1361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 22, 2020, 09:55:24 PM
Depending on the daily mood, I can join both types of games. For multiplayer games, I look for the open game channels of Discord and check the available spaces. Btw, there are live slot games on live games providers and users can enjoy spinning the slots combined with roulette. This roulette has an additional bonus section on the wheel and in total 38 numbers are available for betting. If the players won the bonus round, we chat and decide which color is better for the next spin.
1362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 22, 2020, 08:57:47 PM
I don't see any online gambling sites who offer that because In my thinking they don't care how much the player they lost as long they earning money.
Because they don't know us personally, as long as you can bet, you are very much welcome, and they would hope that you'll lose as that is their mission, to make their business profitable and as much as possible maximize the profit.
In general, yes but for strictly regulated casinos the situation is not easy for such type of greedy casinos. Especially Malta-based regulated casinos have to stop the gambler, protecting his bankroll, I have read about the detailed analysis of how they get sued for not obeying the rules. If there was a mechanism in which gamblers and casinos are not competitors on gambler's bankrolls the situation has to be completely different, IMO.
1363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading... on: November 21, 2020, 10:58:54 PM
Has anyone tried https://www.shrimpy.io/?

It's one of the fastest growing social trading platforms in the crypto market. I'd recommend checking it out.
If the system is the same as Etoro it is a big NO for me. The higher deposit and withdrawal fees can cost more than what I pay on another bot trade based crypto exchanges. The copy trading methods are widely used by newbie traders but the risk factors are considered high by the same group of traders. Pamm accounts are still my preference rather than blindly copying trades of random traders on social trading websites.
1364  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 21, 2020, 09:54:13 PM
I have used hitbtc and it says withdrawal disable there, but it only lasts a day,
maybe Hitbtc maintains their system, and makes withdrawal disabled, try visiting again tomorrow
No, all withdrawals work flawlessly but something is wrong with the account of the opponent. If any of the coins has been disabled for trading or deposits, withdrawals this page will warn the user. Check this status page of HitBtc exchange for detailed info: https://hitbtc.com/system-monitor You can check the different token's status via this link and be sure if the HitBtc has disabled any feature related to the specific altcoin.
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 21, 2020, 09:32:19 PM
In general yes, gamblers have to lose more money than win to support the business.

The business uses electricity, pays taxes, pays employee wages, damaged machines and tables need to be replaced and of course they have to earn some money on top of the expenses for it to make sense.

If 10 gamblers would come in and 5 would win and 5 would lose the same money, there would be nothing left for the casino.
There always have to be at least 1 loser more compared to the number of winners for it to work.
Your math is wrong, one gambler can win the whole profit from the prize pool, single Jackpot winner can change the balance between losers/winners. The house edge is designed to take from both sides no matter the player wins or loses, that is how casinos operate. A similar situation is not true for bookies because gamblers gamble against the bookie aka house. In the Softswiss platform which provides the majority of slots from different providers, the gamblers share the common pool with win/loss. The payment is not paid by the casino, the winnings from slots are paid directly from the pool, IMHO.
1366  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 20, 2020, 09:26:33 PM

