NEW VERTCOIN DICE GAME

http://vert.greendice.cc

CHECK IT OUT!

Are you looking for idiots? 49% probability for doubling a coin? One will lose 0.02 VTC per every 1 VTC bet/roll. Better give me your VTC address and I'll send you all mine coins all at once.

Why would this site be a bad thing by default? Some people like the gamble, hence casino's are able to exist at all. Ofcourse in the end the casino always wins but there's always a chance the gambler comes out on top, that's the fun of it. At least this guy is trying to create some usefulness for the coin.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VTC] Vertcoin - Adaptive N-factor in Scrypt - No more ASICs on: February 06, 2014, 01:50:07 PM
There is a very real possibility that Vertcoin, with it's innovative features can overtake Bitcoin.
Bitcoin and Litecoin will drop in price while Vertcoin will rise, eventually surpassing Bitcoin entirely.

I will be writing an article about this possibility. Change must happen, Bitcoin and Litecoin are simply not secure enough to be considered a viable currency in the long run, there is massive hoarding in both.
Fortunately with only a little over 1,000,000 Bitcoin wallets being created, there is VERY little adoption, which gives Vertcoin a strong chance at contention.

The next step is MARKETING MARKETING MARKETING. I don't mean viral marketing, I mean real business oriented marketing. Vertcoin needs to be taken seriously

This. The value is set, now create some usefulness.

This message is for those among us who value my opinion.

This is about the dumbest money i have ever seen.

1. Cryptsy lists after vtc smashes almost every coin record in three weeks.

2. Mobs of traders bash cryptsy for slow processing of vtc, because even though vtc has been listed on coineduo for weeks, for some reason you just had to move it to cryptsy to sell it there instead.

3. Mobs of traders finally get cryptsy confirms and run over a self-induced cliff like a herd of lemmings in an orgy of self destruction.

4. Vtc gives up one lesa than one day of gains and the chorus of "oh kill me now, its over, dump vtc" rolls in whilst the market is up 10x from four days ago- at the lows.

5. Weak hands puke and go back to doge country.

6. Serious traders look at the performance of vtc sunce inception and begin buying long term holdings.

7. I laugh when we print .015 in a few hours or a few days and the lemmings start trying to crawl back up the cliff on the way to 20 and there are no sellers.

Rinse and repeat.

Don't be dumb money. I do not know the future but that there is just dumb money.

The worse thing that happened (with hindsight) was joining cryptsy, i thought it was going to be a good move, but no, a freakin disaster- short term anyway.

I've said this a few days ago here, i don't see why people are so eager to get a coin listed on cryptsy since it always ends up in a huge panic-selling fest in wich alot of people get burned.

It's however really hard to get people to listen :p
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VTC] Vertcoin - Adaptive N-factor in Scrypt - No more ASICs on: February 05, 2014, 10:49:52 PM
Im just pissed that im still so shit at this....ended up panic buying at 90 when everything was taking off.... Huh

i feel you

i wonder where the bottom is, gona move in with 0.1 or 0.2 soon  Cool

0.005/0.006 is probably going to be the bottom.

.005 was taken, when we had a fraction of the exposure.   This current dump is volumeless,  hardly any BTC buys us up past .01 again.

That's why i said that'd be the bottom.

People, do whatever you want but DON'T panic sell.
It's just a general market rule that when an asset/currency/stock rises significantly you will see a price correction. So unless you are a real market guru, in wich case you wouldn't be asking these questions here, the best thing to do is just to hold and ride with the market.

I'll say it once more, price corrections are normal.

You want to know the real reason the price is dropping?
---- > Cryptsy deposits went through.

If you look at cryptsy volume the dumb dumbs are about done panic selling fearing they missed the big party.
It has to happen. Price correction must happen.

Guess what will happen to the price tonight? And then again after dinner in China?
^^^^

If you thought you were crying when your deposit didn't show up last night.
If you just sold at 0.006 0.007 or 0.008 -- Tonight you will cry a lot more when it goes back towards 0.01.

I think that's a realistic assessment.

This. Like stated several times. HOLD, VTC is a long-term bet.

Hi there.

I do not have any technical knowledge on any of that but I do own a website. Ill be glad do accept Vertcoins.

I think this coin its very necessary for the sake of decentralized currency so you can count on me to spread the word too.

Cheers

Hi mega,

That's great to hear, if i may ask, what kind of site do you own? It'd be great if you started accepting VTC Smiley

On a side note, received the first donation to get the fund going. Thnx mr. anonymous
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VTC] Vertcoin - Adaptive N-factor in Scrypt - No more ASICs on: February 05, 2014, 04:08:48 PM
My common sense says that since Vertcoin is better than Litecoin, it will eventually have a higher market cap than Litecoin, which means this is only the beginning of the value increase. Are there any flaws in such thinking?
This will never happen since ltc and btc are the only 2 coins which have massive support. VTC, like many other new coins, is just a temporary coin to earn (or lose) quick money.

Bullshit, VTC is quickly gaining support and a lot of big players are buying in even at these prices. The only thing VTC would need right now is places to actually use them.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [NEM] ---NEM stake complaint, questions etc.--- on: February 05, 2014, 04:07:32 PM
Post here if you have complaints, questions or appeals about your NEM stakeholder's status.

Main registration thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=440185.0
Stakeholder list is here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlidWok7hW0DdDZ0amZpM00wQXhrR2lJM3pCOGRhNFE#gid=0 ; so please read it carefully first.

the ultimate proof for your stakeholder's status is your transaction to NEM's account and the proof that you owns the sending address of that transaction. So don't worry if you did send your money to join NEM but has not yet appear in the list because we will make it right in the end. But be patient when we work things out.

UP

The people from thread 2 aren't intented to be on the list yet right?

Fastpow, you got hacked?

Edit:That address in your sig is your personal one?

I did yes, someone managed to acces my cryptsy acc right after they got comfirmed at cryptsy while i was asleep. Deposit took me too long so i went to sleep, only to way up and see everything gone and the BTC transferred to a random BTC adress.

The adres in my sig is not my personal adres, it's for marketing and promotion purposes Smiley
