441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Are ETH's Biggest Competitors? on: March 15, 2018, 11:22:49 AM
ETH have known for being the second cryptocurrency next to bitcoin. It's popularity with its smart contracts attract other ICOs to make their own currency using the ERC-20 token standard of ETH's blockchain. Since i got here and have joined some campaign, i have seen another ICOs who are using NEO and WAVES platforms which i think they are one of the major competitors of ETH today.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What am I to do? on: March 15, 2018, 11:18:44 AM
Crashes and crisis in cryptos are just normal and you can check it for yourself about the history of bitcoin. That's how volatility of cryptos is taking effect as it falls down hard. The best thing you should do at this moment is to hodl.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the market recover? on: March 15, 2018, 11:09:49 AM
The market can recover anytime soon but that is still questionable if it can really fully recover before bitcoin crashes again. What i am focusing now is checking on bitcoin's market value and will buy the dip since bitcoin is facing another crash again.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: March 14, 2018, 03:34:14 PM
I both hold coins in exchange and wallets. Cause both have security it depends us how we carefull to our step to prevent getting our password so

Me, i only put or transfer my cryptocurrency asset when i need to trade it to bitcoin. Other than that, i am just keeping it to my Myetherwallet. As to security, that will always come from yourself because there is no perfect system at all.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain kill traditional banking? on: March 13, 2018, 03:30:42 AM
Banks will always be banks and it will remain even if cryptocurrencies are already dominating. It will just affect traditional banking in many ways but let's don't forget Ripple which is backed by big banks around the world.
In other words, banks are already embracing the blockchain technology and it will just make a new breed of banking which is a hybrid one.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long term vs. Short term on: March 13, 2018, 03:26:55 AM
Two different terms with different outcomes. As to short term, you can earn profit at a short period of time which is good if you are in a hurry to buy something. The other one is quite boring because of a long term investment but the result is way much better than the other one.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: March 13, 2018, 03:20:09 AM
Basically, it's the product that most investors are looking for because it's the backbone of the project. Having an ICO that has no product at all can attract less investors for thinking how the project will sustain without a product.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is NEO still worth investing in? on: March 13, 2018, 03:13:55 AM
NEO is still doing good in the sparkline and remains to be on top 10 in the list of cryptocurrencies with big market capitalization. It's also experiencing ups and downs lately but that's normal in every crypto. I believe it is till worth investing your money in for this crypto while you're also hodling.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: March 12, 2018, 07:44:00 AM
I don't usually participate in ICOs especially when it requires KYC for their bounty participants. I found it risky to send your personal information because of identity theft and it might be used in crimes in which your name will be involved.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you screen ICO projects, what do you look at? on: March 12, 2018, 07:20:38 AM
I usually go and check for the team first whether or not they are using real names an also check their background whether they have experienced already about IT and blockchain.  Second is the community involved on the project because the more participants join in , the better indication of an ICO that is likely to succeed.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: March 12, 2018, 07:12:06 AM
Well this is what the insightful Tone Vays claims...

He claims that ETH, DASH, shit 99.5% of all the ALTS are scams and the only coin that will survive is Bitcoin.

So l guess we should all sell our Alts now!

Anyone can say bad or good about cryptocurrencies in general and that's for free. That's the OP's opinion towards bitcoin and altcoins. But for me, my opinion is completely the opposite to his/her opinion. If all altcoins are scam, then how come they still exist today and earn profit from them?
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: March 12, 2018, 07:05:17 AM
Airdrop are the easiest way to earn free token without doing a lot. But so many airdrop didn't pay, so its better you take a deep look at the project or sign up as many as you could do.

That's what i also noticed from airdrops these days. Seems your time is wasted even if it is only free because you keep on waiting for nothing. So it's better to do bounty works because even if it's tiring sometimes, your endeavor will pay off.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? [A poll based on topic 2897311] on: March 11, 2018, 10:27:00 AM
Yes, and with no waste of time, i participate as many airdrops as i can. I don't care about wasting my time, effort, and gt scammed in the end because in the first place, i am never giving any donations or money out from my virtual and real wallet.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl or do I realize the loss? on: March 11, 2018, 10:18:18 AM
This is the very problem about altcoins that are newly listed in the cryptomarket since they are not yet tested (unlike bitcoin). It took about a month or couple of months to see its graph falls down because it is also the dumping period made by some investors and bounty hunters.

The decision is always yours and if you really feel that your calculations are right, then it's really time to move on.

455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RED color of all... on: March 11, 2018, 10:08:38 AM
What are you thinking about this situation? why all alts go down so fast? Is there any reason for it?

Write here, what you think or what you know, I'm expected for some facts from you, if you have them.

Welcome to cryptoworld! You describe the cryptoworld like Mars today because of its reddish color and that's normal because digital currencies are volatile in nature. You can see it in cool green color today and see it as bloody red tomorrow. Few reasons why this happens is because of corrections made in bitcoin, whales dumping their holdings, news and events, and people who are panic selling their bitcoin holdings. Since altcoins' market value has a pairing value with bitcoin, so basically altcoins will also goes down when bitcoin falls.
456  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to hit $3k ? on: March 11, 2018, 09:57:15 AM
Time to prepare my bag for some alternate coins that i have on my portfolio because the deeper bitcoin falls, the deeper altcoins' market value also falls. But it's hard expect things like that as we know that bitcoin is a total surprise where it can go the other way instead of going in to our expectations.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: March 11, 2018, 09:47:16 AM
Bitcoin has much more problems than altcoins. But it has very strong fanbase. So BTC price will always be higher than any other coin

Bitcoin is also the base coin of all digital currencies, the mainstream, and the king of cryptoworld so there's no question about that. But those altcoins on the radar in the likes of ETH, BCH, XRP, LTC, XMR, NEO, EOS, MIOTA, XLM are among of the elite altcoins with a bright future.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i am newbi so i am late or not to this field? on: March 11, 2018, 09:40:06 AM
All of us are newbie at some point. No one has become an expert immediately. Never too late for anything

I think what the OP is trying to imply here is about the time he/she knew about bitcoin where in fact it already exists last 2009 where bitcoin can be bought at less than a dollar each. That might've been a total gold mine if he/she already knew it early.
