1201  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Play Smarter 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: January 25, 2021, 10:46:35 PM
Stake is HORRIBLE for Table Tennis betting, the scores on the scoreboard are always different. I had a 900$ bet, placed it when score and odds showing incorrectly but I only noticed afterwards after checking on another website. Raised my concern to the staff. Bet not refunded and nothing done to refund me. Casino is good but...

AVOID SPORTSBOOK.

I don't know who's at fault for this bet but the Stake team will never confiscate the winnings with such dirty methods. Maybe the DDOS attack has caused such consequences since the stake and its mirror website is under heavy DDOS attack. Sometimes 30k online users appear on the chat section and the auto bet function suddenly stops. It is annoying but Eddie said the problem will be solved soon since the attackers look for 500 bucks, AFAIK.
1202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: January 25, 2021, 10:21:44 PM
You guys have tried new Pragmatic released slots? I have checked the payout odds and volatility on Sotcatalog and it worth giving it a shot. Btw, any other alternative website for checking the real RTP? For example, book of Vikings and Clash slots.

What I do not like about this slot is that it is too slow slot (no quick/fast spin mode) unlike the other PnG games.
I'll give you one important tip for new PnG slots (after Nov/Dec release AFAIK): You can press the space key (or click the spin button), do not release it for a few seconds to activate the turbo modeGrin It's similar to fast spin mode.
You can alternate fast/slow spin easier this way, but yeah, I still prefer the old fast spin mode.

30k max multiplier is hardcore, but it is still worth spending like 100 spins there. I mean, who knows?
I knew this feature on PnG slots, thanks for reminding me again. The quick spin function is also available in the settings section but for whatever reason, the quick spin function will be disabled if the slot goes to the bonus round on PlayGo slots.

<snip>
I used VPN recently to joined a contest here for Roobet. I used a VPN service to be able to access slot games from a particular provider which isn't allowed from my region. So far, I experienced no issue, I'm still doing it whenever joining contests, sometimes even there's no contest I use them so I could play my favorite slots.
<snip>
Maybe you can still participate in the contest using a VPN.
Actually, just right exactly what I said, the first and main reason  why I used VPN is to be able to play the provider's slot games that has been announced by the contest manager sir Hhampuz, we asked and we were allowed to use. Suggestion is to use paid VPN services to avoid future issues.
Using VPN for unlocking the location-based restrictions is not a bad idea but has some downsides. First, the VPN companies share the same IP pool for all users and this can cause a permanent ban on providers/websites/services. Maybe one user has abused the promos of Roobet with the same IP address which you use and the same restrictions will be a problem on your future withdrawals. Just my 2 cents.
When your location is restricted and you use VPN, it's not a correct from the very beginning (but it's okay, why did they restrict gambling? Cheesy)
In order to get rid of promotion abuse marks, more than two account marks, etc. You have to use VPN with dedicated IP and then you can feel free from any problems. Dedicated IP means that it's unique address only for you and no one uses it except you + it doesn't look suspicious everytime you login in your account (because on shared VPN, IP changes everytime and that turns an alarm).
I agree with you, the dedicated IP wouldn't affect the gambling experience. I doubt many gamblers will go to the VPN comparison websites and find a better service with high feedback. Then pay with anonymous payment methods and ask from support for a dedicated IP/server. The shortcut is easy compared to mentioned steps, they go for the online listed free proxies and the previous problem will turn to snowball if the process gets worse.
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: January 25, 2021, 09:31:26 PM
You would learn things with experience and to those things that you had believed in the past and it would really be proven out on actual experience or situation.

1.01 doesn't really mean 100% chance of winning and I do see that even with this odds do still lose and that really indicates that nothing is really a sure win.

We cant really just deny that we do make out some presumptions and analysis with just seeing the odds. Favorite are always in favored to win but not all the times
and you will see that if you do go ahead with your sports betting journey.
Favorites often lose, despite the fact that odds for them are almost always low. And betting on odds like 1.01 - 1.10 is very unreasonable, because in this way you simply reduce the bookmaker's risks and increase them for yourself. You need to try to bets on a odds of 2, this will increase your chances at the distance, provided that the percentage of winning bets will be greater than losing ones.

