Thanks, I posted it on our Facebook account and will get to Reddit tomorrow.

Great read! I have the feeling that Peershares is going to be much more clear and easy to use than that huge and cloudy ethereum/blockchain 2.0 project (or platform?).
That's the plan. Rather than trying to do a million things, Peershares focuses on this one area and tries to succeed at it. It also makes for a quicker development schedule.

Yuri, I had to add this in here. It's the most liked meme we've ever featured on our Facebook page...

I think it's important to note that Peershsares functionality won't be included in the initial release of Peerunity. That will come when it's done testing and ready to be included. Since public testing is going to start soon, hopefully it won't be too long.

Hi, we're currently hiring a Senior C++ Developer and a QA Engineer to work on the Peershares project. Peershares is a revolutionary project, which will provide a way for businesses to raise funds by issuing shares to the public and managing them in a decentralized fashion. It uses the Peercoin network to automate the distribution of associated dividends in the form of Peercoins. Below are some details about each position. You can use the contact info listed to find out more.More Peershares Info:http://www.peercointalk.org/index.php?topic=527.0Senior C++ DeveloperWe are presently looking for an experienced C++ developer with a passion for cryptoassets to join the Peershares team. Jordan Lee is amazing! "I have said in the past that Peercoin development will be provided and funded by our Peershares team in the future. Today that future arrives. The Peershares project will be funding user interface based minting (aka one button minting) and will also provide Peercoin branding (updating PPCoin branding) for the client in our first Peerunity release." I love it! It is a great idea, which is in impressive development: http://www.peercointalk.org/index.php?topic=527.0This is in fact one of the next steps to free the world. Bitcoin created an idea and provided an implemenation to transfer money. Peershare will provide a concept for funding (amongst other things) with the same prerequisites as Bitcoin has for transferring money: trust in the solution itself, but no trust to other parties required! As Peershares is designed to work (initially) together with Peercoin it will assist and boost Peercoin's development. It's awesome! MoD, there are so many people here that don't realize what they're missing out on. It's so sad seeing these scam coin threads generate so many replies while true innovative projects like these that are funded with hundreds of thousands of dollars go ignored. There are too many people that are blind and unaware to the developments that are happening in their very own backyard.

This is amazing news everyone. We've so far been held back when wanting to improve the official Peercoin wallet. This community client will allow everyone to contribute. We can build something truly special and easy to use, while Sunny King continues to focus on the Peercoin protocol. Who knew Peershares would be such a big deal when Jordan first posted about it!

Is anyone working on releasing a Mac version of the wallet app? I've got the daemon working, but don't want to deal with building a distributable version of the wallet. OTOH If someone starts a bounty I'd willing to contribute.
I believe Ben on PeercoinTalk was working on it.

Fuzzy, that's great you're working on these changes. Hopefully a lot of the ppcoin references are wiped out as well.

Peercoin.
Once Peershares is released by Jordan Lee and his team, big things will be happening.
