461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimum amount to start trading? on: November 04, 2018, 10:41:32 PM
What was the amount with which you started trading
I mean your very basic investment and was that your extra money or required money?
As long as you know you will gain, it is a good start to trade. My guess is $600 upward because the basis here is the amount of capital you entered. Since trading is a means of percentage height, profits we gain will be based upon the percent of hike. Extra money is good to invest because we must think that we just burning money in this industry.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: Price stability on: November 04, 2018, 10:04:58 PM
I'm not even sure whether this is a bad or a good thing right now but this is definitely unusual and I have never seen it before even though I have been in the crypto scene since 2014.

From what I can see the development (Lightning network etc.) is more active than it ever was, so shouldn't that give a little boost to the price at least?
Hopefully yes! But it does not mean that lightning network is only the factor that will boost the price of Bitcoin. We have some news that will attract big investors. Once whales will wake up. I assure that the price continuously moving up. We must not depend on a single information because it may lose and our expectation may despair also.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just one coin... on: November 04, 2018, 09:53:35 PM
Bitcoin is just one coin but most valuable coin living in this world. It has $6400 price, faraway from the coins even in USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia and etc. We can be a millionaire once we hold 10 BTC and it is really a life changer to those who hold it when the price is at 100 dollars.
464  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you ever wonders why we are using this paper as money? on: November 04, 2018, 01:15:49 PM
We are using paper as money because of its evolution. If you are a good historian, you knew it already
During medieval era, barter change or exchange of goods and goals was invented. Because of evolution, from barter, it turned into paying golds or silver per product so that they know it value. Because of scarce resource of gold and silver, people think of other usable material that may change in gold. They invented the paper we are using right now.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy bitcoin because it won't be fine on: November 04, 2018, 07:43:09 AM
Really? But I want to buy bitcoin whatever has it. I have bitcoin in my wallet. Atleast, I wanted to hold bitcoin for my entire life because I know it will grow up and up year by year! But as of now, I just need to buy before the price goes up. Bitcoin is precious in my part and I did not trust any single information that brokes bitcoin.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest in an ICO? on: November 03, 2018, 05:10:12 AM
Investing in requires capital and skills. Why I said that capotal and skills? Because these two factors will give you a profit in ICO. You cannot invest without your capital and you cannot find a good ICO once you don't have knowledge and skills. But as of now, you must not trust in ICO, better to choose trading coins than ICO.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: November 02, 2018, 09:29:13 AM
I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years
You're looking to make 10 times your investment within 2 years?  Dude, you really ought to lower your expectations unless you know something nobody else knows.  And if you plan to make that money in the altcoin market, be prepared for some serious disappointment.  One of these days people are going to figure out that there's no point in owning 99.99% of altcoins on the market, that there will never be any real-world use cases for any of them, and that the only thing they'll ever be good for is trading them with other suckers.

So, as to what to do with $10k.  If I were you, I'd either buy bitcoin (and that's pretty risky itself) and hold it, or I'd wait until the stock market crashes and then buy some good dividend-paying stocks when they're cheap.  Stay out of the shitcoin market if you know what's good for you, because the good times of making easy money aren't going to last.  In 2 years many shitcoins might not even exist anymore--or at least there might not be any buyers for the ones you want to sell.

Good luck and remember to put the dollar sign before the dollar amount.  lol
That's true! Trading is not a gambling where the rewards you will get double than your capital. Trading needs time and 100% increase is not absolutely normal for a coin. Maybe, you can get that when you hold it for a long, long years.
Lower your expectation and know the real thing in trading so that, you manage your risk and reward perfectly.
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: November 01, 2018, 11:27:04 PM
Unhealthy? The irony of trading is that, people are intimidated of their asset to lose but they are happy to see their profits. You just say that it is unhealthy because you seriously looking at the market. If you see the market at the floor, you are stressful because it might lose your capital and if you see that the price go up 10%, you are stressful because you want to grow more! Nah, don't take trading seriously. Its an investment not a problem.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: November 01, 2018, 10:05:21 PM
So saw many self airdrops of ERC20 tokens and wave platforms in social media. They would promise their investors a cheap token price purchase, and in turn promise a good listing price at the exchange. 98% of these self airdrop never make it to exchange, and the few that get listed in a decentralized exchange get pumped for 2hrs and there after dumped forever. Why do you think people still patronize these scamming project and not study good ICOs and buy?
98% of ICO drops severely! There are many ICO I testified nowadays that are scam. Even they succeed and had a greater amount of sale, when they list on exchange, the price is 5x cheaper than ICO price. Its a cancer to ICO investors and in my case, I would not trust ICO because they never had growth right now.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 years anniversary, what good news are you expecting come 2019?. on: November 01, 2018, 05:01:35 AM
i think most people, including me, are looking forward to adoption of lightning network. it is already in use and there are some small businesses are using it on main net but because it is not yet completely ready (from what i understand) no big businesses have yet adopted it. so i am looking forward to that kind of adoption.
All of us want bitcoin to adopt lightning networks because as of now, bitcoin is getting too high fees and slow transaction to every bitcoin user. Most of the people are wanted to see the spot of lightning networks and we are all eager to use the new version of bitcoin. Well, the 1 decade anniversary of bitcoin may become the stepping stone for it to be recognized by Satoshi Nakamoto and take the plan more faster so that, we can use lightning networks.

