I have checked the rules everywhere - and this is unfair no matter how it is sliced.

You don't have dealer peek for blackjack
You don't offer surrender
You allow resplitting of aces.
When the dealer has a blackjack, you take ALL the bets?

Even casinos with the same supposed advantage of you consider A10 on splits to be a push against a dealer blackjack.

Not the first time it has happened to me - and it's crazy that you hide behind "we only have 0.5% advantage" when rules like this are blatantly a ripoff.

I understand variance, and I won't even ask how it is that the last 200 hands I had 12, 174 of them I get a face card, but the last 200 times I double down against a 9, I get a face card 44 times.   That's variance huh?  I'll take your word on "provability", but the aces thing is BS.

Be fair about this.  It's the 3rd time it happened and it really affects a bankroll.

screen cap

The cards are completely random. Because of our provably fair code, we can't do anything to change which cards will get dealt.

You can check the blackjack rules by clicking the red help button, and then the yellow rules button. The current set of rules gives a house edge of 0.5%, and then after the 0.1% jackpot contribution we are giving an expected return of 99.6%. We have considered enabling dealer peeking for blackjacks, but then we'd need to change another rule to balance this.

Please confirm this was not a bot won. The jackpot was only at 337 at around 11pm EST.

This was not a bot win. The rate of games played by this user was not high. There were also periods of time when the jackpot was very big (500+ BTC) and nobody was going for the jackpot, which means that everybody had a fair chance to win this jackpot.

Please explain how one person managed to move the jackpot up over 300 BTC in a period of 6 hours?

The slots jackpot grows quite quickly! Smiley

1.6% of all bets goes towards the progressive jackpot. So for every 0.2 BTC bet, 0.0032 BTC gets added to the jackpot. If the user is playing autoplay, it will quickly increase the size of the jackpot.

I understand the technical aspect of the problem with the bots and being able to prevent them. I do believe somehow inserting a captcha if X amount of rolls are generated within Y time.

By limiting the API calls to the same amount of time that a regular user can achieve by using auto would also help. I don't mind the idea that someone can run a ton of screens and win, I just dislike the idea that others are having an unfair advantage (spinning 100x faster than me). I was literally at a loss of words when I was running over 16 browser sessions trying to hit a jackpot on full speed auto and a bot owner comes in and is spinning 100x faster than me.

If you see a user playing at an unfair rate, please email us at admin@bitcoinvideocasino.com and we will take a closer look. We can disable bots that are playing too quickly.

Wow! We just had our first ever 0.05 BTC/credit Video Poker progressive jackpot! Congratulations user 380f8057f7 on your enormous 243.9 BTC win! This is the #7 biggest win we've ever had on our site. Smiley

THis is cool.. So the deal is live here?

A live deal? What do you mean?

All games here are completely random and independent of each other. The games are single-player, so you can play without having to wait for other users.

u can also track the number of players loggin in.i mean if suddenly 10+ players login at the same time theres something goin on.also can u tell if its always the same bot accounts? because u need to top of every new account before u can play,so for me it would be less hassle using same accounts over and over

Agreed, it definitely looks suspicious when suddenly 10 accounts show up at the same time. Unfortunately, there might also be a human account that happened to arrive at the same time, so there isn't any guarantee that they are all bots. We don't want to accidentally disable a real human account because we incorrectly thought they were a bot.

It seems to be different accounts that are winning the jackpots, so I am guessing it's a mix of new bot accounts being created and regular humans. It would be pretty easy for a bot operator to automate the creation and funding of new accounts, in order to avoid using the same account more than once.

Can you rate limit the API requests or calls at least?

If the bots could only play at the speed of actual players or if I could get that script.

Pisses me off when I pump the jackpots 20+ BTC and it gets hit, really, really pisses me off.

We could probably implement rate limiting in our server code. It would take some time to write and test. I'm a little worried that legitimate users might somehow get affected by this. The code wouldn't be able to prevent someone from just playing with more accounts over more IP addresses unfortunately.

If you see a user that is playing way too quickly, please email the user ID to admin@bitcoinvideocasino.com and we will take a closer look. We can manually disable bot accounts that are playing too quickly.

Amazed how a site like this can't prevent bots from "spawning over new accounts". Yet you still allow bots to win pretty much every jackpot. How about you deny the payment to these accounts or is it the site owner who is winning the jackpots to save money?

You all are pathetic and are FRAUDS.

