4481  Other / Archival / Re: Do you know legit websites to buy cigarettes online? on: May 19, 2016, 04:06:55 PM
Thread seem very old and I think the reason why OP wants to buy cigarette online is because he is a minor. And probably would sell cigarette in the campus for profit lol.
I do think he'd figured it out now where to buy or he's now old enough to go buy liquors and cigars.

4483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Robin Hood - Steals from Bank and gives to fight ISIS through BTC! on: May 19, 2016, 03:46:43 PM
http://europe.newsweek.com/robin-hood-hacker-donates-stolen-bitcoin-help-fight-isis-461245

What do you guys think? Is this possibly bad for the reputation of bitcoin to private banks and the government?

Well he doesn't look robinhood per se. Robinhood steal from rich and gave it to the poor. ISIS group isn't poor, they can launch war. poor don't do that, they rather buy food on their table not ammunition.
He isn't Robinhood he is a terrorist that's what he is.
4484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A4C - Automated Cryptocurrency Trading Bots on: May 19, 2016, 03:36:29 PM

This small but valid downtrend line (tested 3 times) broke with heavy volumes. This had as a result the upcoming uptrend that we experienced the last 3 days and generated significant profits for those who were in long positions.

Notice the contraction of these Bollinger bands (long contractions ofted lead to big breakouts) and their expansion right after the downtrend line broke. The upper band experienced heavy tests for 2 days. Now the middle 20 SMA line of the Bollinger bands seems to have been penetrated so we would not be surprised if this correction continues until it reaches the lower bounder.

Interesting. so we can use the bot on mt4 of FXCM to trade crypto?
its a considerable success rate If lets say we get to profit from 7 out of 10 trades using the bot, beyond that would be better. When are you going to release the final version?
4485  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 bitcoin = 200k dollars on: May 19, 2016, 02:52:24 PM
This would be really something of the price per Bitcoin was 200k, if this happens and I am still making using of Bitcoin I will sell all my coins at once. But to be realistic we no that we are way to far away for this to even think about it.

Of course its way too far and may never going to happen in the future. Its probably going to be the opposite due to the new and better coin with no issues.
IT may not even reach $600 this halving, that's what i believe because users will use their btc to buy ETH during halving.
4486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: May 19, 2016, 02:44:36 PM
No one is going to care about smart contracts soon...the world economy is in free fall..BTC is a safe haven like precious metals there are a few other projects that could be used as safe havens like BTC... eth will just die like the rest.
eth the future...that joke isn't even funny
Bitcoin does something that fiat can't do..that gives it value...what does ETH do that BTC can't...nothing..so whats it worth in reality..not much...now a project that aimed at a niche market that BTC is moving away from could be a success in the future..but anything competing with BTC will fail...BTC can do everything eth can do if it wants...but their are somethings BTC can never do if it wants to become mainstream...thats what other projects are for  Wink I'm sure you can guess that project.

Keep holding onto to Myspace, keep holding.

Exactly. Its been years since its been left behind, its now facebook. Same thing will happen if you keep holding your bitcoin when someday it will be instinct such myspace.
A better one will always come out to replace to the one. Forget BTC!
4487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth will skyrocket the next days on: May 19, 2016, 02:22:53 PM
My crystal ball shows me that ETH is not going to skyrocket anymore, that part is alrdy over. The price is overvalued/overhyped, it is maxed out.

Buying now is FOMO and you're ready to getting REKT.

ETH already started climbing yesterday. there is still 8 days before the IPO ends so during these 8 days, ETH will continuously go up and may not even go down after because ETH will still accumulate demands to buy DAO. I believe both will benefit.
4488  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 bitcoin = 200k dollars on: May 19, 2016, 09:55:35 AM
The chance is really low that it can reach and if that will reach that high value than there will be a lot of people that is going to use Bitcoin and they will be all rich and that happens not that easy.
Because the price of Bitcoin is not even rising now so you can wait a long time until it will become that value.