Actually 1.10 is really low, I'm not taking that kind of low odds anymore, I've experimented betting on low odds in the past, even combine them through parlay and it does not work. Just think logically, bookmakers knows what they are doing, they won't offer an odds that will easily give bettors a win, most odds are really tempting and that result to most of us make a wrong decision in picking as we all love to bet on the favorites.
There is a logical reason why odds change happen so frequently, the lower odds have a higher chance of a win. But the single loss on low odds event will force the gambler to repeat the same bet on a similar event 10 times in order to reach the break-even point. The average odd should be higher than 1.37 for winning big and restricting yourself from betting on low odds addiction. Once the gambler goes all-in with low odds, he will not stop until bursting the gambling bankroll.

1206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that a new ATH is coming or a crash? on: January 25, 2021, 08:31:45 PM
The recovery phase will blow out the market and the price can retouch $30k again. No matter how hard bears will push it down price will rebound and swim around $38-$45k levels on the next quarter of the current year. The traders should take new positions carefully because the flash market movement can be dangerous due to the enormous slippery on illiquid market orders.

Yes, Because according to some researchers, the signs which ATH always develop before it increase in the market, are showing gradually in the market. ATH price will definitely improve in this year 2021 as never before because many customers are waiting to make a good profit from their Investment.
Researchers always have something to say, never believe the greedy investment researchers. If something is free and you can't find the reason why it is cheap then the product is you or your financial assets. The same group of researchers also predicted the $100k ATH for the end of last year but the BTC traders never traded the BTC around the mentioned price levels. It is just a cat-mouse game, you choose which one you wanna be..
1207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: January 24, 2021, 10:58:58 PM
The best R:R ratio was on the last bull market which happened during the 2017-18 market season, I have made a nice amount and move to another city. The best part of online trading is to be able to travel while making money with the laptop but there are many disadvantages of this "profession". The profit and loss ratio can not stay forever in the comfort zone, so better to cash out losses quickly and let the winners go.

Things are going back to March 13, 2020, the second day of the 312 crash. I personally watched Bitcoin fall to 3,800 U.S. dollars, which is a few hundred U.S. dollars per second. I was shocked, because in my trading history , I’ve never seen the btc so low before, not to mention that there are only two months left before the 512 reduction
The start of 2020 was a year of panic for all bitcoin owners, as they were devastated to see bitcoin drop below $ 5k. but now bitcoin has bounced back and is at a price above $ 30k this is very surprising and this might be an impressive bitcoin journey so far,
Therefore, when you have a lot of money when the price of bitcoin is still cheap, like what happened a few months ago when the price of bitcoin touched a price below $ 6,000 it is the best opportunity to buy a very large amount of bitcoin, whereas the current price of bitcoin it's too expensive so this is not the right time to get into bitcoin, wait until the price collapses to buy bitcoin again.
For rich guys, it is never early or late. Change the perspective and look at the market out of the box. There is no high or low price and there is no cheap/expensive price also. The big hedge funds and rich retail investors can buy the same quantities around $45k price and wait for the next tripled price in order to make the same profit with buying at $6k and selling $40k plus.
1208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Quantity of Altcoins to buy? on: January 24, 2021, 10:45:03 PM
Hi  I am spending a ton of time reading, watching and asking questions to those who know.

But one question I have in mind is: Let's say you identify an altcoin you want to buy, let's say Tron..... Currently 2p a coin.

What would people normally spend on this coin? Obviously as many as you can in case it shoots up to £10 a coin... But just keen to understand how people think / buy.

Would you spend £20 or £100. Or does it depend on your overall goal short term or long term?

Any input welcome.   Cool
It depends on the budget and trading goals, for the long term investing buying in large quantities will save the year. Otherwise, it is as same as gambling in the short term, even spending $20 on 2 cent altcoin is small considering how deadly the new projects can be after getting listed on big markets.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling All BTC for ETH this Bull Run on: January 24, 2021, 10:19:17 PM
Not recommended, sooner or later the ETH price will go back to under $1000. Maybe next month, maybe tomorrow who knows... The sure thing is the price is in the overbought zone and the dead zones of the market will appear soon. The ETH can stay as a king of the season for a long time but you guys will never realize the profit due to greed. Greed will not make anyone rich if the investors go with mentalities like "sky is the limit"..