Full verification will be required for withdrawing the balance higher than $2000. Even if you haven't done any suspicious activity holding this amount on the exchange can raise a flag for support. On the next step, the team will ask for video verification and the source of funds if they can't catch anything wrong with documents. Be careful and don't try to cheat anything. Otherwise, funds will be seized, HitBtc is not an honest, transparent exchange.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between BTC/USDT and BTC/USD on: November 20, 2020, 08:01:48 PM
Depending on the exchange, the USD fiat equivalent can be offered in tokens or in the fiat value of the USD currency. Some exchanges use general USD value which can be converted to both crypto and fiat instantly. I advise using the USDT for day trading and if there is no exchange commission holding USD for the long term is a better idea than taking token value. The USDT is my last preference if there are alternative choices for the mentioned reasons and I prefer to hold the fiat value of tokens in this altcoin.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: November 19, 2020, 09:43:32 PM
Telegram is just a platform, it's the people that consist of the group that's making it worse. these bad actors have made Telegram their hub for their Ponzi scheme, scamming activities, pump and dump groups, and scam ICO, because they fully control the group if you go against them you can ban you and kick you out.
I agree, the people are just people there too, I can't blame social media because it plays the mirror role here. The useless questions and wrong accusations can drain the energy of chat managers and I don't think the other users enjoy staying there too. The role of social media can't be denied because Telegram has helped many project managers to find new investors but checking the useless messages of bounty hunters can be eye straining, IMHO.
1369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Extreme greed on the market on: November 16, 2020, 10:54:47 PM
AFAIK, Oanda US forex broker has created an excellent tool for measuring the fear/greed index on spot markets. Almost 90% of the indicators are based on the price action which can't be the source for fear/greed index, the sentimental spot market analysis can tell us what traders feel and what they are going to do as a crowd. If the volatility is high and euphoria happens, this is a clear example of staying away from buy orders that add more data for this indicator.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 16, 2020, 09:19:25 PM
It isn't the first time that someone knows it, gambling owners are making lots of profit from the people. Greediness is one of the reasons why there's a lot of people suffering from more losses than winning. Gambling is designed for entertainment purposes only if someone is thinking to make gambling as a source of income then he will expect the risk of losing more money in the process than winning. So in the long run casinos are still the one gaining the advantage.
Gambling wont be a profitable business if people arent greedy thats why those people who do invest into this business will really most likely to earn profit due to this reason.

If we do try to look at on how many sites are existing nowadays or businesses neither online or offline then you can really tell that theres soo much demand on it and generating millions of revenue.

This is why its pretty common that lots of people are losing because it give lots of profits to those who do built this kind of business
and also with the common line "HOUSE DO ALWAYS WIN".
What a foolish choice if gamblers choose to be greedy when it comes to gambling, I bet none of them lasted a single night playing gambling. No matter what they say or do it's always on the house side that do profit from them but some people are still playing gambling because some of them think gambling as an entertainment not a source of income. Well, it's just reasonable enough that you have to pay for your entertainment so that's why people are gathering on casinos.
House do always win but people do always forget this very basic saying and still continue to push their luck! Trying to formulate things every now and then until their do bust up.
Gambling is never intended for someone to make profits for long term. Its just a form of entertainment with some bonus if you are that lucky but to think that you should mind
that you are paying up your game for you to get entertained and don't ask something back from it because it will really just frustrate you if you do anticipate or do expect something in return.
If gambling is been on siding the players then we wont see any gambling businesses at the moment.
House always wins but there is no need to treat gambling as only a form of entertainment. Some people just enjoy gambling while another group of people just want to make a small income which is not stable over the long term. If the math was not behind the winning odds on casinos, almost all gamblers were millionaire now. This is another form of making money for casino owners, they only care about increasing the revenue while gamblers analyze the conditions on how to recover from the loss.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 16, 2020, 08:13:05 PM
Depending on the project and the minimum threshold set by the team. If the team asks for a high investment amount for an anonymous altcoin project, it can worth to invest but for similar projects that exist in the crypto industry, it doesn't worth spending money on. Obviously, common sense is enough to eliminate the bad projects hiding behind the anonymous team. If the hidden team doesn't disclose the identity of the members, in the worst case all investors will be scammed and the anonymous team will be part of another scam project.
1372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the secret to success in trading? on: November 15, 2020, 10:41:47 PM
Losing everything means the trader has no capacity to control his emotions because going all in a single trade is equal to a lack of risk management. The perfect trading strategy doesn't exist and finding the strategy that suits the personal trading style of traders can give a better ROI in the long term. Buying the trading mechanism or bots from other traders can be another loss for the trader if he has no idea how to manage the risks with proper money management.
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Don't trade on binance or okex if you are just a small trader on: November 15, 2020, 08:56:46 PM
Nonsense, the taker and maker fees are not high on Binance compared to Bitstamp or Bitfinex. For each trade, you pay the commission to the middleman for meeting the order requirements as a taker or maker order owner. The 0.05% fee promotions are temporary if you have seen lower fees on advertisements, don't give advice if you have no idea how the order book works.  Order book reading is an art which can not be changed by unprofessional traders, the temporary facts are just time based "temporary things", IMHO.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 15, 2020, 08:28:41 PM
These arguments are based on the experience of gamblers and have been eliminated by master psychologists after taking listening to thousands of gamblers. Greed and fear are two main drivers of human emotions, so it is essential to get rid of emotional decisions during making bets. The free drinks are just bonuses and this is not a big deal compared to what kind of turnover the casino pit bosses contorls.
1375  Economy / Exchanges / Re: why i think Its the best exchange. on: November 14, 2020, 09:32:27 PM
The trading fees are low but the information is very limited on crpyot focuses forums, discussions. Maybe a 0.05% trading fee is attractive for traders who like to use the trading bots in daily trading but I didn't like the UI of the website. The withdrawal fees are the same as Binance: BTC: 0.0005BTC, LTC:0.0015 LTC, and 0.005 for ETH. I will try this exchange if there is no KYC requirement. BTW, where the parent company located?
1376  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise (!?)|| November 2020 on: November 14, 2020, 09:05:37 PM
I think casinos shouldn't charge at all for withdrawal fees by their own set fee. Rather than just let players choose the available fee options for them just like when sending from a wallet he owns private key for. That way, a user can easily choose less fee if he doesn't need the funds urgently!
Not true in all cases, I have seen many blocked or frozen gambling accounts due to using the deposit/withdrawal as a hot wallet. The low fees can attract the other users who have no interest to gamble to make deposits/withdrawals for transferring the crypto. It is necessary to charge the average fee because unlike gambling websites Kraken exchange even takes the deposit fee from each deposit to balance the costs.
1377  Economy / Exchanges / Re: why different markets show different movement on the same pair? on: November 14, 2020, 08:32:11 PM
The first reason is the lack of centralization which exchanges can use as the main source for liquidity. If the liquidity is adjusted with the trading bots and the lag happens on the automated trades, the fluctuations on the market will happen in different order sizes. Binance became the main source nowadays but the Bitstamp rates were the original source years ago. Market fluctuations can change the daily trading behavior of crypto traders, so the exchanges can use this against the margin traders.
1378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why You Should Trade Crypto With Leverage on: November 13, 2020, 09:17:27 PM
Leverage trading, also known as margin trading, is when a trading platform allows you to increase your capital through borrowed funds and leverage your trade.

