Could someone give me a hint how to setup miningrigrentals.com Pool in awesome miner?
I always get the following lines right after start:
ETH: Authorization failed: {"error":[20,"ClientPre-authorizationwasnotaccepted.",null],"id":2,"result":false}
I guess it might have something to do with the advanced pool settings, but although I tested a lot it did not work yet.
This is what I have as pool settings in "Pool Properties - General Tab":
Server URL: eu-de01.miningrigrentals.com:3344
Worker name: FlensGold.34305
Worker Password: x
Coin: Unspecified Ethereum
Wallet Address: (My BTC Address)
Automatic Kernel: ethash
On Miner Properties "Unspecifier / Multi-Algorithm" in combination with Claymore is selected. Dualmode is disabled.

It is working fine with other pools using Awesome Miner and it's only the combination of Miningrigrentals and Ethereum that is failing? I have not seen that error before, although I tested a lot of pools (including nicehash). But I must admit that I did not use extra settings beside on nicehash (-esm 3...). Another question: Are there plans for integrating zcash mining (Mining Software)? |

Welche Treiber-Version? Hatte ähnliche Probleme, habe dann den Treiber auf die aktuelle Version aktualisiert. Danach war Ruhe.
Halle, da habe ich inzwischen so ziemliche alle Versionen der letzten 1-2 Monate durch (inkl. 16.9-16.10). Auch etliche Windows Neuinstallationen - keine Chance. Das Fehlerbild tritt sogar auf direkt nach Windows Installation bei Initialisierung der Hardware (wo die Standard-Windows Treiber geladen werden). Ich stehe da vor einem Rätsel... Mich wundert vor allem, dass es scheinbar identische Karten sind. Die einen laufen problemlos, die anderen machen Probleme. Wäre es 1 Karte würde ich ja noch an einen Defekt der Karte denken. Aber gleich bei 2 Karten? |

Sagt mal, hat von euch auch zufällig seit kurzem ein Problem mit Windows 10 in Kombination mit mod. GPUs?
Ich habe mehr als ein Dutzend Sapphire RX480 Nitro+ (4GB) modifiziert mit demselben BIOS - alle laufen super.
Diese Woche erhalte ich 2 weitere dieser Karten, mit dem mod. BIOS erhalte ich nur Bluescreens (thread_stuck_in_device_driver). Mit dem Stock-BIOS läuft es.
Keine Ahnung was da los ist...

Is there a tutorial or something about how to configure pool/rig in order to mine with miningrigrentals or nicehash? I know that there are nicehash pools which can be imported, but only adding my BTC address does not work - Miningsoftware does stop right after start and I can not see any error messages. Thank you P.S.: I also tried the Awesome Profit Miner ( http://www.awesomeminer.com/guide/awesomeprofit.aspx) and followed the Guide. I assume as worker name my BTC address has to be used? However, after startup it looks like this for a few seconds...  ...and then the miner restarts :-( |

Sorry für die Noob Frage, aber es wäre toll wenn ihr mir kurz Auskunft gebt. Zu meiner Situation: Ich habe keine Stromkosten und möchte beginnen zu minen (mit ca. 1000 Wh). Kapital maximal 2000 €. Ich könnte nun 6 GPUs (ETH minen) oder eben einen (gebrauchten) Bitcoin-Miner kaufen. Da ich nach einiger Zeit alles wieder verkaufen will, wäre dies ein Pluspunkt für den Bitcoin-Miner, der sich wieder einfacher verkaufen lässt als 6 GPUs. Nur welche Cryptowährung empfehlt ihr mir zum minen in diesem Fall? Momentan beschweren sich ja viele hier im Forum wie unrentabel das Bitcoin Mining ist. Daher habe ich mich mehr mit ETC beschäftigt, wo ich weniger Leute fluchen höre (oder es wurde nur verschwiegen)  Ist es denn so das aktuell ETH rentabler zu minen ist als BTC? Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob nach einer gewissen Karten die GPUs im Verhältnis zum BTC Miner nicht wertvoller sind. während die GPUs ja meist noch zu nutzen sind lohnen sich BTC Miner nach einiger Zeit nur noch bei geringem / kostenlosen Strom. |

Was hat denn aktuell mehr als 8GB? Ich meine was an "handelsüblichen" GPUs?
Übrigens kommt meine 4gb Sapphire fast an die Werte der 8GB ran (27 MH/s vs 29MH/s bei gleichem Verbrauch / nach BIOS Mod.), preislich liegt aber einiges zwischen den Karten.
Oder was spricht noch so für die 8GB+?

Laufen bei euch 6 Karten stabil unter Windows 10? 4 sind kein Problem, alles danach ist Glückssache irgendwie :-(
Fehlerbild: "Der Zugriff auf die Grafikhardware wurde von einer Anwendung blockiert" gefolgt von einem Bluescreen :-(

Hello,
I have a problem uploading custom software. When I choose my files and select "Upload" it fails (Upload status: Upload failed).
Checking the log I can see this line: "29.09.2016 14:31:08.552 [014] [E]Service Request Failed
System.ServiceModel.CommunicationObjectAbortedException: Der Vorgang wurde beim Herstellen einer Verbindung mit net.tcp://192.168.2.158:9630/AM/SystemService abgebrochen."
Any idea how to solve this? The client is a Win10 Machine.

Word of warning for those who are planning to purchase branded systems, specially Dell or HP workstations, specially Xeon processor. My only 3 GPU's (RX 480) are consuming like ~70 Watts each according to the GPU-Z, of course that it's not the right number if we take the wattage of the whole GPU, but still let's consider like 150 Watts for the whole card, providing me 27 Mh/s, haven't done very much overclocking, just a bit. The system is consuming 400 Watts when not mining (in idle condition), and 800 Watts when mining. Meaning that GPU's are taking only 400 Watts and the remaining 400 Watts is being used by my Dell Precision T7500.  I'd not never suggest anyone to buy branded system, instead, build one. That should save lot's of power. Please keep in mind that efficiency of PSU is also important. If your PSU is not efficient it might pull more from the wall than others. I do not think that HP/Dell put highly efficient PSUs into their Workstations. |
