461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you fight for satoshi? on: September 06, 2018, 12:24:01 PM
Many companies, banks and goverments are lobbying against bitcoin, while praising the blockchain technology Sathoshi invented. Soon they will use the open source software to develop their own blockchains, without ever expressing gratitude to satoshi or the bitcoin community. Isn't that stealing?

Would you fight for Satoshi when it gets though?
  • Delete facebook, google, twitter if they would try something?
  • Protest your goverment, if they try to ban?
  • Close your bank account forever?

Nobody knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is. There is no one who could say with certainty that such a person existed at all. Therefore, there is no need to do anything for this person.
462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Market is down. on: September 06, 2018, 12:22:30 PM
Now began at the very last stage during which many impatient people come out of the bitcoin investors. All those who are very worried and do not know how to be calm, all those who do not understand that for every recession will follow the ascent.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodlers will not change the world on: September 06, 2018, 12:20:53 PM
I believe that people who are bitcoin holders are also doing a fairly useful thing for the community, they do not allow the bitcoin course to fall too low.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARREN BUFFET says Bitcoin won't end well on: September 02, 2018, 02:38:35 PM
Without a doubt, Buffett is a respected businessman and knows a lot about many things. However, do not rely on his opinion on this issue. He is just a man and can not see the whole picture of what is happening. He is also a representative of the older generation. The older generation was always famous for having conservative views on any innovations and technologies.

466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: August 30, 2018, 01:08:20 PM
Bitcoin definitely has competition! If we look at Ethereum it provides faster transactions at a lower fee. Ethereum also enables wide range of application by the means of smart contracts.
Im a big fan of bitcoin and i agree that it has no competion and even that there will some altcoins will grow very well in the future like ethereum and eos for sure they can not come up with bitcoin and i know bitcoin will continue to dominate the market.
I would not be so sure about such things. Look at the capitalization of major currencies. The ethereum needs to be exerted not so much effort to become the number one.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who sells BTC now? on: August 30, 2018, 01:06:08 PM
Now they sell bitcoin only to those who very urgently needed money and can not afford it otherwise. Or fools. All the other smart people are buying again.
468  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you Think the True Value of Bitcoin Is? on: August 30, 2018, 01:04:48 PM

We can not tell the true value of bitcoin. Because it changes with time. The value does not stay in one value. Because the value of a bitcoin in the previous year is about 20000 dollars. It's around $ 7,000 today. Therefore, its real value can not be determined. This is decided on demand. It is certain that this will rise to an incredible value in the future. But its worth is not exact. Investing heavily in bitcoin. This is over the next few years.
The value of bitcoin is unstable in nature. However, over time, its value will only grow. probably forecasts about the price of $ 1,000,000 will turn out to be real in 10 years.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin? on: August 30, 2018, 01:02:25 PM
Fools can only be called those who bought bitcoin at 20,000 and then sold it to 6,000. That's really - stupid people. The rest of those who hold it and do not sell it - do very correct things.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency on: August 30, 2018, 12:59:53 PM
only time will tell when will Bitcoin to become the main currency in the world because even the government in the world prevents it from happening. Even the central bank don't want it to happen and they will do in their power to prevent it.
I would not argue that the central banks are categorically against bitcoin. Rather, we can say differently - they wait when final control is obtained over bitcoin.
471  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW TO protect yourself from Scammers on: August 30, 2018, 12:49:33 PM
Completely avoid the likelihood of contact with scammers will likely be very difficult, but every person should try to comply with at least the minimum requirements for security while on the Internet.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 30, 2018, 12:43:50 PM
In order that bitcoin could be painlessly integrated into the world financial system, it should take a very long time and a lot of effort should be made, including by the bitcoin core developers.
473  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: August 29, 2018, 09:50:44 PM
I think that there is no cause for concern. The people who bought the main crypto-exchanges, such as a Bittrex, Bitfinex etc., are now interested in keeping the Tether the way it is. I think that now we will not see a real audit of the Tether for a very long time.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much damaged bitcoin has brought you? on: August 29, 2018, 09:45:53 PM
I had a small scale investment on bitcoin and i invested on it when the market price is 30% higher. I never thought that market is going to fall down which results to the loss of some of my money if i will sell my bitcoin holdings now. Seeing the market price i consider it as a damage which is 30%. Well if i may ask you do you feel any damage right now? I wanna know who are those people who are investing prior to the market price fall down?
You do not need to consider that you have losses. In the long term, you will not have any losses. The number of bitcoins that you own remains the same. You do not need to be guided by the price in dollars. Understand that in 10 years the price of your bitcoins can be 50-100 times more than now.

