluctuating of its price, bitcoin can able to motivate more users to invest because of that.

So you are not looking for other special characteristic of bitcoin and just pointing for the earnings that bitcoin price fluctuation will give?

Even bitcoin will now have a stable price, it's unique compare to other currency in terms of lots of things e.g transactions, fees, confirmation time etc.

Also the one you are talking about the new users will use this currency as a currency since the price now is stable and all they need is a unique way to send and receive money different from the usual one.

it may not be discussed every now and then though.  when bitcoin started to reach 700 last month, the rest of the webmasters forum already tried discussing about it and threads about investing to bitcoin were increasing on some forums. if its price will be stable just like xaurum, it may not be talked a lot and we may stop trading on exchanges too.
4251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: July 15, 2016, 01:55:29 AM
Gambling exist even without bitcoin so its not possible really. it is necessary for the money to circulate in the economy. it always help when users spend their bitcoin.
if however gambling wasn't introduced really, i think the rest of us wouldn't lose hundreds of dollar just playing poker and dice.
4252  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: July 15, 2016, 01:48:55 AM
Bitcoin may not replace fiat of all but maybe for some cities or countries. I'm positive that later we can see some cities doing it just like how Sweden started paperless transaction nationwide. If even jsut one tries to implement such, there will be more that will follow.
4253  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Looking for a micro job (captcha typing etc.) on: July 15, 2016, 01:17:17 AM

Is there money to these captcha solving sites?
I have met such site before and it gives me something to fill like a survey which can definitely take time than just joining to some money making scheme like signatures here in bitcointalk. how much do they pay per captcha?
4254  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 15, 2016, 01:12:57 AM
Don't let you BTC sit without doing nothing. don't rely taht it will grow exponentially unless you have about more than 10 btc sleeping on your wallet.
Go invest if to a gambling site and be a house partner or invest on some coins that has potential like steem or eth.
4255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 15, 2016, 01:04:42 AM
DAO-Way. DAO-Speed. Do you want similar problems with the Waves? If not, let the guys do their job. No need to hurry! Wink

https://steemit.com/steemit/@steemitblog/important-security-announcement-steemit-ceo-ned-scott

Steemit was today subjected to a cyber attack. In the attack, fewer than 260 accounts were compromised, and less than $85,000 worth of Steem Dollars and Steem may have been stolen.
The hack has now been contained. User accounts and wallets are not at risk, and we hope to soon reactivate the Steemit website to normal order. Any users whose accounts were compromised will be completely reimbursed.

That's just bummer, price may drop now and frenzy is going to be over soon. But why is this posted here in WAVES thread?

The team seem to be seeking for funds from the investors for the project to continue so they want more exposure yet making this thread noticeable every minute might not help still for the contents of this thread drowning the price down. The team should at least do something positive for not just to the project but to this thread as well.

Hmm. What do you want? There is a simple pattern. While the price falls - there is a lot of shit. Once the price is growing - there are so many positive sentiment. People Are People ....

Yes. people are people and are the strangest creature around but also capable of telling the truth.
I don't really get what causes delay for the project to progress when they have all the time to code, test and code.
4256  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: July 15, 2016, 12:51:24 AM
Was working with a webmaster forum years ago and have heard of bitcoin thru the forum yet i never really got into it since i didn't understand it well. and there were speculations that bitcoin will not succeed in the future. after years i already learned taht is value goes 1K+ and thats when i get to regret not getting into bitcoin since the start.

DDoS-for-hire service.Renting a Botnet is Cheap, Quick and Easy. (1 hour around 6$)
(botnet will be provided by 3rd party, market is already huge http://top10stressers.com/)
(You will be able to rent DDoS for your CRX.)

Nice! I remember Lisk was DDoS when the coin was about to be on the exchange, not allowing the investors to send their Lisk to an exchange to dump.
Can this be used also for such purpose?

Basically yes.
It can be used in many ways. .
Some of them are good and some of them are bad. Depends on the angle of view. (someone used it to protect his funds)

Market with botnets is already huge. Anonymity means there everything.
My original point was to eat a piece of DDoS markets volume and bring it to CRX.

But now I feel that DDoS service could be step in the wrong direction. I better leave this idea.

Hi
Yes, it will go wrong way for sure! Beacuse human beings got love story relation with forbidden things by birth. So leaving DDos dream will help CRX to prosper more! Anyway I was late to collect my first wave. Then explore myself in both of Google doc! And p.m @OP almost 16 hours ago. Waiting for to start my part of waving!

Thanks!

Got my perticipetion bounty! And my part of waving also found a heavy start.Thank you @Op! In fact, would like to learn little a bit more about penny auction system. I'm not a techy person. So want to know_ what are the relation between penny auction and CRX? And holders needed to be perticipet to accruing reward or just make sure enough coins remain in wallet?

Thanks!

Dividents will be distributed via blockchain. Every wallet keeping more than 0.5% of total supply will get a share.

Penny Auction Basics
Penny auction sites list items for auction starting at $0.01 and a count down timer.
Each time someone bids on the item, the items price is increased by one penny and 5-10 seconds are added to the count down timer.
When the count down timer reaches zero the auction ends.  The last person to bid wins the opportunity to purchase the item at it’s auctioned price off price (usually a huge savings).
You win if you are the last bidder and the clock reaches zero.

Penny auctions sites from the bidder perspective (average Joe).

To bid on an auction, you must purchase bids.  Bids usually cost between $0.50 and $1 per bid.
Your goal is to win an auction spending as few bids as possible.

We can use crypto for it. For example put 1 BTC in penny auction . And start at one CRX.

Seem a good plan. Dividends are awesome!
Will watch this coin perhaps adding this to some exchanges can help. Alcurex is good but isn't that just a new exchange, i don't see more reviews about it.
Yobit can still help this even when its a shitty exchange.
4258  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New Bitcoin Forum on: July 15, 2016, 12:40:23 AM
Creating a forumboard is really easy as you can just install it with click-next-and done button. but there are already a lot of crytoforum really, OP would have to compete 4 of those with better domain names and somehow getting busy.  One that i get to visit from time top time is allcryptoforum which is owned by reputable members here.
4259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: July 15, 2016, 12:16:25 AM
i wish to be a bagholder of the crypto that will replace bitcoin if btc really will be replaced by another. I miss the chance of having a bag of bitcoin during the time when its price is just cents. I could have bought thousands if i just knew.
4260  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: July 15, 2016, 12:07:34 AM
I never really thought of bitcoin going down to a hundred even when it dropped to about 250$ a year ago.
But what i'm waiting is another altcoin that could rise above that can possibly surpass bitcoin. i may never happen though unless we get to forget using btc.