And to your response of someone winning large Slots jackpots, why does it need to be someone who continually plays for hours until the progressive is hit? How is that "provably fair"? Ever been to a real casino where a jackpot has been hit within a couple of minutes?

This site needs to be looked into.

We can not tell who is a bot and who is not. All requests to the server look the same. Therefore, we can not deny payment to bots since we don't know who they are.

This was an early design decision when we created the site -- all accounts are completely anonymous and require no registration.

Again, we do not run any bots ourselves.

All of our games are completely random and independent of each other. The chance of a slots jackpot is something like 1/50,000 when playing 20 lines. This does not mean that someone must play exactly 50,000 games before they win the jackpot. Sometimes they play a lot less, and sometimes a lot more. We don't have any control over when it will get hit -- that's what provably fair means. Each game is independent, so playing X games and not winning the jackpot does not get you any closer to winning the jackpot. There is no counter that sees how many games have played and then awards the jackpot.

And the bots continue to kill the roulette jackpots. Figures no response from site admins.

SITE IS A FRAUD!

Hi,

I have already responded to your issues with the bots. I have already stated:

1. We agree that the bots are a problem for our users on the web site.
2. We can't rate limit bots because the bot operator can just spawn more accounts over different IP addresses which we can't detect.
3. We don't have a proper solution yet.

These bots do not make us a fraud. We don't run the bots. I don't know why you continue to berate our site like this when we are clearly on your side. We don't want the bots to ruin the user experience. I have already said this multiple times.

We have a lot to offer our users. We run a fun Bitcoin casino with seven different games. We have instant deposits, fast gameplay and 2-confirmation withdrawals. We offer autoplay with different gameplay strategies. We have progressive jackpots in all our games. We have at most a 0.5% house edge, the lowest of any casino. We have been around for two years. And so on.

The fact that bots sometimes come and play fast games does not take away from any of the other features that we have on our site.

If you have constructive solutions that can help with this issue, then please let me know.

I made two withdraws today but only one actually went out.   The other one has yet to show up on the block chain or my wallet.

This issue has been resolved over email. The user's local wallet was not updating properly, so the second withdrawal was not showing up. However, a quick look on blockchain.info revealed that both withdrawals were there.

Congratulations user 8c05978992 on your massive 282.04 BTC slots jackpot!!!

Bot analysis: At the time of this win, no other accounts were playing 0.01 BTC slots besides this one. Looking at the last 30 games played that led to the jackpot, his rate of playing was about 0.9 games/sec. Definitely not a bot.

Covering your ass with a lie. Explain why another account scored a keno win with 9 out of 10 balls literally near the same time.

We get jackpots all the time. So it's inevitable that some jackpots will occur at around the same time. We don't have any control over the distribution of jackpots at any given point in time, since all of our games are provably fair and independent of each other.

In the past day or so we have had 3 roulette jackpots, 2 slots jackpots (including the huge one), 1 dice jackpot, 1 videopoker jackpot and 4 keno jackpots.

Keno jackpots are pretty rare because it's one of our less popular games. However, if a user decides to play for hours on autoplay, keno jackpots will get hit.

The last 9 number keno jackpot was on Mon, 29 Dec 2014 22:43:17 GMT. The big slots jackpot was on Tue, 30 Dec 2014 00:40:14 GMT (about two hours later).

The 9-number keno jackpot was won by user SlotAddict. He won the jackpot while no other users were playing Keno. He was playing games at a rate of about 2 games/second, so it looks like he was playing autoplay on the website.

I'm really not sure what else I can tell you to show that we are not cheating our users. We have had this site for two years now and the last thing we want to do is try to cheat our users somehow. It simply makes no sense.

And another fucking bot wins the Slots jackpot. Fair my ass. Also I see you are following the Keemstar person on Twitter and you favorited his tweet that you sponsor him? Looks like you/your team could care less. This forum seems to be your damage control. Please sell your site to people that give a shit.

We have been trying to sell the site for a while now. We are only programmers on this team, and understand that there is a better team out there that can take over operating this site and make the experience better for the user.

If you or someone you know is interested in buying this site they can email admin@bitcoinvideocasino.com for more information. We are only going to sell the site to an honest team with experience running complex sites like this. We have already turned down many people because they did not have enough experience or were too shady.

We absolutely do care about this site. It was a dumb move to promote the keemstar videos, and we have apologized for it already. We made a mistake, and now we are moving on. Making a mistake like this doesn't mean we don't care what happens on this site.
