641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN][ICO A2A tokens]✅STeX Exchange - ALL Coins, ONE PLATFORM: 10,000+ Crosses! on: April 10, 2018, 06:45:07 AM
For sure, nothings wrong with STeX.exchange. Unlike with other exchanges, STeX team is easily to communicate. In fact, I think it is favorable with them since the target of this project is to hold and aggregate all of existing coins in cryptocurrency. I believe that if you will contact the developer of STeX, your conversation will take smoothly.

I'm also so glad that STeX already finished the first ICO successfully and that this is one project that is safe to invest in. There are so many out there that are fake but STeX has a working MWP, kept their promises and steadily builds this awesome exchange.
As far as I know, the ICO of STeX will end in April 15, 2018 but it seems like they have an early end. Does STeX bullish? Well, it might yes. Hopefully, the listing for STE coin in exchange will grant as fast as it could be.

How does a coin or token get on STeX's Exchange? I wanted to recommend to a token I'm involved with that is having difficulties getting on other exchanges and wondered what the process is.
thanks

As said by the developers earlier, in the first place, are added the coins from the top 100,as far as possible from the top 200, so I think not soon, your coin will be added, but the stex is a good team and I think will listen to the people

But if the token/coin has problems to get listed on other exchanges, it is doubtful that it will get listed on STeX. It's not only that there is a high correlation between getting listed on exchanges and reaching the top 100, it's more about the fact that if a token/coin isn't listed on another exchange, it can't be listed on STeX without integrating it directly (which includes the maintenance of the wallet etc.)
What I'm most looking for is to have a current coin that I'm involved in and let them know about STeX Exchange and let them know what STeX's procedure for listing on their exchange. The coin I have in mind is call IOP (Internet of People) it's a good project and they are making progress. they are on Bittrex but wanted them to do different options. They did get on very small exchanges at least one's that are not well known. IOP had tried Binance but they are very pricey. I was looking to let them know about STeX and the fact that they are any Any to Any Exchange could be very positive for IOP.
thanks

Edited: I found it in the telegram of STeX, for those who want their coin to be listed in STeX. You can vote your coin here;

Things got me cleared when I scanned the few pages of the WP. But when I was halfway of reading, I just notice how does STeX assure us that their exchange will got all of existing cryptocurrency and new ones? I think that after ICO, all of the ICOs will contract the only exchange/s that they want to be part. If that is true, how does STeX aggregate every cryptocurrency?

It is possible because STeX allow to trade coins listed on other exchanges. So if any ICO will show on a particular exchange it will automatically be available on STeX too.
What about the coins that will not like to be in the STeX exchange? In my observation, there are successful ICO who choose exchange based upon they wants and not with the capability of an exchange. Well, I think it does not matter since STeX will be the best exchange in cryptocurrency.

Well, if coin is traded on free market, you can't stop it being listed on exchanges. Look at ForkDelta or any other decentralized exchange, where any ERC20 token can be added whether devs wan't it or not. I think the only thing team can do is not supporting their currency on particular platform. On the other hand, popular exchanges has so many requests that they probably don't have to deal with such problems.

Hm, I never heard of a project that specifically didn't want to get listed on a certain exchange. There are coins that aren't listed, yes, but that's because they didn't apply.

I can't see any drawbacks for a coin or token if it gets listed on exchanges, the more the better as this creates volume.
There's also the difference between coins and tokens as tokens that comply with e.g. the ERC20 or NEP standard they don't have a choice whether they can get lister or not unless they choose not to be tradeable at all, which defeats the purpose in most cases.

Exchange can ignore new cryptocurrency just like what happened in CRED to Kucoin exchange, if I am not mistaken. But coin can't be denied the opportunity to be listed in exchange specially, if that is STeX. For sure, a lot of new coin will go to STeX because of its feature.
Thanks buddies! For getting me cleared in my question. Well, I think it does not matter in STeX exchange because time will come, STeX will become the greates and popular exchange in the world of crypto.
Imagine an exchange that can easily trade any coin to other one. STeX the only exchange that will absolutely solve the problems of the traders.

645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Favorite Altcoin. on: April 06, 2018, 02:32:45 PM
My favorite altcoin is ethereum. All of existing ICOs are alligned in ethereum blockchain and smart contract. I want how ethereum how useful in the world of blockchain technology as well as cryptocurrency. I also think that ethereum price woll surge soon but as of now, let us cherish the price of ethereum because we can invest to it even in a long run.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 9 Ways to Keep Your ICO Funds Secured on: April 06, 2018, 01:08:09 PM
Thanks for your concern. I am also searching for tips to secure the tokens in case I will invest in ICO. A lot of hackers are usually take advantage to those people who are not aware in the cyber world. However, if you take a glance on every tutorial found in YouTube or any channel that talks about crypto, you can learn a lot on how to secure you wallet in order for you to protect from strangers.

