^^ I have to agree at certain point, I guess there's too much pressure on the shoulder of Kuzma when Lebron and Davis was injured, he was supposedly the go to guy to carry the team and he didn't live up to the expectations.
But let's not rush on our judges on him, maybe he really needs some guidance from Lebron to blossom into a real superstar in the future. Give him at least a year in Lakers uniform and see how he will perform as he gain more experience.

Only the management knows what's going on, we have our observation, so we are just stating our opinion, there's nothing wrong with that, at least Kuzma would know how we feel when he is not contributing to the team as expected. Give him at least a year in Lakers uniform and see how he will perform as he gain more experience. Time is very important for the Lakers, there's a high expectation on this team because they have Lebron and added Davis on the line up, if they will still not succeed, then for sure some players will be move and probably Kuzma will be included.

Another great performance by Tim Hardaway Jr. In Maverick's win against the Heat, Time scored 36 points, and most of the points are coming from 3 point area. He made 10 shots on his 18 attempts, that was huge, if he can keep that up, Dallas would be so unpredictable as they are good 3 point shooters. https://www.covers.com/sport/basketball/nba/boxscore/242776

Atleast a year? He already have long contract signed on the lakers and he keeps showing inconsistent numbers, maybe he really need to focus on his games since there's no doubt he have a bright future but if he keeps acting like that and cannot step up if there's no davis and bron in the line up well they are so far to win the champ.

Maybe he didn't have Lebron most of the way in this regular season because obviously, Lebron was injured. But for me Kuzma should really step up his game but this time, he already won a ring with AD and Lebron, played with one of the best point guard Rojon, so he should have absorb and learn from this veterans. I guess its a disappointment from Lakers to see him perform inconsistent in this season after they've given him a good contract.

I agree, this is a good chance for Tim Jr to really shine and help Luka since KP is somewhat injured again or not playing very consistently. This is a good win for them today as they beat a good team in Miami. Another thing you will love from Tim Jr is the way he play defense as well. In their last game against the Warriors, he really held Curry and the on the opposite side, he score. So he is now a good second option for Dallas specially when they enter the playoffs.

Although Luka is really exceptional I still believe that Mavericks is not a one-man team, they are successful because of their good teamwork, this team just needs to be healthy and they'll be a big threat to any team in the playoffs.

How about the Most Improved Player race discussion. Who's your pick? https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-most-improved-player-race-knicks-julius-randle-rockets-christian-wood-among-top-candidates-for-award/1. Julius Randle - PPG24.2 RPG10.3 BPG.25 2. Christian Wood - PPG21 RPG9.6 BPG1.17 3. Jerami Grant - PPG22.5 RPG4.6 BPG1.06 4. Michael Porter Jr. - PPG18.9 RPG7.5 BPG.98 5. Chris Boucher - PPG13.6 RPG6.7 BPG1.86 Michael Porter Jr. shined more after Murray was injured and his skills floated being a badass at 3 point line and helping Jokic with the rebounds. Jerami Grant, no questions he showed something different during the playoffs last year with the Nuggets. But of all this names, Julius Randle is on the spotlight. He is the one carrying the Knicks now and even put them back in the map for a playoffs chance. Even better, he helped seal it taking a nice spot at number 4 in the Eastern Conference. I think Randle will take this award this year.

It's nice to award the most improved player coming from the most improved team, and that team is undoubtedly the New York Knicks.

Can now take smaller guys inside and bigger guys anywhere on the court and stretch the floor. Even in his bad games he is getting all his teammates involved. They are playing as a complete team right now and it all starts with Randle. Couldn't imagine the noise in the garden with a full house in the playoffs. Been awhile lol

but we have to understand that Kuzma was a big contributor during the NBA Finals where Lakers won.
Game1 - 3 PTS / 22 MINS = Lakers win by 18 Game 2 - 11 PTS / 21 MINS = Lakers win by 10 Game 3 - 19 PTS / 23 MINS = Lakers lose by 11Game 4 - 9 PTS / 19 MINS = Lakers win by 6 Game 5 - 7 PTS / 22 MINS = Lakers lose by 3Game 6 - 2 PTS / 22 MINS = Lakers win by 13 Sorry but I don't know where's the part that Kuzma is a big contributor on the last year's NBA Finals. Anyways, just to be clear, we are not judging Kuzma here in a negative way. It's that just we noticed his "consistent inconsistency" throughout the 4 seasons of his career as a Lakers on which he should suppose to be in his prime.

Such player is impossible to be a second player on championship team. He is right now 6th player coming form the bench, but finishing games. He dont mind being 6th player, what tells us what kind of player he is. What was more important at yesterday game was great game of rookie Josh Green. He had 4 rebs, 3 assists and 3 steals, with +17. Carlisle never trust rookies much, so they develop very slowly. Hopefully he will give Green more chances. For next year after Olympic tournament and summer league, I am sure Green will get plenty of chances to play.

I get that Christian Wood improved a lot, and many other players did as well and kudos to all of them, however Julius Randle took a New York team that was nowhere near the top, a team that was destined for a high pick because they were a tanking team in everyone's mind, and now they are 4th in the east, that is incredible. Dude also won the player of the month award as well, I know other players are great in this award category but which one of them won player of the month award? This is why I think it is clear choice to pick Julius Randle here, he has the best chance, not only because he had a great stat line improvement, but he improved the team beyond what anyone imagined could happen as well, that is a very good scenario for a win. I think MVP is closed as well, Jokic is definitely the winner in my mind.

Just need to wait till the awarding and see if he'll get this recognition.

Knicks 3rd game on this 7 game road trip. 2-0 and tonight against the Nuggets. They need to keep rolling. I'd do everything to keep the ball out of jokics hands and take what you get from everyone else. Next up suns, clippers and Lakers so this one would be nice to have.

Not just Kristap Porzingis but Mavericks needs to have much better support for their main players. The talent of Luka is amazing at his age but he needs good players around him. I still don't see them as a Finals contender but I believed soon, they will be rebranded into Mavericks' 2011 championship roster and Luka will get his first ring. Too much to believe but everything is possible. In 2011, no one expects them to sweep the Lakers 4-0, only losing once against OKC 4-1 and defeating the Miami Heat's Big 3 at 4-2.

I agree, it's better if they've released Kuzma than Green. Well, I think he became like an ambassador and attached to the team name itself, Lakers. When you say Lakers, fans would remember him but not his performances.

When you say Lakers, fans would remember him but not his performances. We usually remember the bad performance of a player when the team was struggling, during the Finals last season, although the Lakers loss some games but we never thought they would lose in the series because they were a heavy favorite, and Heat was just a surprise. @harizen, nice stats.. that's a real argument with proof.

I don't know but LeBron kept bragging about Kuzma being one of the league's face in the future. But the main issue about him is his inconsistency. He could've stepped up when It matters most during the absence of their 2 best players. We'll he have stepped up and lead his team in points during that time, but they have struggled to win games. In fairness to him, I could say that he's not really a bad defender. He can actually guard tightly. His defensive presence is a good addition to win games, but then again his offensive inconsistency makes him looks like he's just a mediocre player.
