Okay, sorry... It's hard to answer these without knowing how much you want to "borrow". A serious mining business are worth over a million. I used to mine in 2011 and even then it was already getting impractical without decent ROI.
443  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Helping someone to get started with mining is good/bad for the whole community ? on: April 10, 2013, 02:01:26 PM
1. It is good because the network will grow.
2. Taking/giving out a btc denominated loan is very risky.

Good questions...

446  Economy / Economics / Re: So if you want to help the economy... on: April 10, 2013, 04:54:05 AM
Thread is smart.

I just wish I could buy my goddamn groceries in Bitcoin. Groceries and gas. Thats where all my fiat goes.

By sending us a request form on our website but it's too late for the first edition.
I'll check if we can squeeze your website in it but I'm not sure about that. I'll send you a PM by tomorrow to confirm.

448  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price increase devaluates other currencies? on: April 10, 2013, 04:35:54 AM
I think it's more the other way around. Bitcoin's "absolute value" does increase as more people offer goods and services in it, driving demand and increasing the conversion rate versus, say, gold. But governments are also printing money at phenomenal rates, which does the most devaluation of the various currencies, and further drives the conversion rate up.

Umm... Unit tests are pretty useful... Doing a serious project without them is like replacing a thousand of repeating words with a text editor without the replace command. A Major pain...

456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $10,000 Bet that Bitcoins will outperform Gold, Silver by 100X !!! on: April 09, 2013, 01:44:12 PM
Bitcoin outperformed all my "maths". Just three months ago I was willing to make a bet that the total value of all BTC would get to $1 billion USD in 18 months. I was wrong - It  happened in 2. Seems like op's claim might also be possible. Time will tell.
457  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin created 8gb of files, filling up my SSD, are these needed? on: April 09, 2013, 12:23:55 PM
It took a long time to start and synchronize the Wallet. It appears that almost 8gb of files were created in the appdate/roaming/bitcoin folder.

As this is a considerable portion of my SSD:
- Are these files forever needed or can I remove them?
- Will these grow with all new transactions? If so, then they might grow into dozens of gb?
- Can these files be moved if they can not be deleted, without haviong to re-synch?

Thanks!
1. You need them
2. Yes
3. Yes