472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: September 13, 2018, 10:37:49 PM
Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"
As of now, I think it will become true in part of waves since ethereum is really moving down. When a certain coin moves down, definitely the demand from it is losing. Waves will be the next for ethereum and ERC20 token will have conflict because ETH may decline anytime.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you here for the right reasons on: September 13, 2018, 02:34:25 PM
Maybe its high time we worked out the reasons for still being here in the cryptosphere, pinpointing and exploring lucrative interconnected avenues through right research and education.
I know that most of us here wanted to have profits and it is a reason for us to stay in cryptocurrency. Many people are encourage to join at crypto community because this is a new portal of investment and earning of money. However, the market is in the red days and we cannot say it is bull run market today.
474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help! Growing $200 to $5000 in 30 Days on: September 13, 2018, 10:39:42 AM
I'm in a fix! I took a quick loan to invest in a certain business that went really nasty. Used my only car as collateral. I only have less than a month to repay. In a nutshell, I need $5000 in less than 30 days. Got only $200 remaining. I know this is quite challenging but...I'm desperate. Any ideas on how to grow my $200? Cheers!
Gamble your money and win or lose your capital. If you want to gain 25x than your current money, it requires a month or a year in trading specially that the market is bleeding today. However, if you can use your money wisely in buying good coins, you may earn better.
475  Economy / Economics / Re: How do crypto exchange help a cryptocurrency? on: September 12, 2018, 10:22:43 PM
I'm not familiar to the world of trading (even the traditional ones). Can someone explain how a crypto exchange (like Binance or Kraken) benefits a cryptocurrency?
Cryptocurrency exchange becomes the way to exchange the tokens wether it is connected in ERC20 token, NEP token or other smart contract platforms. The exchanges become also the portal of the trader who wants to earn in cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency exchange is good as stock exchange because there are no limits in crypto and it does not required a lot of money though it is advantage in trading.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in predictions of "experts" about the bitcoin price? on: September 12, 2018, 01:05:36 PM
I believe that we should never trust 100% in any prediction about it, even if that person is presented as the greatest expert or master on the subject, because we must always keep in mind that at the beginning of 2017, when the price of bitcoin was just in $1,000, none of those alleged "gurus" was able to predict that the price of bitcoin would reach $20k some months later. And besides, neither was able to predict the tremendous collapse that the market would suffer next.

If those relevant historical events went completely unnoticed by the "experts", I think none of them has real bases to present themselves these days announcing that bitcoin will reach this or that price by the end of the year.
No, because I learned from trading that there is a role reversal. Meaning to say, eventhough there is already a correction to the market, there is no certain point that it may go to the flow. Even analyst can not predict what probable events that will happen in bitcoin price. However, I believe on news but 90% of my reaction comes from my own.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to pick best signature campaign on: September 10, 2018, 02:00:44 AM
What criteria do you guys use to pick your signature campaigns.  With some of them lasting 2-3 months it seems like a critical decision and I'm not quite sure how to go about it.  With all the scams out there I am fearful of picking a junker which not only hurts me but the people looking at my promotions.  I would like to have one picked out for when I switch over to Jr Member.

There are cryptocurrency managers that are trusted, I guess you should make a research about them. If you will see how crypto services management btcltcdigger works, you will see how bounty participants are giving importance. I believe that joining campaign is 50% risk and it is just a matter of timing and filtering to the good projects.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: September 10, 2018, 01:31:26 AM
I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh
When you loss, expect that you will learn from it. When you learn, expect that you will gain from your loss. That's how life should be, we need to lose first before we learn. I know that next time, we will become aware of when we enter or quit in trading perhaps, I am also trying to reverse my trading strategy so that I gain also.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: September 05, 2018, 02:10:29 PM
I'm not one who would invest in precious metals, but I have noticed that a good amount of the older generations are pretty keen in investing in these metals. They see it as a way to bet against the market, and a security that will always be safe -- even in the times of a market downturn/country failure as a whole.

I personally wouldn't even want to buy these metals in those events, as I don't see the reason to. I'd rather invest in securities that go up when the market shits itself (Payroll lending companies and so on and so forth)

Does anyone here know the reason behind people loving precious metals?
Reverse the situation, why millenial people do not like to read at book and prefer to browse at internet? The reason is the time we live on this earth is the time we exposed ourselves on that matter. Old people like to buy golds rather than cryptocurrency because they knew that precious stones are valuable than anything live in this earth. We should just respect them.
480  Economy / Speculation / Re: $7,400 to $6,950: Bitcoin Price Drops 2% Within30 Minutes in Crypto Market Bleed on: September 05, 2018, 02:05:04 PM
When are we going to see an end to this type of panic in the market? The expectation that bitcoin will rise up to $10,000 is the illusion creating this new FUD in the market.

When the fear will eliminates to the eye of the people. If we will see the market movement, there is a slow movement to buying support. It just showed how people fear to invest more in cryptocurrency. As of now, we are not in bull run market because the barrier in 7500 dollars is hard to break specially if the support are too slow.