Today we discuss why we think trading with leverage is a good idea, come check it out here: https://steemit.com/crypto/@brokaine/why-you-should-trade-crypto-with-leverage-in-south-africa

In your article. I see that an advantage of trading with leverage is less risk than holding actual crypto
That part isn't correct. Trading with leverage has higher risk than holding. With holding, you cant loose all your funds. But with trading, you can loose any amount. Especially when you are trading with leverage.
Not true in all cases, if you don't close the order the loss is only on the paper. Similar logic for HODL, the longer the investor keeps the position the higher the chances the price will return to the original level one day. Leverage trading can be risky for newbies but experienced traders know how to use it effectively in the volatile crypto markets. The leverage can be overkill if the trader has no idea about the slippage on the order book, the multiplied loss can cause a suicide too. Unfortunately, the trading companies don't want to decrease the leverage for newbie traders.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 09, 2020, 10:57:08 PM
Terrible news to read, horrific things happen in the background and I don't support activities promoting the gambling ads on TV, boards. If the gambler is an irresponsible person, preventing himself from all kinds of gambling involved activities will not let that person accept the life-changing decisions. The close circle of that person has to convince him to not borrow money from the lender for chasing the losses.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on gambling casinos on: November 09, 2020, 10:21:13 PM
if winning a jackpot requires a kyc before withdrawals they should put that on their rules because that is important to know . gamblers wont burn money in the hopes of snatching that jackpot if in the end they cant still get thier winnings but the biggest question that arises is why will they suddenly require a kyc when they are not legal .

is that only an excuse to not give away the jackpots . if your asking if i trust illegal casinos well no i dont support them but i always play on the verified casinos because i feel that they wont cheat on me .
That is why casinos don't ask KYC for deposits, only big withdrawal requests over $1000 requires a KYC. Legal and regulated casinos should be able to ask the account verification in all cases no matter what turnover the gambler has but suspicious activities or accusations about bonus abusing can accelerate this process. The sudden KYC requirement is acceptable if there is no reason to blame the casino for this request.
