Altcoins is the future of crypto. The use case of Bitcoin is no longer enough to sustain the whole crypto world.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long-term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for the real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure about eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the transaction fee and time problem, I doubteth and ltc even have a future.
I think everything has the same chance. Not only Bitcoin alone but Altcoin also can grow until the future. If it is always able to follow Altcoin era until the future. I am sure Altcoin is very useable in the future, both in investment and for transaction tools.

Yes it does, with bitcoin is more expensive now the altcoin will pump and will step up to their game to maintain their ranks in the market.

I believe altcoin has a future, and it all depends on every developer and team behind it. This has been proven by many investors who became rich by it. and newer altcoins appear, this is evidence that potential altcoin business in the future.

There is a whirlpool between bitcoin and altcoin indicating that the altcoin value is easily degraded for the evolution of bitcoin and eth. Some times bitcoin starts to show signs of speeding up, altcoin is the coins that is losing on price when it is boosting the deal. It's about value. But for the purpose of its use, it has practical implications for innovation. The problem here is that the user needs are balanced by having too many coin's have good performance. Then the growth of altcoin will slow down.

my friend is also one of them because he is an early investor of altcoins and now he is already wealthy because he manage to earn big by just trading alts , therfor i could say that alts do really have a potential to succed in the future. although bitcoin is more popular to be known as the future of money.

no it is not true. bitcoin doesnt hold the value of altcoins , some times bitcoin is decreasing but altcoins were still rising . There were also time that both of them are decreasing . Therfor there is nothing real relation between them.

Yes they do have future but we do not know what future will hold them up because this might depend on who person will run the ICO or the token or altcoin itself it can be a good future or maybe a bad future but still in the end they have future

There will be altcoins that can be useful in future even there is a lot of altcoins and tokens that has been released but ended up closing and value turn to $0  . I agree that ethereum will also make a future and I am one of believer that one day ETH can get the price of BTC as well but it doesnt mean that BTC will replace by ETH .

Every coin in crypto have a future bit it's future rely to the support of people through investment and advertisement. Altcoin have a future in crypto for its is already known to the people. It is effectively advertised and supported by many.

Not because they are alternatives you cannot see future in them or call them shitcoins. Well alternative coins have future also. I will give you a concrete example of good alternative coins. Look at Ethereum right now. It was once 20 usd if I am not mistaken last December 2016? And now, it is worth $230 now. See for just 9 months it became that much. But that is the price of Eth right now, last time I checked it was once 300 usd. But still, bitcoin is the king. It will stay in its throne for a long time.

the volume of money in the market is continuously decreasing. The crypto money market is very moving. new coins constantly coming out to the market. Some of them, of course, have no future.

I personally think some have a future. Most are just pump and dumps. XRP will most likely stay around as a transfer coin. If the marketplaces make a shift to a more anonymous coin monero will grow. I honestly have little faith in ETH after the recent hacks, but my opinion is not represented in the markets at all. I do think LTC is one to watch.

Altcoins in the top 10 or even up to 20 would be here to stay. They already have adapters and supporters that would not allow their coins to disappear. Unfortunately most altcoins would just hyped and dissolved from the blockchain slowly

Bitcoin has much more problems than altcoins. But it has very strong fanbase. So BTC price will always be higher than any other coin

I am sure that every coin has the right to be a future coin. but the problem is whether the coin is capable of being a future coin. so each coin must try hard for its progress. and among all the coins I think Ripple is capable of being a future coin.

I don't think i have the right to say about any altcoin's future.
But from what i see from the process of bitcoin development from the beginning till now, i would say any altcoin have the same probability to be success just like bit coin, because at first bitcoin also not as valueable as it today and it takes almost a decade to make it as it is today