476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: August 26, 2018, 02:18:55 PM
I think that such forms of deposits will soon become available to the general public in developed countries. First of all, it will be available in such countries as Japan, Switzerland, Singapore. Because these strange ones are the most loyal to crypto-currencies and related projects.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world? on: August 26, 2018, 02:16:31 PM
Guys we are very much aware how the crypto community through this great forum has helped most of us in terms of our finances but is so heartbreaking that the most of the public views only describes how insecure and unsafe the crypto community is. I do understand that cryptocurrencies are volatile and the issue of anonymity sometimes scares people away but y'all bear with me that if  crypto is explained to you and you really understand it properly you would not make wrong mistakes and get swayed away by panic sales or submit your private key as ethereum wallet address. Is it a public campaign or some other form of tutorial that we should organize to help explain crypto to the world because believe it or not the blockchain technology of cryptocurrencies is being admired by most organizations and some of them have decided to run their operations with the use of blockchain technology. What can we do as a community to help change the public view of Crypto?
In order to change the public view of crypto currency, it is necessary to take measures to raise awareness of this among the population. Very many people who are not well informed about what crypto currencies are - become victims of scammers creating scam-ICO. If the government and the public held any activities aimed at raising awareness, this could be avoided.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: August 26, 2018, 02:03:07 PM
HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET
Protect yourself from cyber criminals

Good day to all of you guys I am EdsnowAngel a programmer and a bit security tester in different platforms. Now I heard to my friends a lot of concerns saying "please help me my bitcoin wallet was hacked!!"
Ok ok first thing first when your bitcoin wallet gets compromised then your funds was send in different wallet then it is irreversible meaning no return of funds!! so I wanna tell everyone how to protect your bitcoin wallet from such kind of situation.

1st: Protect your GMAIL or EMAIL ACCOUNT

We all know we use GMAIL as our email provider for such accounts like blockchain then we can recover and approve login with email in some wallets, now when your email account was targeted and get compromised then say goodbye to your bitcoin. To secure your bitcoin wallet(ex: blockchain or other) go to your google account settings. and then turn on the 2FA(2nd factor authentication) here is the guide on how to do it: STEP BY STEP GUIDE

2nd: Use your own DEVICE or COMPUTER/PHONE

It's a very bad idea to use someones device(ex:from friend) to make a transaction in your bitcoin wallet why? because first you don't know what is the capability of that person regarding that matters and you don't know if that phone has a lot of malwares and spywares. So we cannot say that you are safe using someones device to make transactions.

3rd: Always backup you PK's or PRIVATE KEYS

This is the most important thing to remember for everyone using your ETH or BTC wallet without backing up your Private keys then you can't recover you wallet in case you forgot your wallet.PK's are very important but there are thing you should do first. Make sure you store your PK backup somewhere that you only know and not from your computer because there are some spyware that might inside of your computer that can steal that file so make sure you back it up print in a paper and hide it to the place where you only know.

4th: Don't open links from malicious emails

This method was called email phishing where an attacker will send the same email in thousands of random users once the victim will click the link in that email then his or her device was compromised to avoid this please do not click the links included in the email immediately please always have time to check who is the sender of that email and if that email is came from the site where it supposed to came from.

5th: Do not trust PUBLIC WIFI

It's quite good to have access with free wifi's but have you think this: IS THIS A SAFE NETWORK? without you knowing maybe some of the people connected to that same network may have idea and skill on how to sniff passwords and credentials this method was so called DNS SPOOFING or SNIFFING if you want to use public wifi then use it not just with your bitcoin transactions.

6th: Do not login on Suspicious links

This method is called PHISHING where an attacker  will send you a link to login with your bitcoin wallet luring you with the legitimate site example is:
the real site is: https://www.blockchain.info/
the fake site is: http://www.blockchain.ga/

then once you login to the fake site then the hacker or attacker will have now your credentials. Please always check for the green lock on the url bar and the word HTTPS in the link.

so this are some of the way to stop hackers to hack your bitcoin or crypto wallet. If you have other information then you can comment it down and lets help others.
Well, practically speaking, that was all right to state those informations and guidelines on how you can secure your account to be safe from hackers but believe it or not, we cannot stop those hackers from doing their thing because the less we could know, as much as technology is concerned which is continuously facing innovation, the tools and how this type of people access your account without your notice was also developing innovative way to hack accounts so even we are totally securing our account we cannot stop these hackers but we can certainly prohibit them or avoid them hacking our accounts. Avoidance and security is the key for that thing to happen.
This article is written very much given a lot of recommendations. But, in fact, in order to avoid hacking attempts on the part of hackers, it's enough to have just one thing that can help you with this - it's a hardware wallet.  Use a hardware wallet for each transaction and you will be protected from a large number of all possible attacks.