Answering questions and being helpful in bitcoin talk thread. will that be counted for bounty for STE Tokens or A2A tokens? would payout be at the end of A2A ICO?
Yes sir! Did you see the pinned message in the STeX group? But I want to emphasize that this thread is made for the investors to clarify their questions and enlighten up their curiosity and misunderstanding about the project. I am here not for the sake of bounty payments only but I want to learn more and support this project.

P.S. A2A tokens will use for payment and it will distribute soon as the B2 will be done!

649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: April 04, 2018, 01:59:30 PM
I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.
I am agree with KYC if I get bunch of airdrop tokens or by bounty campaigns. If I will pass my identity for a just $20 tokens, no way! I don't want to join in an airdrop that requires KYC because I don't want to change my identity for just a few tokens.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Share your best bounty on: April 04, 2018, 05:13:26 AM
Hello, do you have some good bounty campaigns right now? And would you like to share with us?
Because I see there are many new bounties, but many of them are too bad and not worth spending time on.
Thank you for your tips  Cool.

In the past, the signature campaign I've joined was good! They will sending right now the proper allocation to every bounty hunters. But their coins will be listed at the month of July. As of now, I do not know if this campaign I've joined is good as what before but I am believe how the campaign manager works and how the developers handle this project. Hopefully, this project will success in the near future.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: fate is getting lost! on: April 03, 2018, 11:34:30 PM
I am starting to loose hope in Bitcoin. Like really i need to cash out and for me its on its lowest... Undecided
Faith not fate.
Why do you really lost your trust in bitcoin? It proves a lot of years from the day it was invented. The price wasn't back to its peak? Maybe, you need more years to know how long will you hold bitcoins in your wallet. The problem with the new investors of BTC is that, they want to gain daily in bitcoin and hate the bitcoin when they lose much of their money. If you don't want to risk, you must think 1000X before you put your money in the bitcoin wallet.

Now many of these projects are enough. I think that the project can be distinguished only by the quality of the services it provides, which is not in other projects.

A lot of new existing exchange who had the same quality as before but this is only the exchange project I want. From their project name, developers and the usage of this  project. I love the way STeX company integrated and update their project too. Hopefully, this project will successfully launch!
653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee said about Ethereum on: April 02, 2018, 04:13:31 PM
Lately, there are so many who make the speculation that Ethereum will beat the bitcoin price. Including John McAfee also said so and stated the possibility could happen. The smart contracts implemented by Ethereum have allowed companies to collaborate with Ethereum and join to build crypto into a faster payment system than any other system. What factors do you think might allow such speculation to occur?

Source : https://cryptovest.com/news/ethereum-is-central-reminds-john-mcafee/
I believe that ethereum has possibility rather than any altcoins to substitute the reigning bitcoin. It has the capability to support different valued tokens and it can be in a long run investment. Smart contracts of ethereum also helps a lot in launching ICO tokens. In addition to that, ethereum is listed as the top 2 in CMC and top 2 in the largest market cap when it comes in altcoin.

Few weeks ago, I found out this new project in the old thread and I was amazed because when I saw the whitepaper it seems like this will aggregate all of tokens in an exchange. Unfortunately, I did not follow the recent updates until I saw this new thread. Finally, I am here. Hopefully that A2A coin will success! By the way, I am confuse on the exact date that STE will put to the exchange. At the pinned message in telegram it was been stated that 2 days after ICO which is April 17, 2018. But the admin answered the question and he said it will be on June 1, 2018. Which is right?
June 1, 2018 is the real date for the STE tokens will put on the Stex.exchange. I think that the pinned message at the telegram had topographical error that leads to the confusion of individual. I confused also when I saw that because I have my tokens too but right now, it was clear in my mind that the real date was June 1, 2018.

Okay! Its better to understand the difference of the two coins because I want to assure that soon, my STE tokens have value.
Now, STeX runs two different coins in complement. So,  does the two coins have different token sale also? I hope STeX can manage it properly.

As A2A is the 'new' token, it wasn't in a sale. Here is how it'll work:

In addition, in the upcoming STE ICO, the maximum supply will be limited to 30,000,000 STE tokens to be sold, including STE tokens, sold at presale and ICO Stage 1. The rest will be frozen on a separate ETH address till the end of the ICO, then transferred back to the STE ICO smart contract and burned. In case of any amount of unsold tokens left at the end of the ICO within the limit of 30,000,000 STE, it will be transferred to the separate smart-contract known as STE-SHOP, to be distributed on demand at any moment in the future.
Thank you for your effort to answer my question. I think I will read more a lot of STeX whitepaper first in order for me to gather some info's about their ICO. I totally missed out the updates in STeX, so I've been too late for the news of this project.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Hard Cap and Soft Cap" on: March 31, 2018, 11:24:10 AM
Softcap and hardcap are the measurement of the ICOs success for me. If the softcap is reach then there is a possibility that the project will success! Specially if the hardcap is reach during the campaign period. Some of ICOs are bullish and the possibility of getting the hardcap takes a few time!