I use to believe bitcoin will be huge in the future too. I'm not that convinced anymore when it comes to that.
The devs just lost its creativity and almost made the coin useless apart from paying and gambling. After halving it may plummet down.
4489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][slock.it][Company] IoT meets blockchain - A TheDAO proposal on: May 19, 2016, 09:52:48 AM
I went all in DAO some week ago. It is hard to resist a 50/50 chance lottery.
It looks like i got in at the right time anyway before ETH took off.

Now it is time to just sit back and hope for the best.

I was planing to buy ETH for DAO yesterday and the price went up.
ETH sure made it right this time. If DAO will be widely use in the future as a token to invest on projects, DAO will also have higher value too which we all want.
4490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 19, 2016, 09:30:38 AM
Those ETH, DAO and Dash as far as i know have wallets too.

Is there going to be a Windows wallet released for this new coin ? I like to keep my coins in my desktop wallet and to this day I only dealt with Bitcoin and Litecoin, so I know really nothing about these new coins like Etherium, DAO, Dash...

Lite client will have offline wallet storage option and you will be able to run it on any device so it will be much simpler to use for the end-users.

That's a good thing. Maybe you will also have a web wallet as an option for thoes who only have few waves like me. Hard drive wallet is great though, synchronizing however is just a pain in the ass.
4491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jolly Trades - Jian Jolly's cryptocurrency speculation thread on: May 19, 2016, 07:43:59 AM

this is a great Topic in this section, i wonder why there is not much activity in it from over a month ago when its started!

i will definitely follow this topic, and @JollyTrades please do continue posting here with more of your cryptocurrency speculations.

Maybe because like the rest of the users who knows technical analysis don't coordinate well in terms of cryptocurrencies since the market is mostly drive by the development of projects and manipulation.

@BitcoinHodler,

Thanks for the nice words! Unfortunately, I don't have much time to have a look at different altcoins, since I trade no crypto to be honest. But I will definitely try to keep the BTC and ETH charts updated.

Here we go with how Ether looks at the moment:

Tested head-and-shoulder didn't allow a break down, after which the double bottom drove the market higher, conforming the daily TL (green dashed line). Now we are both in the shoulder level of the mini H&S at the all-time high, and also at the target level of the double bottom. If the market breaks above this level, it will signal further buying; on the other hand, if the green line breaks down, the double bottom level is targeted.

Link to the idea: ETHUSD 1h TA

it had a strong support level below just on 7.2, you could anticipate it will go bull after. why didn't you use candle sticks?
4492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 19, 2016, 06:48:04 AM
I hope you won't buy more WAVES before ICO ends and decide to buy from Poloniex after it hit the markets. Cheesy
Everytime you buy WAVES my overall WAVES balance is decreasing and I hate to see it melting.

Now I only have about 350+ Waves, i wish the ICO ends. I'm not buying and i can't buy more since my coins are tied somewhere else too.
So its confirmed that WAVes are going to be released first on Polo?

Don't worry I am just a little fish too, got a little bit more than you around 1.6k left form 2.5k originally bought so by the end I look at owning around 1k with the fb and twitter and subscription bounties on top, not sure how much we will get for those but Ideally I would have liked at least 3k WAVES but I will be lucky to have 2k by the end of the ICO, which makes me a WAVES PLANKTOn lol.   Grin Grin

You're still lucky enough. I've joined to their facebook and twitter only lately, I'm hoping to gather around 500 in all. Its not so bad if their price goes up like how ETH did.

Was the system built to register your facebook / twitter / mailing list bounties to your sig campaign bounty / ICO page?

Might have missed the announcement for this and would still like to register it ofcourse.

Not sure how they'd do it but they'd probably contact each of their followers to give tokens away.
4493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO | 15% BONUS | FULL ESCROW | AFFILIATE COMMISSIONS | TESTNET on: May 19, 2016, 06:34:54 AM

Its only now that I get to read about the Acre Project. I must have misunderstood it too but is ACRE another token to be on ICO too?