I have heard that some high net worth individuals are unloading all their BTC for ETH.

Reason Being is ETH tends to outperform BTC in Returns in Bull Runs for example in 2017 and 2020. And with ETH recently making a new ATH in USD feels very bullish and looks it may do the same on ETH/BTC pair.

However after the the run or when they feel the top is in they will return the Ethereum back into BTC and hodl.

Do you think its a good idea to hold more ETH than BTC rn?

no i think this is not a good idea, better to hold your bitcoin or maybe if you want to increase your ethereum amount
you can sell a half of your bitcoin, but i think its better if you buy not only ethereum buddy, but you can add more alt in your portofolio such as polkadot or cardano
I prefer this option and it is better to go all-in-a single altcoin, especially if the price has tripled during the same quarter. Patience is the key in investing and buying the top altcoins is safer than investing in the nonpopular altcoins. I had did the same investment strategies during the 2017 bull season and it has worked like a charm. The low marketcap altcoins can give a huge profit if the right techniques are used by the trader/investor. Otherwise, the total loss of the wrongly chosen altcoins will be equal to the total profit of the right altcoins.

How to hide the damn <maxbet> feature on the Roobet account? Accidental click has sucked up whole balance faster than the blink of an eye Angry

Some guys asked mobile/tablet/pc platforms I use but the question itself is very clear. There is no way to hide or turn off the max bet function and it causes big red on the account statement if clicked accidentally. The crash and Tower bet games can be real frustration if the gambler has a better whole balance on a single bet. Maybe someone can enlighten me.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: You can lose transfering and withdrawing on: January 24, 2021, 09:30:09 PM
You can lose profit sending trading and withdrawing if you are trading a small amount I have $50 worth of Ferum or FRM it will take $6 to send the whole amount to Bilaxy and after you trade it to Eth and wants to withdraw it you will have to spend $12 to withdraw your Eth,
now that's $18 gas fees for your $50, my only option is to trade it to other altcoins like DGB or Litecoin which offer $4 to $5 fee you still going to lose $11, that's over 20%.
So just be smart and use the best possible option and share your best knowledge/experience with the rest of the crypto community. The minimum withdrawal fees vary depending on the website, the best choice is to use either XRP or LTC for faster, cheaper transactions on both way. Using BTC or token will be costly and you will lose more in the long term.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tips to find new gem on: January 24, 2021, 09:13:39 PM
Risky investments will cause a deep negative ambiance around the new altcoins if you have no enough experience in the respective field. Buying the new altcoins is the profession of hunters who know when and how much should they invest. The flash bust is possible if the incorrect money management techniques are applied by the noob trader.

hey folks, i'm new in crypto and want learn more about this. As BTC has already pump a lot i'm trying to find a new gem with a low marketcap which can have a decent run in the following years. I can read sometimes some people picked some coins and did a lot of profit, and i was wondering how they can do to detect a coin with a lot of potentiel. I started to search but to be honest i don't know where to start. I was wondering if some people could share their experiences and how to be able to detect a coin Smiley

start with the site, i think a good and potential project will have an unique site template wich mean will be different with the others
then i will go to their team and read carefully the whitepaper, because all informations will show up in the whitepaper and the project will grow or not is depends on their team
Another good strategy is instead of looking for reason to invest in a project you should go with the idea of looking for reasons to not invest in it, this may sound weird but it is the correct way to proceed, this way if you find anything wrong with the project instead of just passing over it as most people do you will simply avoid investing in it, this is a great way to avoid scams as if you do your due diligence and you investigate the team on your own you are sure to find that they are fake and avoid investing in the project.
The best way to explain how to choose the right altcoin for profitable investment. If you know what not to do, you will find what to do very easily. Some will get it while other traders will rush to buy all useless altcoins for the alt season. Dead altcoins will be pump-dump material for big boys and it is all luck to sell it at the right time when the pump happens. No difference from gambling, I prefer to go all-in red on Roulette Cheesy
1213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 24, 2021, 08:52:01 PM
The answer is yes, of course. I've seen a lot of people who become rich because they do trading after they retire from their work they focus in trading, some of them make trading as their way of living, but keep in mind that this might get you rekt as well, you can win and you may lose as well, you just need to be prepared so whatever may happens even though you lose some it would not make you fall into deficit and would not make you poor.
I can make anyone millionaire if that person has billions, the logic in trading is easy and straightforward: to maximize the profit and increasing the r/r with compound interest. Big boys aka hedge funds will never get poorer for the exact mentioned reasons.