A single negative review can damage the company's prestige and profitability. So how could Lina.Review can tell if a certain review is not bias?

I guess these reviews can only be posted by helpers, and these helpers undergo qualifications before they can be appointed being a helper, so let us call that filtering process, and saying negative review as long as they have proof about it will never be biased and will help customers a lot and at the same time making the product owner to enhance their service and make more quality products.

So it means reviews written by common users to a certain business company are being filtered and approved first before it appears on their profile?
And after the filtering what are they going to do with the negative ones, hide or dispose?

Why would they need to hide a negative review? If this is the case the transparency is useless. LINA review is not about positive reviews. It is about using blockchain technology, qualifying the reviewers and giving the most reliable review on the market. Only when companies learn to accept criticism that they can grow. As for the common users review this may also be reflected but I think the helpers review will be used in rating the product being reviewed. Again, blockchain technology helps us trace the source of the reviews but the main thing here is hiring qualified reviewers, HELPERS, based on their qualification.
I agree that they are lack on transparency. if they keep hiding negative reviews then is useless. Blockchain is build for transparency, reliable and cability. I'm reviewing their whitepaper devs should update on this.

What could be the main purpose of Helpers? I mean are they are the one moderating the Lina.Review's website?

Helpers (a.k.a as Experts) main responsibility is to review products and services on the system. They also submit a certain number of reviews with acceptable quality every month. Another task of Helper is to vote for submitted user reviews

Agreed, on what you said dude. But the duties and responsibilities of a Helpers is not that easy as you can see. Because once they didn't meet the quality standard of their task on lina.review they can be demote by the Helper board in my opinion.
That's why helper should be accountable on their work. Being a helper isn't easy, it needs a lot of characteristics and principle in life. A helper must have discipline to herself and a helper knows the best! If they will not do their obligation, nothing will change in the review system.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO A2A tokens] STeX Exchange - ALL Coins, ONE PLATFORM : 10,000+ Crosses! on: March 30, 2018, 11:00:44 PM
In short, the STE token is the old token and changed by the A2A token? If then, is it possible that STE will devaluate soon?
Now I see that A2A token is really differ from STE token and I think this is the first ever project I've seen that used 2 different tokens during token sale.
I want also to clarify this.

STE and A2A are two tokens that compliment each other. STE was not renamed to A2A. They are different tokens for different purposes.
  • STE is a dividend token
  • A2A is a utility token (on the platform, like BNB)

So there is no devaluation of STE tokens, they coexist and serve different purposes.

Okay! Its better to understand the difference of the two coins because I want to assure that soon, my STE tokens have value.
Now, STeX runs two different coins in complement. So,  does the two coins have different token sale also? I hope STeX can manage it properly.

The fair review is depends upon the helpers. The obligation of the helpers are not easily. Essentially, if the helper will be accused of having a review, they will be removed from their service. Yet, it is good to be a helper but there are lots of procedure will undertake before a person will become a helper of lina.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lina.Review | Community-Driven Review Platform | TGE Event 15th Jan on: March 29, 2018, 11:53:04 PM
There are no statements in the wp regarding security of lina core other than there will be a security audit. This should be one of the top priorities for obvious reasons.

They mentioned Reputation management in their whitepaper meaning that their will be security in their core because they wanted their reputation to be clean and trusted in order for their project to work and be known by every internet user. Maybe their busy highlighting their project in different country that's why they are not here to answers all of the questions here. I still have high hopes for this project to shoot up.
My concern is actually that crypto currencies can be hacked. If lina is creating its own network for the tokens, they should take standard security measures.
I know that lina core is too hard to enter or access by a hacker. Yet we all knows that there is no imposible in the internet but lina team already made it more secured in order to have a difficulties in accessing their system.

Your concern has its basis, but I think that is one aspect that Lina.review team needs to address as well. Ideally blockchain technology can help trace the links of transactions. Unfortunately, it is not enough to prevent hacking. We can only look forward at Lina making its platform secured. I think there is a portion of payment allocated for Bug detection or similar findings in Lina.review. Good luck to us.
Good luck to the hackers. There is a chance that the possible attacks of the hackers will occur in the lina but as long as the lina core is secured and accessible only by few people, hackers can't enter its system otherwise there are inside job. But then, let see on how does lina will protect their clients and firms in possible hack.
Even the secured token and exchange can attack by the hackers. In my opinion, there is no impossible in the internet. Hackers can access lina core though it has the hardest system ever. There will be a time that the hackers will make an access for them to enter. Internet is different from reality. The impossible may become possible by the internet.
