441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear markets are a time for building, development and research on: May 30, 2022, 08:26:06 PM
Well said, there are potentially good investing opportunities in newly launched alternatives projects but choosing best one is not easy for investing main part of your capital. Taking into consideration current bear market cycle, it can go longer than few years as you mentioned so investors should be able aware of potential time based risks before making final decision. One thing to remember, never get in Hype train on meme coins and invest based on opinion of social media speculators.
442  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 30, 2022, 07:40:14 PM
Almost 3 days and site still lagging, the lag now much worse on Pragmatic slots than lag in Drake's streaming hours. Casino players somehow can handle lag but for sports bettor it is not acceptable. Imagine trying to cashout bet after goal on yesterday's final match and Stake doesn't load sports section at all.
True and I feel after that Drake stream the players have increased suddenly and seemingly stake wasn't just ready to welcome so many new members and their servers are having issues. It's similar to how to forum goes down almost every week when the stream is about to start because some 500 people are trying to access the forum at the same time and post their comments.

I am not that much of a slots person although I do give a few spins occasionally but for sports betting it has been quite laggy. The French open I was trying to bet that day and bet placement time is itself taking 10-15 seconds and on top, the lag made it almost impossible for me to know if the bet was placed or not. I had to refresh a few times to find out ok it was placed and lost as well (Game winner so bet settles quickly).
Probably there are thousands of affected users during lag, casino players can't chase live games, crash, slide and sports users can't even cashout or hedge their bets. Pragmatic slot provider was down for few hours yesterday night, I get the result of Gates bonus round after 2 hours when everything back to normal.  No idea why Stake don't fix the known issues since there are bigger websites around that handle triple of traffic what Stake servers load on average day.

One things, even the site is down you're not losing anything! it's a gambling site not exchange while you lose momentum.

Players may lose good moment if the site down because Stake is not only offering casino games, there is sports betting too.
In sports betting, there are features such as live betting, cash out, etc.
Imagine you placed some bets and you want to cash out earlier because a reason (can be profit or can be to minimize lose), or you want to do live bet because you see there is a great chance to make profit but you cant do it all because the sports betting is down.
I was in the situation yesterday when the sports betting was down, if you know live betting or cash out while the match is still on going then you should have known how it feels as players.
As I said previously, there are so many players were complaining in chat because of the sports betting was down while the game (UCL final) is still running.

444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Session That Lingers On Or Keep Staying On your Mind on: May 27, 2022, 09:32:44 PM
Anyone experienced or suffered from this, whether from winning or from losing where a particular gambling session keeps staying in your mind and you'll having sleeplessness thinking about that particular session over and over again, the same bet keeps repeating over and over again and you keep asking yourself what if you do the opposite.
I'm glad I overcome this and I see to it now that whenever I'm login off to casinos I'm playing I will not think about it whether I lose or win.

Yeah this often happens regularly when you make a big bet.
And if I just lose the bet, then the bet haunts me down making the night sleepless for me.
And whenever the bet I placed, I won, my night passes by thinking whether I should have placed more bets on that same game or not.
This is not a disease but a common anxiety that is often seen in every person.
When you love a thing very much and place it in a bet, then it’s common that your heart and mind won’t feel great.
Here the loved thing is the hard earned money.
So yes gaming sessions always lingers on and keep staying on atleast my mind.
Once my gambler friend explained why gambling doesn't takes your money only, it takes dignity, health, time from hard gamblers who keep gambling all day. It is commonly mental hole in our minds since we can't think anything else except our loses or we should chase big win for recovery or should cashed out at this point, etc.  When you lose profit it is somehow acceptable but being in lose streak for months can be dangerous for weak personality, IMHO.

Thanks for yesterday's giveaway, Stake vs Drake!
Lucky winners from Brazil and Canada got $50k tips by Drake, looks like winners were pre-selected since only few cardboard were available to choose. Anyways enjoyed stream, looking forward for next one! 🙂
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Steps To Avoid Losses In Trading. on: May 23, 2022, 09:49:13 PM
The main thing that I would advise you to devote enough time to is training. In my opinion, this aspect is extremely important and clearly requires preparation and work on the result.

This is really what most of us need and also add patience because you know whether you devote time to learning things, without patience, you ca last long and not be able to trade well. Trading is mostly about your emotions. If you know how to handle it, then that is good because some of us are really emotional when it comes to trading. That is why they lose because they take trades that they shouldn't and the strategy hasn't met yet. Knowledge is power, and trading losses teach you to take the time to understand what you did and why you lost that trade.
Patience and having experience help to get the point you wanna see yourself as a trader. The 5 years of screen time on charts makes you an average trader and pro trader requirements can easily go over the mentioned period. Successful traders know what they are doing because all parts of financial markets have similar working mechanisms. Emotional control can save your day since someone who can't control himself can lose in a day the profit that accumulated in a few weeks.