not as easy as imagined to get rich from trading. now we have to see the real thing if to become a professional trader must be smart, and skill must be good. without it nothing will happen because trading is a mystery where price movements are unpredictable and always change in every second. so the analysis needed to get rich from trading
That is the problem, those that imagine themselves making a fortune in trading never imagine all the hard work that they will need to put into it because they think it is easy, and as we know making money in trading can be incredibly hard especially when the market moves abruptly from one direction to the other as it does not give you time to react and place orders with enough speed, so while becoming rich with trading is possible the majority of traders will not make any money in the markets.
The vast majority think only about making money, they don't care about money management and margin adjustment. The market can be fast sometimes and newbie luck can work on these times but sooner or later the luck will drain the energy of the trader and he will start to trade with logic. If the person has not related trading experience in this field, it will be his last trade on a specific market...
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: January 23, 2021, 09:58:08 PM
The main focus should be only about buying quality project shares aka tokens, the loss is the best way to understand how the new projects are going to scam anyone. Before checking the profit/loss ratio, understanding the market risks will clear so many questions about the investment. No preparation about the market risks can make everything difficult and differently.

Currently, if you want to buy any altcoin, it is very difficult. You can't choose an option quite easily. Also, the crypto market is currently volatile. In such circumstances if one wants to buy altcoin. So what should be the main focus?
Before buying altcoins, we should do some research first on the altcoins we want to buy, because the decision to choose or buy altcoins is quite complicated, especially because altcoins now have many types, what must be considered is the volatility of each coin, it is better if we also look at history to the altcoin price analysis. We can also follow the official altcoin website so that if there is the latest development of altcoin, of course we can take a stand to buy, hold or sell later and knowing the altcoin background is very important to determine which altcoin we want to invest in in my opinion.
Unfortunately, the working mechanism of investing in the altcoins have been destroyed by the market makers. The greedy exchanges make money by taking a money from teams and listing the token of the projects. If the token trading value and total interest go down after getting listed on that exchange, they will send batch emails to investors to sell or withdraw the tokens. Of course, it will late to sell the dumped tokens and this is how they scam us.
1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin I should investmen with 5k dollars? on: January 23, 2021, 09:26:30 PM
With 5k usd, you can buy a nice altcoin portfolio but you have to be careful with market volatility. Otherwise, being on wrong side can hurt you and the mistake will suck up all juice from your trading account. Buy low marketcap altcoins and forget the rest. Investing in the low marketcap altcoins can make anyone rich with right applied math and making correct predictions, it is just a guessing game. Some lose balance while others make a ton of money. Overall trading is zero-sum game.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin pump and dump on: January 22, 2021, 11:30:59 PM
Pumps and dumps are part of the market movement, we need to get used to living with it. Sometimes it can be to our advantage, sometimes it is bad for our underwater trades. Low marketcap altcoins have a better advantage for our trade profitability, otherwise, it is waste of time.
In the present moment pump and dump is a buzz word in the block chain cryptocurrency market. Because main reasons are the unpredictable volume of BTC and XRP. A few months back BTC started has pumped and XRP has started falling down. If there was a pump and dump group then it would be better for crypto lover.
When I see pump and dump firsr what comes to my mind is some low volume token not btc eth or some other. Bigger cryptocurrencies depend from a lot of factors. Most of them are about daily news, new president, new regulation, pandemic etc. Its not just simple pump and dump theory.

