4501  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what are the things to consider when looking for a good exchange? on: June 19, 2019, 07:30:21 AM
I am a trader or at least that is how i see myself. I trade on binance, okex, idex, mercatox, bittrex, houbi and some other exchange. Lately i notice a lot of new crypto exchange popping here and there. And as much as i know and safe guard my password and secure my account with 2fa, I am still curious of the factors other traders consider when they are signing up on a new exchange. Would love to know some of your key factors so i might look into those too.

First and foremost, look at the history of the exchange. If they exists for a number of years now, it may further strengthen their position as a trusted/top exchange in the internet. Another thing to look for is their history of security. Although all exchanges are prone to scamming, look for exchanges that has tight-security. Lastly, exchanges vary on the price of their trades. This may be a key factor on determining which type of exchange website one should use.

Good exchanges also has a good reputation based from the trader or user community this includes no scam accusations, no hacking incidents, no malicious activities like funds disappearing, best security practices applied and most of all a good exchange has a huge volume which may satisfy a buyer or a seller to make transactions faster and easier and more convenient.

Even exchanges with a good reputation have been "hacked: and stolen money from their customers.  No matter how reputable an exchange is the coins aren't truly yours unless you hold the private keys yourself.

No exchange is safe from hacking due to their nature existing in the internet. I would take your advise to have your private keys stored in a physical hardware for maximum security. But some reputable exchanges have insurance that can answer assuming that their system has been hacked and stolen.

4503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: June 16, 2019, 03:51:26 PM
<snip...>

Just to mention, quitting something that you are addicted to is NEVER EASY especially if it becomes part of your daily routine. Despite that, I do agree on the points you provided in order to help someone quit there addiction in general.

Everything starts in the mind. If you have the will, patience, determination, and motivation to quit your addiction then that would be the first step. Further steps would involve applying external factors (i.e. doing recreational activities, doing things that distracts you, etc.) but the internal mindset is the most difficult to perform.

I would also suggest that you also need someone to rely on if you are struggling to quit your addiction. If you have family that needs your support or someone you love who is willing to help you with your situation, let them be your primary motivation and inspiration to make this leap out of your misery.
4504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is anonymous betting a desired feature? on: June 15, 2019, 10:56:04 AM
I'm working on a football (soccer) betting site, and I'd like to know if it is worth the effort to add the feature to allow no-registration bets. Has it ever been a deciding factor when you pick a site to bet on?

The anonymity factor that online gambling provides is what makes people choose over physically going to casinos. Being anonymous in your transactions provides safety and convenience to the user especially when dealing with large amounts of trading.

In online gambling sites in our country that is already registered in the government, KYC is really need and I agree with it. However, I like to gamble without sending my personal information to other people so I'd choose the online gambling sites that doesn't require KYC to gamble. Crypto gambling sites doesn't need KYC to gamble and that is the one I'm using in gambling right now.

Personally, I would not risk revealing any kind of personal information especially in gambling sites. That is why websites that contain any KYC feature are things that I avoid when looking in a gambling site. It has its share of benefits but the negative merits outweigh the positive implications of it in the long-run.

4506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I pay with Bitcoin? on: June 15, 2019, 05:53:16 AM
Soooo... any other places where I can shop with BTC aside from these five? https://cryptotradernews.com/insights/5-places-where-you-can-pay-with-bitcoin/

Would love to transition all of my family expenses to crypto!

Thanks in advance!

It primarily depends on your country whether some services or business accept bitcoin or not. Fortunately, there are businesses who view bitcoin as an alternative payment to their product but it really depends on the current status of bitcoin in your country. Preferably, I would suggest that you research about the current condition of cryptocurrencies to know if they are acceptable as an alternative payment.

4507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling frustration and depression on: June 08, 2019, 04:15:07 AM
Do you ever feel this before because you didn't achieve your goal and you lose all your savings because of greediness?

The problem with gambling stems from the mindset of an individual thinking that he/she can garner large amounts of profit in a short-amount of time. With that kind of mindset, their planning and decision-making become hampered by that thought which slowly leads to addiction. Addiction, on the other hand, has the potential to spiral out-of-control especially if you experience a roller-coaster experience wherein you win/loss every time you gamble.

People who gamble think that they can become millionaires- which is entirely possible but the risks overwhelmingly outweighs the merits. Only a relatively amount of skill is involved while LUCK being the primary factor in determining one's success.

If you want to become rich, deviate yourself and understand that WORKING HARD and doing it SMARTLY is the key to become such. If you chase for profits by taking the short-cut but with lots of bumps, you may destroy your career and your life with you.

Hello, which tools you are using to check Plagiarized  texts?

Please refer to the links below which could assist you in busting fake ICOs and plagiarized WhitePapers:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5004397.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4586576.0

As for my method, I only copy-paste the paragraphs of each WhitePaper in google and check if there are overlapping texts in the document. Good luck!

Hi,

Upon checking the WhitePaper, the first few contents are heavily plagiarized from this article:
https://www.scmp.com/business/article/2145773/balis-luxury-real-estate-profits-tourism-and-investment-growth

I would highly advise to cite your sources and give credit to the article that you copied your contents from. I'm not saying that your project is a SCAM but a plagiarized WhitePaper speaks a lot about the project.

Bigyan kita ng example: 3-5 weeks ago, presyo ng bitcoin nag-lalaro around P300,000-P350,000 with little resistance. Ngayon, nasa P450,000-P460,000 na ang current presyo sa market ngayon.

I highly advise na bumili ng bitcoin around P400,000 range at gawin itong short-term investment para makapag-yield ng profit depende sa kaya niyo na capital.