It has happened few times during last year, plinko seed was so bad even after dropping over 100k balls on $0.5 bet size. The average hitting ratio is 1:32k for 1000x plinko while I have gone over 100k nonce in a day. Not much trouble to sleep but catching that 1000x was on my mind so I didn't want to do anything else except keep thinking about it.
Generally, giving up at any point is better than chasing your losses since there is no guarantee user will be able to recover.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you live through the last bear market ? If so, what did you learn ? on: May 22, 2022, 09:47:09 PM
What we can expect? My prediction is simple, the market has to hit dip points and whenever everyone thinks it is not going to recover, it is the perfect time to invest. For BTC, hitting the $20k target first and then going back to $15k will be a dead zone for future margin traders and smart traders will long the top cryptocurrency at these levels. It is not late to go for it but chasing losses and adding more margin is not a way to trade, generally. Altcoins also will follow the price movement of BTC and the alt marketcap will go up along with lower BTC dominance, IMHO.

Did anyone took advantage of ADA deposit promo?  There was a promo for single deposit over 100 Cardano for getting 3 silver chests.
Used promo and got worst rewards on chest then busted deposit 😁

IP limited error again, each 30 minutes black screen appears on both mobile and PC, both networks are different. Weird, looks like Stake aggressively blocking innocent user's IP addresses to protect website after DDOS attacks. Looks like DDOS attack has costed more than expected for Stake devs so they limited all possible threats even for the average users who use API calls everyday. Something is wrong at the end of Stake servers, now we need additional verification for getting second API request.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your epic fail experience in gambling on: May 16, 2022, 08:52:46 PM
My worst nightmare was losing $20k in a day, there was no single bonus in 6k spins on Pragmatic slots. Increasing bet size on each 1000 spins level was not a good idea and I was faced with the harsh reality of gambling after that day, never ever going to chase the losses. I can feel your pain since we have experienced such swings on daily loss streaks, sticking to same bet size and not chasing loss are main points to protect bankroll that can be used another day to play. Epic fails usually happens due to negative house edge, we have to find the zero house edge casino for not going into deep.
Man, that's a huge money that I can't probably reach to use in gambling since I'm the type that won't allow such to happen. There are really people that have more painful experience than the others.
Losing that much in a day was totally a big frustration for sure and there are people that have lost more than yours and still, they're trying to chase those losses that they've made.
Epic fail experience of mine is also the same as everyone's experience of losing money that have won within a week.
Unfortunately, controlling emotions doesn't work as usual especially when you lose faster than third confirmation notification for deposit after ripping that depo 🙂
BTW, I have won over 65% of that amount in same website I have used to gamble. Later I took a self exclusion option and didn't deposit for few weeks. Chasing losses can lead to unfortunate situations that there is no way back that you can stop the urge to do so. Anyways, everything is possible in gambling industry, there are lucky gamblers who made $10 out of $3 tip. You never know what will happen next in unpredictable games/slots, it can pay max win on first spin or can go dead streak all day.

My IP got limited yesterday and even VPN doesn't work. Is there any problems loading stake? I can see posts on Stake forum but website and mirror links don't work at all.

i also had the same problem:

and had to email support and in less than 5 minutes they solved my problem and i must thank the support once again for responding very quickly and solving my problem very quickly

PS: I don't use VPN
Mate, I have emailed support team but they refused to help. No idea why they keep repeating same things, I have cleared cache 5 times and restarted the router like 10 times no luck. The same IP rate limit error keeps happening, the support has no clue how to solve it. Gladly, someone figured out the way to solve the rate limit issue.

For now 400$ is minimum required to run a normal life in my country.Unless you are from the poor country. You won’t face such a difficulties. In a poor country life Zimbabwe or Africa,100$ will be enough to run a normal life for a month. This including the country like Bangladesh,Indonesia.Rest of the nation people are facing huge economic crisis on this time.
I don't like this comparison, it is like telling billionaire why you bought last model of Bugatti while there are children on Africa starving...
The money belongs to user and he may gained that kinda bankroll just with gambling. In the long run, the ending will be same for majority of gamblers no matter what bankroll or bet size they prefer to gamble.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 14, 2022, 09:59:03 PM
That's why you have to learn how to manage your own money. Just make a portion out of the total money you have like 50% save and the rest 50% will be divided among the choices you want like gambling, purchasing something or whatever you want with it. So when you started your bet at $3 then you still have money left even though you started to bet until $98 but still it's just a portion of your total money you have and you are just not lucky at the moment.
It doesn't work like that, gambler gonna find a way to get coins for addiction or to chase losses. Accepting loss is first part to be profitable gambler in the long run, the more you feel urge to deposit the chances will decrease to recover. Being lucky and spending only small percentage of salary can help but for addicted users it is not possible, unfortunately. There are many threads related to mentioned factor.
456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler turns 60 pounds bet into £157,865.59 on: May 09, 2022, 09:59:27 PM
That just proves that gambling isn't just about luck, good thinking analysis and skills also matters. But i won't deny that this gambler has also the best of luck since predicting all these results correctly are very rare to happen. I guess in gambling, its not always the house wins. Sometimes, when a gambler has his own unique instinct to win, he will do more than luck just to prove he's something more than that.
I think it is only luck. See they mentioned he kept on doing it for last 20 years.
But I am not sure how many attempts he have made in real to win the bet. But on a side note - congrats to the winner. Hope he keeps his money save and don't loose in other bets.
Generally, gambling is all about luck but there are exceptions for some lucky gamblers. There are few gamblers aka high rollers in the Stake sports community, these users are able to hit the highest multi of the month a few times in a year. Last time one user won over $20k with a $5 bet and has seen dozens of winning odds over 5000x. Instinct is the main controller in such cases, these users keep tracking each league, team, and player and hunt for the biggest odds on each event. Having one winning bet slip covers all possible losses plus profit and possible promo money.
457  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: May 09, 2022, 09:14:09 PM
Gamdom is indeed no control with ut because the slot provider is the one who set's it. You should redirect your concern on slot provider support instead to gamdom since you have problem with there software limit.

