Too many of the same threads. Doge is a scrypt algorithm coin. Gpu mining scrypt coins was dead in 2014. Only exasperating the issue is that it implements Aux Pow and can be merge mined with Litecoin. So essentially you are fighting every scrypt Asic machine mining litecoin with your cards. The hashrate of doge is insane
Do yourself a favor mine gpu algo coins with your gpu, it will be way more profitable and even if you are trying to learn it will be much more informative and relevent.
Let them try you don't have to warn them, once they noticed that they are wasting their time they will quit or find other means, the smart ones knew that mining ETH and changing to Doge is the final solution if you don't have ASIC but some are just so stupid and ignorant cut them some slack lets say ignorant Agreed Phil. I have been scouring through some of the posts and threads definitely new people that just don't understand algos and the different gear needed based on algo. Just hope this thread reaches one person so they don't go on ebay trying to buy some cards in hopes of mining doge lol. |

It was a good thing that they won the game today and when the Portland Blazers will lose one time and the Lakers will continue winning then they once again back to the number 6 spot and skip the play-in nonsense thing. The playoff should remain like how it used to be but they made something unusual this year to give the league a new taste of competition which not really that impressive. If it was the traditional playoff tree, right now the Lakers will not use their full strength to be able to climb back again to the number 6 spot. they would have been saving their very best to the playoff games.  This whole play-in tournament will drain the teams below the 6th seed. Imagine the length of games they'll play before reaching the finals. If the Lakers remains on the 7th spot, they'll going to have a hell of a run in the playoffs. Well, the good thing about this play-in tournament is that, the teams below will have their last chance to have a shot at the playoffs finals, although with the slightest chance. I'd rather see the traditional playoff tree than with this play-in tournament. It'll only prolong the post season. If they win in the 7th spot they could be in their respective series after 1 game. I don't think that's a massive drain. I mean in the first series one team could sweep and the other series go the full length playing more games in their series than the other. Same thing here. |

I was looking to get some Comics graded and encapsulated then came across a local comic shop at a trade fair who had examples of other companies works and demonstrated how easy it would be to snap down the sides and pries the comic out.
To my thinking, you need to ask yourself, How tamper-proof would the encapsulation be, and, what kind of a market is there for that specific comic is there?
There's no point grading a comic if there's dozens of the comic already on the market.
after doing some research having it graded does add some value to this comic but not enough for me to wait the months long time frame to get it graded. The one issue i noticed is if i were to sell it on ebay and not ever selling on there i would probably not get much for it. Maybe i need to do a ebay consignment sell. This books value ranges from $500 to 60k if mint condition. Anything lower than mint significantly lowers the value. Consignment is always a decent choice for maximum buyer exposure and confidence. That is a pretty wide range of prices and if you are good and confident with its condition it may very well be worth using an expedited grading service for a higher charge. Have you looked into that? |

It's hard to predict which out of thousands of alts will go up, but what you can predict is that once a coin went up, it's bound to go down. Like, take the best performing coin right now, Dogecoin, there's absolutely no justification for its price, it has no adoption or promising features, it's pure hype. It's bound to go down, so if you carefully short it with small leverage, you're going to make profit. Obviously, the danger is in the known trading wisdom - "the market can stay irrational longer than you can remain solvent", but still the fact that pumped coins will go down is something that you can rely on.
I hear you and yes at a certain point alt shorter are going to make a TON of money but shorting into these bull runs have wiped people out. Touch to call the top and with days of 10, 20,50% gains you can get margin called before you even wake up for the day. Margin has a place but its not a good trading strategy for most. |

Yeah but why wouldn't you mine a gpu algo coin to learn. Why waste time on the doge network, you will learn more mining appropriate algos than asic algos like scrypt or sha-256 with cards. |

Dogecoin is merge mined so the hashrate is insane and thats using ASICS. If you are trying to mine doge with a card its completely pointless, don't plan on mining much if any at all. Pretty much every big pool mining litecoin is merge mining doge. I would recommend trying to mine a gpu algorithm coin so that you at least have a shot at roi one day.

Knicks had a solid game last night vs the clips, they needed that win. Huge game against the Lakers tomorrow night should be a good one. I fear the Knicks match up vs AD is terrible. Skilled centers or power forwards (like giannis or ad) gives Knicks fits. They will have to be real good beyond the arc tomorrow or they might get beat up.

ETC new historic peak exceeds 900% in just 3 months The price of ETC has gone up insanely for the past 2 days I have touched about $ 100 after it was just $ 9 about two months ago !!!  Some analysts set big targets as is evident from the picture and the first two targets have already been hit !!! The third and fourth goals remain, but they are big targets Do you think that the ETC is possible to touch these targets? Or is that difficult at the moment?  I don't think etc is any different than any other coin at this point. So many alts have went completely insane. There is no reason for this craziness, I would thinking shorting coins like etc in the near future might be the winning move. |

The only good thing about last night's game was I didn't have to watch too much of it. Joking with 24 or something in the first quarter and the Knicks going 2-20 or something to start the game told it all. Probably the ugliest game I seen them play all season. Hopefully an outlier  |

Hello I have a comic book ive held onto for sometime now and im thinking about having it graded to then sell it. The question i have ; is it worth the time and money to have it graded? Im thinking i take the time to wait and then it just sell for the same ungraded.

Think going rate is about $20 to grade. And a decent amount of time. So there's 2 things you need to ask yourself, can you wait until its graded to sell it. And 2 is it worth it financially. If you have a mint comic book worth $5 raw then id say no you won't get your money back. But if it's $500 raw and in mint shape you will get way more than your $20 back. So without knowing those 2 things don't think anyone can answer you |

I have a coin that just got pumped like 180000%, lot's of people bought at high price and are now stuck with the coin, what can be done about this ?  Lol nothing. There is no way someone can keep these groups from wrecking coins. Only way is to make sure your coin has tons of liquidity on the buy side and huge volume. They tend to go after coins with lower volume and thin books. |

What a relic. 10 BTC might sound ridiculous, but that piece of paper is priceless. For someone, it is not worth $100, while someone is ready to give millions for it. Reminds me of the case with the overly attached girlfriend meme. Yeah this one of those items that are tough to price. It goes up and down with interest.
