441  Economy / Economics / Re: What you will do if bitcoin price drops to 50$ and you have lots of bitcoin on: October 20, 2015, 01:51:02 PM
A lot people will hold their BTC forever.

Or logically, they already convert their BTC first to the other "investment" before the prive drop to 1 BTC = 50 USD

And it's not easy like that to make BTC price drop.

I don't think A LOT of people will hold on to their coins forever. Most people will base it off speculation and once they see people are losing faith, then they will dump their coins immediately.

If the people have get free or invested a little in the early stage of bitcoin then i think that they might hold the coins for a long time but not forever, however if someone invest in something he wants to get the money back and with a little profit so i would stay and not sell at $50.
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: yay btc goes ~$250 ! on: October 20, 2015, 01:48:30 PM
For about 16 hours the price of bitcoin has been increased.
At the moment it is around +3 dollars which makes me feel a bit more happy.
I think that it is the moment now to change the tittle to "yay btc goes ~$280" Smiley
443  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best bitcoin wallet? on: October 20, 2015, 01:47:09 PM
I personally use Coinbase as my main online wallet, have have been using it for quite a while now. I also use Electrum because it is lightweight. If you're looking for a more secure option, go for cold/hardware wallets.

I recommend to the newbies or to the new people when joining bitcoin world,
To use coinbase as it is very easy to use and also to buy or sell bitcoin there,
But to have more security on your wallet i suggest cold wallet or Trezor(which cost ~$100)
444  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: October 20, 2015, 01:41:49 PM
Today i earned from my signature campaign,
I like when the payday comes, especially weekly.
Made a request in the website hope to receive in my wallet asap.
445  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: October 20, 2015, 01:40:59 PM
A house.
But first I need "enough" bitcoin.
Then bitcoin has to become big enough.

Not that easy....  Undecided

I saw a house that was (or still) for sale in the Goods board.
It cost a lot in bitcoin, maybe the same as paying by cash.
But when the difference is too little then first yeah must need to have money.
446  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I invest? on: October 20, 2015, 01:38:35 PM
Just go for bitcoins. You can earn a lot from it

Where is this bitcoins? You should provide a proper site url otherwise how one can guess what you're are thinking.

I think he meant mining bitcoins, if you got good equipment you can earn a significant amount of it.

But let's not forget the altcoins that can be picked up at cheap price now, and sold later at higher price!

I have good and bad experiences in new altcoins, it's true that cost cheap but it can go cheaper and you loose.

Not necessarly new altcoins, old ones can be cheap too. Burst for example is only 32 satoshi and its already established.

LTC is pretty cheap now, and its through the halving period.

NXT is also cheap considering the earlier price levels.

etc.

New alt coins really does not have a good future.
Most of them are just created to make some profit for the owners/developers.
I have invested many times but will never do that again, the price is just not stable.

I have seen many posts about burst coins.  When I did math on this "HD Mining" it was like dollars a month for multiple T on HD.  So it's crazy.

Please can you show some ROI math on burst coin?  Show something besides saying how great it is?  I just don't see mining it as practical if the calculators are right.

I have also checked if it worth mining with your HDD via BURST,
But it really does not worth, i have 1 TB HDD and i think it does not worth to mine.
I also checked if SSD will change the earnings but there is no difference so i would not invest there.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: October 20, 2015, 01:23:18 PM
You can do programming jobs or look around the Altcoins section, maybe you can find a giveaway coin and trade that to BTC
Selling your skill as a programmer or even designer its such a good thing to earn bitcoin in this forum, you can find a lot of project on markeptlace that needs your skills or just open your own service, moreover if you have a product you can sell them and get paid with bitcoin

The programming field (or world) is very large and you have many languages.
Each programming language has it owns specific in which platform can be work properly.
But i think joining the mobile development world is nice to get started by building mobile apps.

449  Economy / Services / Re: 1 Year IPTV Subscription on: October 18, 2015, 05:24:29 PM
I checked the list of channels and i see that there is no HD channel?
Also do you have only this list or you can have others.
Like other languages not only english, the price seems good.
450  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTN] Interested to buy brand new HDDs/laptops/GPUs w GREAT discount? Look here! on: October 14, 2015, 08:22:08 PM
Firstly this is good that you first order the things in your address and then ship them to the buyer.
I would be interested in a macbook pro, but before dealing the price (your offer)
Then maybe i will add an SSD, any external HDD but first needs the price, Grade of interest:2

Edit:
Item(s): Macbook Pro, SSD 240GB+, 1TB - 2TB WD external HDD
Grade of interest: 2
Number of items:1
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: October 13, 2015, 10:43:18 PM
i would say yes. reason being that after the halving happens next year, the supply should decrease quite significantly and your btc would be worth alot more than it is today (~240usd).

