If you think Middlecoin sucks, or you're not happy with your returns, or you just think you could do better on your own, then go.  Find your crypto-coin chimera.  Stop wasting your time plotting little graphs, building spread sheets, and drawing little stick figures (yeah, I made that one up) and sally-forth.  Set sail into the great unknown and find your fortunes and may the wind be at your backs . . .

Funny thing, regardless of all the hysteria, I have more bitcoin today than I did yesterday and all I had to do is keep my computers running and connected . . . something I've been doing for a long, long time . . . for nothing.

Y'all just continue to run about, screaming, whining, complaining, threatening, accusing . . . and "just generally carrying on cranky.^*"  It's a lot more entertaining than a soap opera.

I don't know, maybe I'll be the guy turning out the lights, but I haven't completely given up on artos, yet.  I'll only note that, for all the hoopla and crowing, the TIPS mixing service remains not ready for prime-time.  It appears that in execution, the principle is not as simple as in theory.

Artos seemed quite confident that it was a relatively simple thing to do, yet here we are still awaiting word of a beta, and invisibel's system is still on IRC and they still appear to be stumbling around in the dark on that forum thread.

I see no reason to sell out now, and if the price drops more, I may pick up a few k more.  Even if TIPS works out, I'm not convinced that an SBC with a mixing service won't remain viable.

Profits are definitely going to be lower due to the Mt. Gox folderal.  That big 14% dip (ignoring the spike) took a chunk out of all the coins' values.  CoinWarz most profitable coin is only showing ~$10/mh/day  

Well, "matey," the rate of return varies all the time.  This last week, my average is about 0.011.  That's how this game goes, some days are up, some are down.  Bitching and moaning about it won't change it. 

Today, BTC dropped to its lowest level since the big crash, that means ALL coins are going to be down considerably today.  However, it promises that in the near term, growth opportunities will abound.

The daily returns are only marginally important, it's the overall average that wins the day.

Yeah, I have averaged only 0.018/mh/day for the past 19 days, what a ripoff! 

Good idea!  I suggest all of you know-it-alls start your own pool and show h2o how to do it.  Afterall, he's only been running the most successful, most profitable multipool around . . . you guys should school him . . . LOL!!!

I also applaud the suggestion that all of you whiners move your workers to another pool.  Great idea!!!

The rest of us will just sit here watching our balances grow from the generally excellent job h2o is doing and laugh at all of you who think they know how to run a pool better than him.

The problem lies with you.  You have unreal expectations, yet you expect everyone to meet them.  

There is a certain level of language that is accepted in normal internet INTERCOURSE, and while you may find some of them personally offensive, that is your problem, not the problem of those indulging in the use of those words you find objectionable.

Do I wish that the level of discourse on the internet was higher, but however much I may wish it, I don't expect others to conform to my wishes.  If it offends you and you are unable to ignore it, as most people do when something offends their sensibilities, then don't read the thread, or go elsewhere.

The most certain means of attracting foul and/or objectionable language or behavior in a universe as filled with socially inept, immature, isolated, nerds, like most of us (I include myself in that crowd), is to voice your objections to it.

Most people understand this fact and thus ignore whatever offends them rather than express their objections.

Oh yeah, BTW the word originally used, "banged," has far more common associations that have nothing to do with sex.  I suggest that your reaction implies the presence of your own personal demons and perversions.

The first thing I think of when I read of people being "banged," is that they are being hammered, pounded, physically struck, not that they are being "raped."

There is NOTHING on the Vertcoin webpage about any mixing service.  It may be a good coin and ASIC resistant, but no mixing AFIK.

Overall return just hasn't been that great this week.  I missed two payouts, because my balance was too low, so over 4 days @ 0.064 = 0.0114/mh/d.

Sort of an lower week,  I did, however lose half of my hashing power for a total of about 12 hours during that period, so that would give me a theoretical of 0.0129/mh/d.  That's a little below average for the rest of my experience here.

. . . but then, profits vary with coin prices, difficulties, etc. so unlike some of the unreasonable people here, I expect to get a variable rate of return.  This week not so great, next week better.  It's what rational people understand.

Heh!  Yeah, everyone of them "experts". . . "if only h2o would do what I say, then, THEN Middlecoin would be really fantastic."

Funny how none of these self-annointed "experts" never start their own pool.  Certainly with their superior knowledge and ideas, they would shut Middlecoin down simply due to the number of those currently mining on this pathetic pool instantly migrating to their much superior pool.
