461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rate my portfolio on: January 31, 2018, 07:56:31 AM
i suggest that you add an allocation for eth, ltc, waves, and strat.
you can also swap some xrp and xlm into btc and doge.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins still dropping in price on: January 31, 2018, 06:50:51 AM
Btc hasnt dropped very much more and it seems like some alts like linda, verge, and electroneum are still dropping how long will it yake for them to rise back up

Because those altcoins you said are increased huge in the last month. They definitely need a correction whether bitcoin price increases or decreases. Linda increased from 4 satoshis to 93 satoshis, still higher than the initial price. Verge increased from 54 satoshis to 1725 satoshis, still higher than the initial price.
I guess you might have bought from the top and waiting for further increase but I do not think those coins will increase from now on. Every small increase should be a selling opportunity.
you are right every increase is an opportunity to sell and earn profits. it's a different thing if op makes a long-term investment and should not worry about this decline.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Massive dip - what are you buying for the short term? on: January 31, 2018, 05:19:53 AM
Just as the title says, what are you buying now at a massive discount to unload in the near future?

ADA is below $.50 right now
EOS is around $11.50
IOTA is at $2.25
ETC is $27

All of which I have 0 of in my portfolio.

__________________________________________

What are you guys buying and what should I be considering to add to my portfolio right now?

I have about $2k I would like to use during this dip (which could end some time tonight).

big discount, I agree with your speech. for now i will buy btc, eth, ltc, dash and xmr.
if you want to add portfolio, maybe you can consider xlm, waves and doge.

do not miss this opportunity  Shocked Cheesy
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do altcoins affect BTC? on: January 31, 2018, 02:20:10 AM
It's like this:

Bitcoin goes up, all the altcoins, shitcoins, and scamcoins go up.

Bitcoin goes down, all the altcoins, shitcoins, and scamcoins go down.

there is one exception (a decent amount of the time) -- that being Ethereum  ... which is the only digital currency other than Bitcoin worth putting money in atm.

I also see the same thing as you, if bitcoin becomes a sign alt will go up or down.

But I am still confused by your saying that ethereum is worthy of being provided in atm money. What is your reason?
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the adult (porn) & betting coins with the most potential? on: January 30, 2018, 03:34:38 PM
Hey guys,
All shilling aside, what do you think are the
betting & porn coins, with the most potential?
I wont recommend nothing about these kind of coins. I dont know whats on their minds why do create such coin knowing that its not really necessary to have this or being considered on creating a project towards it.
Im sure there are current coins that you asked for but dont actually know the names and im not sure if they would last or not. I just dont like the idea.
just as I feel and I will never support this kind of project. but it's all about business and money, adult or porn movie fans are overwhelming and developers see this an opportunity. but honestly I really do not like this and just like you that I do not like the idea of a project like this.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coin for short term investment. . on: January 30, 2018, 02:46:01 PM
if you want a short-term investment, you can look at coinmarketcap and invest in the top 10 alt there. because its trading volume is huge and the movement is fast. do research, before you make an investment.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Etherdelta hacked again? on: January 30, 2018, 05:51:27 AM
I think there is no problem in etherdelta, I just access and trade there. I heard that the official account twitter etherdelta is being suspended by the twitter, maybe this is causing his twitter account is not active.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: tokens listed on exchanges after ICO on: January 30, 2018, 02:01:41 AM
I was wondering, when buying tokens on ICO, is there any 'guarantee' that the token will be listed on an exchange?
there is no guarantee.