The center here is the deposit here but the casino contributor is here so there should be a paid casino if there is any problem with the provider from here then the casino here should be relaxed from here but the users here have the casino of the service provider a service offer and  There is nothing wrong with many failing here but there is no need to pay due to the mistake of the provider
I am not full aware of case since Gamdom team didn't make any comment but all I know it is possible to change backend settings on user end. Casino accepts bet or refuses to pay is next step on such cases, btw such interventions have been happened and again I don't accuse anyone changing slot settings. Just my personal opinion.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Still Supporting And Playing On Newly Launch Casinos on: May 02, 2022, 09:59:08 PM
Today we have an example of how new casinos attract new users. So my answer is yes, I like to enjoy the welcome bonus of new casinos.
In this case, I do not like that Wizary Casino requires a phone number to register, but they support inform that they will convert it to email verification.
However, a welcome bonus in the form of: free spins - you can win a maximum of $100, but to be able to withdraw your winnings you need to deposit a minimum of$ 25 and x5 wagering.

Wizary.com - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5396983.0

I like such invitations
That's the rule they have and you have to recognize that before deciding on playing there with those bonuses.
If lucky enough to get that bonus and you're able to win with $100 then you should comply with their rules if you want to get that bonus. Such a wagering requirement is really needed for them to at least distribute you what you've won.
And don't forget the risks of leaking personal information in case of getting lucky and send manual withdrawal request..
Sometimes it worth to give a shot casino bonuses for fun and trying your luck but it is bad decision in the long run for mentioned reasons. Let's say you made $10k out of $30 bonus but you are supposed to wager x50 and verify account before withdrawal in most cases.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ever heard of this "buy at dip and be rich in the future" on: May 02, 2022, 09:29:12 PM
The gold rule is to buy low, sell high and you have done it in the right way. It is not your fault if the market keeps going down every day, the market has no dip point because charts are processed with the demand/supply based on human nature. If you don't want to wait for altcoin season, just go futures and sell any coin for the future perspective based on your assumptions. Otherwise, wait for the dip point and invest more when it goes below your support line on charts.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: May 02, 2022, 09:14:58 PM
Someone who is wealthy and has a million in his bank account might have found it a fun experience and had some fun with that 20k. However, there are also players who have 21k in the bank account and then gamble all 21 completely. Then you are also a high roller, but I think it will remain a one-off adventure. High rollers gambling profitably seem surreal to me or they are inconspicuous. Then you could still do good business with high stakes poker.

The problem for those who have millions in their account and want to enjoy (adrenaline) from gambling is that in order to get this adrenaline they have to bet sensitive amounts. Just as you won't worry about a one cent bet, they won't worry about a bet that seems huge to us. Therefore, it can be said that if high rollers decide to enjoy gambling, they risk amounts that are sensitive to them.

There is a certain tendency for the great apostators, in the threads of some casinos I have realized that those players who have millionaire profits bet only in slots, I think that they have in their mind that the slots are the best option to earn large amounts of money . When we play Poker or Black Jack, even any game like Crash, the profits are somewhat predictive, unless you play in Crash betting a 5x, 10x and yes, it is likely to win, but it is the only way.

In the slots there are many options, suddenly a 6x comes out or a combination is made and then a 6x is made then the profits are very large, even with little balance you can give great profits, and if a player bets $3k, $4K , the profits are millionaire, I think they are based on those characteristics to be able to play and win.
It is called variance, the more you play the higher variance you will be able to test depending on return to player ratio. In house games like crash, dice, Plinko, limbo the target is chosen by a player while in slots bonus round can go insane like 300kx or just 10x depending on your luck. We don't have control over slot RTP so streamers keep playing with huge amounts thanks to a generous marketing budget funding their addiction. Surely we can't afford such high bet amounts but almost same multipliers can be found on our gameplay during slot sessions.
