I mined the danbi pool for about 5 weeks, but I'm done with the constant problems, and finally the non-payment of approx. 40-45 coins.
A small amount, but a constant headache keeping up with the pool being down. Does not reflect well on DMD.
Constant problems are to be expected with any coin. What doesn't reflect well on DMD is the cheesy 'BONUSBONUSBONUS ACT NOW NOW NOW' cloud marketing. It's the dime store version of Paycoin and GAW. Let's list the known use cases for DMD: 1) buying DMD cloud mining, to earn more DMD 2)  I think ^this^ is why only one pool is (kind of) bothering to support Diamond. Ok, we know your opinion on DMD. On this thread and your other "unofficial" thread. Let people make up their mind on the coin. The coin you have commonly referred to was pre mined where DMD was not. If you look at the cost of the diamond you will see that it has not changed in relation to the dollar.
Prior to start the pump and after, the price is 16 - 17 cents. Bitcoin value thus noticeably dropped.
This means that there is good potential for investment in the Diamonds.
yes diamond is looking like a better investment than BTC. Pretty stable.. I may want to buy more if the time is right.. |

Cryptsy doesn't answer. Poloniex should work normally, dunno why it isn't working anymore.
We will have our weekly team meeting today, I can then check the status of v0.1.9, which has major improvements.

Let me explain the last 24 hours. We finished and started the roll-out of 0.1.8. We first rolled it out to some of our nodes and the IRC channel. We then started rolling it out to exchanges. BTER was first and implemented 0.1.8 yesterday. After getting his node up and running, Karma (Creator of CryptiKit) found a bug and reported it to Boris. We stopped the roll-out to fix the bug. Boris ended up fixing the bug yesterday evening but then they found another possible problem while fixing that. So last night and this morning Boris was working to fix the problems. He believes he has it fixed and just rolled out an update of 0.1.8 to the IRC channel and our nodes. We are going to give it an hour or so while he runs to the Market to make sure no more issues arise. At that point, we will update the exchanges and then post the release notes and download link.
If you transferred money yesterday, it's possible that it was either transferred from a node on a different version or transferred TO a node that was on a different version at the time (i.e. BTER). The funds are not lost and the transaction can be re-sent once everyone is updated to the new version and it will go through as usual. The issue is probably related to the halted roll-out due to the discovered bugs.
Keep in mind 0.1.8 was a partial optimization and for 0.1.9 we actually went back and re-wrote everything from scratch to use the new DB structure and improve every aspect of the code. While 0.1.8 loads in about 20 minutes (way faster than previous version), 0.1.9 is a tenfold increase in performance in lots of areas and is running effectively on 512 mb instances. We should be ready to put 0.1.9 into testing this week if all goes well.

Dev missing Run away  We've stuck here through much worse trolls than you. Despite all of the setbacks and struggles we have faced, we sure as hell aren't running away. Look, you can say we are incompetent, incapable, or question our ability to deliver and that is your right and I wouldn't necessarily blame you. I would probably be doing the same thing if I were in your shoes. We have lost the benefit of the doubt in regards to some sense of faith in us at this point due to the delays. What I hope no one here questions is our intentions, that we plan to build what we said we would, and we will continue to move, adapt, and do whatever it takes to get there. We aren't giving up nor are we running away. We also aren't hiding from the fact that it has been slow moving and a very difficult road so far. I promise you that we are all pushing and adapting this organization to be more successful, to fix the problems, and to start showing progress. The reason I haven't yet posted an update from the weekend is because we are focused on testing the current release and trying to get it out. We acknowledge that actions speak louder and we want to speak by showing a change in operating procedure, a more refined process of releases, and a better sense of progress. Great but the progress is too slow....  if you don't like how the progress is going and are just going to bitch about it. Find another coin that suits you better.. bitch go away scammer Scammer? As planned at 1'000'000 coins issued, price will explode if enough investments in DMD cloudmining. DMD's Value dropped to $ 0.138832 today, so just because you throw money at cloud mining , does not mean DMD value will keep increasing. All POW mining profits lessens every 2 weeks, does not matter if you increase your mining by 100% every month, it will still depreciate faster than your miner can make up the difference. All of You who invested in cloud mining, will never see your original investment returned, unless new people are dumb enough to add money , then the ones at the very beginning will see some return. First of all, no one has lost any money on this coin IF THEY BOUGHT FOR THE LONG TERM. The trading price of the coin has gone down, but that is the pump and dumpers. If you have sold your XCR, you are a day trader and thus are gambling with the price, not investing in value.
If you bought for the long term, you have not lost a thing. The value of XCR is still there and increasing everyday.
Second, the devs are building a new type of trading system, with the custom blockchains and the node.js algo. This is not something you just fork off Bitcoin and have an IPO. This is new territory and requires a lot of time and money to code. That is why there was a IPO and now there are more devs and engineers working on Crypti. This was made very clear before the IPO.
If you dont want to keep your XCR, sell it on Cryptsy to me....... I have buys in around 350 sats.

I hope for more than a peek. There were so many different choices, that it is mind boggling. Could never get a majority vote on one when there are a dozen or more to pick from, so we are having GreXX pick the final design. Are you talking about Christine's designs?