In other words - how can one know for sure that an ICO token/coin will be included on an exchange after the ICO is finished?
no investor can know when the token can be listed in exchanges. only developers who know this and they will give an announcement when the token is listed in an exchange.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tha best undervalued projects at the moment in the crypto world on: January 30, 2018, 01:44:43 AM
of the 5 projects you mentioned, I am only interested in iota and I have invested there.
this is the main reasons why I invest in iota.
- Offline transactions.
- Zero transaction costs.
- Potential for indefinite scalability.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: exchanged at idex.market on: January 29, 2018, 02:33:01 PM
idex seem to work somehow like etherdelta in terms of importing your private key. Personally, I don't prefer using my private key in exchanges especially if I have all my tokens in that address (just to be safe). If you want to trade all of your tokens in there and willing to import your private key, then follow this step by step guide: How to find your wallet address, deposit, withdraw and send to another wallet from IDEX
it seems the look of idex site is easier to understand than etherdelta. so this idex is equal to etherdelta? is idex also decentralized?
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO are you investing in and why? 2018 on: January 29, 2018, 01:54:48 PM
There are a lot of nice ico and potentially roi quickly. It is very interesting and also has an exciting bonus. I am also interested in vestarin and will consider it to invest there. I think vestarin has a unique platform, they offer store owners, services, exchange points and ICO representatives to integrate their business into the vestarin platform. The vestarin platform also offers a range of latest technologies and provides news about cryptocurrency for its users.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulating Cryptocurrencies" on: January 29, 2018, 04:55:31 AM
I fully support the Russian government's policy of regulate production and control of cryptocurrencies. We all await its results and hopefully many countries will follow the steps taken by the Russian government. I am also excited when Germany and France have proposed to discuss the regulation of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the upcoming G20 summit in Buenos Aires.

Hopefully this is all happening and not just a mere issue.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔴 🔴 🔴 Attention: KYC for Bounties 🔴 🔴 🔴 on: January 29, 2018, 02:43:04 AM
This is what I am afraid of providing personal data in terms of bounty campaign. I honestly avoid and do not want to participate in a campaign that has a kyc, but the requirements of the kyc are often added in the middle or end of the campaign and the campaign participants must surrender to meet those requirements.

I have experience about this, 5 years ago when I signed up and played in gambling sites. I gave the phone number to verify the account, but after 4 years I never played in the site, I still get these messages and messages precisely from other gambling sites. Until now I always receive 3-5 messages per day about gambling promo from different sites. It is obviously very disturbing comfort and privacy.

From this experience I really avoid any thing related to kyc. Differences of opinion pros and cons always happen, all have advantages and disadvantages.

475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: better profit on: January 28, 2018, 05:42:13 AM
This is only in my opinion and experience, there will always be differences between us. All of them have profit and risks.

ICO Initial Coin Offering
Disadvantages
- Token difficult to listed in exchange (especially popular exchanges)
- Token price far below ico price
- Ico sites vulnerable to hack attacks / ico funds taken away by developers (scam)
Note: If we choose ico wrong
Advantages
- Investors get token with cheap price and also bonus tokens.
When ico is finished and the token is registered in exchanges, the investor sells his token at a high price / they sell his bonuses to return the capital and the rest of the tokens are a profit for the long term investment.
Note: If ico is successful (soft or hard cap).

Trade and Hold for long-term investment.
All control is in our hands, if we are smart to do research and choose right, definitely get profit. So also for the reverse.

The most fundamental difference is.
Ico: If the distribution has not been done, then our assets are still in the hands of the developer.
Trade / Hold: The assets and control is in our hands.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ICO with great potencial on: January 26, 2018, 03:48:31 PM
there are some new projects that interested me and soon ico will start.
daneel, credits and belugapay. do you already know about this project? maybe I will do research first, before I join into its ico.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEW Wallet Sending Error on: January 18, 2018, 08:47:29 AM
you can try to set gas limit and gas price (gwei) greater than you used yesterday. gas limit set to 100k or 120k and gas price 51 gwei or more. your account must have 0.01 eth, good luck.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UPCOMING ICO in 2018? on: January 18, 2018, 08:35:07 AM
some of these ico I will consider for my investment later. rootproject, credits, belugapay and tokenomy. but before participating in the ico we have to do research and you can discuss with your local community.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Transfer my TRX from Binance Now or wait?? on: January 18, 2018, 08:23:18 AM
Im currently holding about 7000 trx in binance.  I do want to hold for long term.  But the withdraw fees on binance are high.  Should I do it now, or wait in hopes for an adjustment on the withdraw fee.
there will be no change in trx withdrawal fees in the binance, it means there is no difference if you withdraw it now or the future. but if you want a small or cheap withdrawal fee, you can swap it into a doge, because the cost of doge withdrawal is very cheap.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I got this idea about eSports and betting. Opinions? on: January 16, 2018, 07:28:59 AM
it sounds interesting, but I think you should give something more interesting than you offer here. we know there are so many gambling industries available today, they race to be the best and try get the most users in the gambling industries.