The occurrence of Pump has its own reasons, as well as dump, the reason is in fundamental factors and TA,
do you know about the reason DUMP is happening in altcoins nowadays? because the price of Bitcoin also experienced a DUMP then the altcoins followed,
but fundamental factors reinforced support and made the bounce in the altcoin price very strong dan fast recovery.
The bounces and market retouches will happen frequently if the alt season is going to heat up. The strong technical analysis is useless nowadays due to the mentioned reasons above your post. The daily news and the other temporary factors are just small cross news between main market cycles. Long story short, technical and fundamental analysis is not a reliable method to find the perfect entry/exit price points on volatile crypto markets.
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Do you like to make money in your free time? on: January 21, 2021, 10:30:46 PM
We all like to make money in our free times but those free times are robbed by useless projects that have nothing to offer, and there is a saying that goes like this, time is money, I'm not trying to belittle this erotic coin of course but people need to do more than just rely on a single project to make money in crypto space today
l absolutely do agree with your opinion on that, most people try making money in their free time including me. But it is really hard to find some reliable projects, most new projects are fraud and there is a really high risk to invest them. l love making money in my free time instead of wasting my time. l think we should spend time the best we can. When we try making money in the crypto space, we can also get a lot of knowledge about new technology. People who are here don't waste their time in my humble opinion.
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum going up? on: January 21, 2021, 10:20:27 PM
ETH is showing the best performance in this year, l hope it will keep doing till the end of this year. We can see that when BTC would get up, ETH started also getting up. Investors are so happy with ETH and we should collect some ETH till the right day. That is why in my view ETH will keep getting up and this coin deserves really the best place as it did. Other ETH top altcoins do great right now, it is most valuable to focus on top altcoins than others for me.

some time ago ETH almost reached a new ATH but only a difference of 10 $ then dropped and is now in the range of 1200 again, maybe the next increase will be the new ATH. my prediction when btc will start going up again ETH will also follow, but for now btc is in correction it could even drop below 30k $

It's hard to anticipate but seems that the market is on a correction period, there's a lots of red that continue to show up, tough to make

a call since there's pressure that indicates that dumped may continue, maybe ETH might pumped again but it's needs to work things out

as investors may cut some loses and move away for a while.
It is going to be pumped more and the greed will take the ETH above the $4k. The bullas have no fear to make a new price discovery of around $4k and I believe the market will be there before the final quarter of 2021. Lets hope the short margin positions will pop up like never before it has happened. This time will be exciting to watch busted short traders. So no worries bullas.
1219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about altcoin long-term performance? on: January 21, 2021, 10:10:05 PM
l don't think the same about every altcoin, that is why the performance of every coin is so different. For me, top altcoins ETH, BNB, etc are the best for long-term investing. XRP can be also a good choice for the long term, but as l mentioned top altcoins are not a good choice for short-term investing. On the other hand, if you can be enough patient, you can earn from ETH by long-term investing.

Bitcoin is already 20% higher than it's previous ATH: $20,000 -> $24,000

Ethereum is 2 times lower than its ATH in USD and more than 4 times lower than its BTC ATH. Bcash used to cost a whopping $12,000 at one moment, now it costs $300. XRP went from $3 to $0.6

And these are top coins, so I'm not even going to start recounting how many coins went to zero in the last few years.

It's pretty clear that holding any altcoin for years will lose your money, either by losing compared to BTC, or by straight up losing USD value.

but i believe top altcoins such as ethereum is a good coins to hold mate
as we see now, ethereum already break its ATH, and i'm sure other top altcoins will follow to except xrp

the new season will boost the ETH price and the retouch can happen around $2k price. It is so obvious that the new alt season will boost the all dead and alive altcoin if the ETH can cross the $2k price tag. The XRP case is a bit complex and different, maybe the solution between Sec and XRP will be the new "excuse" for the boosted XRP price. Anyway, it is worth investing in reliable and solid projects nowadays.
1220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 18, 2021, 10:59:47 PM
Long story short: For getting rich either you have a lot of money or sacrifice your years for learning the hidden secrets of markets. It is not easy to get rich but it is not also impossible to get quickly rich with the right decisions at the right time. Newbies can open the max leverage trade during news and the sudden spike can quadruple the account balance less than 10 mins. Of course, the REKT will happen sooner or later. Trading capital is crucial at one point but some brokers can lend the account leverage for a long time with small commission. By the way, there are controlled mirror accounts on social trading platforms too.