Quote
Depending on the success of the ICO it will allow Acre to take place.

How much BTC is needed for it to be started?
4494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mycelium's "crowdsale": basically a donation, not an investment by any means on: May 19, 2016, 06:24:25 AM
But as mycelium has stated, they are aiming to become a full blown finance company. Their fees should be able to fund their dividends.

They've gathered 4,772.686 BTC! imagine that. They sure are serious and knowns what they are doing.
Crowdsale is almost over and i've read somewhere that they can get their tokens right after it. If I only have the funds, I may have bought shares.
4495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 19, 2016, 06:09:38 AM
Although it is true that each token's value increases as the personal token count goes down, there is something most people seem to be missing. The less tokens you have means the less impact your supply will have when the POS starts. This dwindling personal token count is bad news for those who actually want to hold this token and earn a small income through the POS leasing. As a small investor in Waves, I'm beginning to feel overwhelmed.
Small waves investor.

Then I guess it only means one thing, they need to buy more Waves now.  Grin
The more waves the more you gain when its value skyrocket anyway. ICO by this time however don't have bonuses.

it is always recommended to deposit from personal wallet.

Why does it matter as long as the BTC makes it to its destination I should not need anymore information (address or priv key sent from) in order to claim my waves right.

Assuming that the transaction goes through, why would a personal wallet be better than an exchange wallet (after the transaction clears)?

if it goes to a personal wallet, then its theirs and no one else can get it from them. if its stored on exchange sites, then the exchange owns it.
4496  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to the price of bitcoin after block halving..?? on: May 19, 2016, 05:10:18 AM
the price will get dumped down very hard. that's what will happen after the block halving. people have been hyping up the block halving to a point where it can only make people disappointed with their fantasy predictions.

The price may soar high for few days after halving but it won't be long it will gradually go down while the transition is going on. We may all be using better coin later.
ETH is going to be a major coin later, it will be widely use.
4497  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New Trader Need Help on: May 19, 2016, 04:33:44 AM
Hi everyone,

New to trading - looking for some good techniques on when to enter my trades.

Can anybody here point me in a good direction?

Thanks!

Trading needs skills and of course capital.
you may wanna have accounts on poloniex or bittrex, you'll find their trading platform handy and you can set the price on which you can execute the buy order and so are the sell order. good luck
4498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex Noob Question on: May 19, 2016, 04:25:17 AM
Poloniex has mobile Apps that you can download, maybe that would also help you monitor your order.

If I place a stop-limit-order and than log off and shut down the computer:

Will the order still be executed?

Sorry for this fucking dumb question  Wink

Others have already answered your questions, so I will offer you some advice, first, make sure to set up a decent password, activate 2FA, and NEVER leave significant amounts of Cryptos in exchanges for too long, of course, thats for the most paranoids, but if you don't control the private keys, then they aren't really your funds.

If someday Poloniex acts differently, we'll know from the posts of some users here to warn us all and hope that it won't be too late for us to withdraw the funds.
4499  Other / Archival / Re: Start your own Bitcoin/altcoin casino with BetterBets.io source code. on: May 19, 2016, 03:50:18 AM

Does the license includes support when customized?

If you own BTC/Altcoin casino, it does not mean you can make fast profit. Yes, some BTC Dices sites make a lot of BTC as  profit, but it is not so easy task - you must have fast download time, active and wide spread advertising, cool faucet etc.  Wink

Not an easy task indeed. It will involve a lot of marketing so an investor would have to pull out more than 20BTC for the casino site to be known.
And maintaining the users to have the thrill to make them stay on the site is another stage.

Partnering with someone before buying might be good option and then let users also invest to the site.
4500  Other / Archival / Re: Do you have paypal account even though you have bitcoin? on: May 19, 2016, 03:32:39 AM
I still have my paypal account incase I need one. I use to receive thousands of USD on my account monthly and then send some to few of my team and withdraw. If it weren't because of the huge transaction fee i wouldn't be looking for alternative.  Bought bitcoin thru my paypal back then.