The number of bitcoins will not decrease as you are saying.
It will increase but in a low intensity comparing before the halving.
The difference is in the block reward which will become 50% lower, but investing in a single btc seems not a good idea, you can't expect to make lots of money with only 1BTC.
452  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to make a living online? on: October 13, 2015, 10:39:56 PM
How to attract traffic to your website?

You buy it, and do an evaluation how much your marketing costs vs how much you gain by selling products or services.

If its profitable then go for it.

If you plan to make a living online through websites then it is ok.
But by buying traffic this is not good, because when you stop buying you will see your visitors quantity will drop.
Buy big facebook pages, large twitter accounts or build your audience gradually(which takes longer).
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: October 13, 2015, 10:21:22 PM
website in my signature,maybe ?
For example: Your deposit 0.001 BTC + many reffered users = fast profit.

I don't like to promote this things, but i really hate these "double your bitcoin".
Because the chances to get scammed are high.
Mostly these kind of websites pay their users at their beginnings but after the owner of this website has good income he closes and goes offline. So it is not recommended.
454  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info on: October 13, 2015, 10:18:53 PM
Thanks to everybody that contributes to this thread in line with better security and the likes, i also need wallet that charge small fees on transfer and deposits because just today btc-e.com charged me 0.001btc to withdraw my fund which i feel is too high, any help on low charge wallet.

Nowadays i am using coinbase and you have not to worry about the fees.
Because they cover the transaction fees for you.
Here is an article: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/en/portal/articles/815435-does-coinbase-pay-bitcoin-miner-fees-
455  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000usd/btc or bust on: October 13, 2015, 10:12:03 PM
When you want to speculate try to be more realistic.
Why should bitcoin price reach 10,000 USD ? I don't see any factor that can trigger this!!!
Btw, reaching next year $500 would be good as it is the double price of bitcoin now.
Maybe it can reach 10k usd but really really need decades to reach it.

Technology is advancing at an exponential rate. Look where we came from decades ago. 5 years from now our world will be much different. 10k Bitcoin will not take decades if it is adopted. It will exponentially grow also.

If bitcoin reaches the price of 1,000 USD from now then this could be called success.
I know that everything in the technology area is advancing and new innovative things came out.
But the price of 10k USD is really high to believe, i think it can take up to 10 years.
456  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info on: October 13, 2015, 09:51:53 PM
blockchain.info does not send sms verification to my mobile phone number despite my several attempt, is this a general problem or peculiar to me alone?
Any help shall be appreciated.

Look, I don't want to sound too harsh, but you should think about abandoning blockchain.info wallet. First of all this is an online wallet, and you shouldn't be using online wallets. But it's you insist on using an online wallet, then you have chosen the worst one.

Blockchain.info is by far the buggiest wallet out there. All the time some kind of problems. Just take a look through this begginers&help thread to see how many threads are about the blockchain wallet. Just ditch it and change for something else!

Cheers!
I can understand that but which option is better because i have heard of many desktop bitcoin client been hacked.

If you insist to use an online web wallet, then i would suggest coinbase.
Or blocktrail.com which seems better in security and the private key.
Coinbase has a good popularity but they do not provide you the private key.
Here is a thread to check which is the best: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1163283.0
457  Economy / Economics / Re: What you will do if bitcoin price drops to 50$ and you have lots of bitcoin on: October 13, 2015, 09:32:44 PM
If i could choose two options then i would select the last two.
I still have trust, and i will buy bitcoin with every thing i own && I will keep my bitcoins in my wallet.
Everyone at that period of time would think that the bitcoin price could go deeper low so i would stay there.
458  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 13, 2015, 09:26:54 PM
Gold is for women and if the jewelry looks awesome its price can go much higher.
Especially for wedding rings these cost a lot but people doesn't care to much.
Comparing to bitcoin which is in every field the same, but investing there i see more advantages.

The thing with wedding rings is that most of the cost is actually the jeweler's profit, rather than the metal itself.

That's the point of these wedding rings, earning from gold as a metal (if the price is higher),
And at the same time earn from its design as a jewelry.
Why not earning from both ways. But it really needs luck to make this happen.

That's mostly in the west btw. In India jewelry costs much closer to the actual price of the metal used.

Mostly that depends on luck if you can sell that golden ring or jewelry.
And as you said depending in which country is these rings target.
I prefer more using/investing in bitcoin as it is digital, and trades are faster than gold.
459  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Do I need a Faucet? on: October 13, 2015, 08:53:18 PM
So I am about to start mining shortly! What is a faucet / do I need one?

MC

Bitcoin faucet is a website that gives out "free" bitcoins (BTC) in exchange for doing a simple task,
Mostly solving a CAPTCHA, and/or clicking some "hidden" buttons in order to see the claim button.
You can start in https://freebitco.in or check a list here https://faucetbox.com/en/list and experiment and understand how it works, but saying the truth the reward is very small.
