Hi there, I love your slot machine on the web, and I would like to spin a bit sometimes when im on the couch being lazy on my iPad, so I wonder if we can ever have this app for apple devices too.
I have an Android phone too but im scared to try it out after reading the problems in this thread. Can you guarantee that they are fixed now?

We unfortunately can't have a version of Bitcoin Video Casino for iPhone and iPad since the Apple store does not allow gambling apps. It can be difficult for users to install apps that are not from the Apple store, so we decided to not build an iOS version. Sad

Deposits aren't working?

We recently had some trouble processing deposits. It resulted in most deposits taking much longer than usual before getting credited to the account. I'm really sorry about the inconvenience.

Deposits should now be working normally again.

We have temporarily disabled the Android app while we look into the issue.

If you ever have trouble with your account you can always reach us at admin@bitcoinvideocasino.com.

Am I imagining things?  Why is no one talking about the jackpot for video poker at the .05 credit limit?

5985+ credits prob technically makes the game profitable for the user.  But you have to deal with a huge variance and betting .25 btc per hand.

After spendig a good amount of time playing this, I really hope it wasn't a typo seeing how no one has mentioned it on the past 3 pages.

Yup, the big video poker jackpot is now almost 300 BTC.

It's definitely +EV at this point but you are right that there is a huge variance and each individual bet is pretty large.

Good luck to everyone! Smiley

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the site. I'll try my best to address the points that you've made.

Every game on our site is provably fair. It's simply not possible for us to cheat on the shuffle. We are not able to manipulate the shuffle to create whatever patterns you happen to be noticing. If there is an error in our provably fair code, then please let us know. If not, then we must acknowledge that each game is 100% random.

We disabled chat because many users were abusing it. Users were posting links to malicious sites. Many users were also harassing others and constantly begging for free coins. It seemed to us that the negative aspects far outweighed the positive, so we disabled it. If you need to speak to someone here, you can always send an email to admin@bitcoinvideocasino.com.

Some users have asked us to see all of their games played. We then send a CSV file with all games played by the user. You are then free to open the file in Excel or use whatever programming language you'd like to use. We certainly don't require that you use Python to open the file. We send all games played in the most basic file format possible -- I'm not sure what else you are expecting from us in this regard.

Finally, we disabled the stat display because it was thrashing the database when viewing some users. Some queries were taking many seconds to complete, which was causing all games played to slow down to a crawl. Rather than slow down all users, we disabled the stats display, which admittedly is not great. I think the correct solution for this would be to update all user stats in the background and then cache the results, although then the results wouldn't quite be up-to-date, which might confuse users.

We are 100% accountable to our users. We have been up for over three years now, and we have no intention of cheating our users in any way. It simply doesn't make any sense for us to risk getting caught being dishonest. We keep users happy by running a fun and honest site, and that seems to work pretty well! Smiley

Until the site offers proper play auditing, they're no different than any other "We're fair!" casino.  All claim with no true proof.   They make their bank off their API.   Congrats Bot 2e3ee3f1!  Another bonus paid out!

Site has a stats link...doesn't work.  Chat...doesn't work....history only shows last 20 hands.  Any more, you have to email and get a partial history that you have to learn python to decode.  Doesn't include your bet size or whether you double down or split.  Impossible to track true play via their own stats.

So you're left to track them yourself.

My own tracking noticed odd patterns. Not patterns over 50 hands.  Patterns over 25,000 hands.

This is before Halloween. So maybe suddenly this place turned over a new leaf and became fair.

Dealer shows an ace.  Probability 31% they have a face (blackjack).  Yet over the last 70 times I took insurance, dealer had blackjack 11 times (15.7%).   Over the last 70 times I didn't take insurance, 41 times (59%). Small sample I guess.

How about splitting against a 3.  Dealer busts 37% of the time statistically right?

Non splitting...dealer shows 3.  last 50 times.  Dealer busts 19 times (almost exactly 37%)
Splitting hands against a 3.  Last 50 times.  Dealer busts 4 times.

This is how these sites can claim to be fair without any true accountability.  They don't offer a true audit.  They make it near impossible to get even a proper hand history.  There's no bet history.   They're accountable to no-one.

Caveat Emptor

THAT BLACK JACK IS  A BIT SKETCHY.  NOT SAYING IT IS RIGGED BUT IS RIGGISH

I dont play blackjack much, but never had an issue, What was sketchy about it?

I agree with dakrusha, too many 20s beaten by 21 for me, dealer rarely busts when starting with cards like a 6 then gets 21 against your 20.  Happens a lot as soon as you raise your bet above a set amount.  Definitely not a game you want to play with big stakes, you will lose BIG time.  I lost 27 hands in a row on one occasion, luckily I was betting minimum.  I have only ever seen anything like it in the rigged online casinos that I know are rigged.  Didn't think I would see it here.

Blackjack is the game to avoid here.

Blackjack and all our other games are provably fair. This means that there is nothing that we can do to rig the game in any way. The server generates a random seed, and afterwards your web browser then generates a large random number that must be incorporated into the original server seed. It forces the server to shuffle in a random way that it has no control over, and essentially means that there is no way for us to cheat with the shuffle in any way.

I'm very sorry to hear that you've had a bad string of luck, but it's simply not possible for us to have influenced this in any way.

If you'd like to learn more about how provably fair works, please click the "provably fair" link at the top of our website.

Had a small issue with a game freezing mid-bet today.  Emailed the admin.  Tom emailed me - checked it - and credited my account.

In the plus/minus ledger of things - having a real person check and then credit the account is a massive plus.

Thanks Tom

Thanks for the nice words! I hope you have a great day! Smiley

I have to say this one of the best dice sites out there, the jackpot is just too damn good!

Thanks so much for the nice words about our site! Smiley

Admin Tom went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Even though the site was down, he went out of his way to pay me the jackpot winnings 309 BTC.
This site is 100% legit. I've won many jackpots on the site and have been paid each and every time.
With the winnings, I played some more slots and won another 20 coins but ended up losing it back. My only problem is not being able to stop playing when I'm on a winning streak. lol.
Anyways, I'd write some more but gotta go spend some of the winnings.

Thanks again Tom and the rest of the admins at BVC.

Thanks so much for posting these nice words! Smiley

Congratulations on your giant jackpot!

I've tried to use the Android app and have never had any success with it. I always get an error message along the lines of "error connecting to network". Is there a known issue with the app? It looks really neat would be cool to use it!

Yesterday when the site was down the Android app was also affected. So it wouldn't have worked for anyone during that time.

If you try it again (and make sure your internet is enabled) it should work now. If it's still giving you that error you could try going into the settings and then tapping "create new account key".

The site is now back up again. All accounts and wallets are fine and everything is operating normally.

I am extremely sorry about this inconvenience. I fully understand that it can be stressful when a site like this goes down, especially if you have credits on the server.

We have been around for almost three years now and I want to assure everyone that we would never do anything to cheat our users. We are 100% honest and legitimate here.

Sorry again for the trouble.

est time of the sit comming back

At the moment we don't know. We are waiting to hear back from our hosting provider, which is extremely frustrating. We were under the impression that they would have 24/7 support but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Hello everyone,

We're having some trouble with the site at the moment. It seems to be an issue with the hosting provider. Hopefully we can have this issue resolved soon.

We always pay out our jackpots. As soon as the site is back again we can pay out the 300 BTC jackpot that was recently hit.

I'm very sorry about the inconvenience and I'm sorry about the delay in contacting everyone about this.
