Sentiment seems terrible today.  We are hovering around an all-time high, and a lot of people are acting as if we just had a crash, or that this is definitely the top....

so we have about 600% to go then until we get to the top:)

*imo*~we see a swifter move up than this joint here >>BTC heading to $1000+

Honest, I am.

No one ever said it was for withdrawing.

Well I'm sorry you believe we are lying.

There is no need to be sorry here, you are blatantly lying.

If that is what you choose to believe, so be it.

Even though I clearly explained everything.

Indeed, your clear explanation showed how easy you contradict yourself.

Can you tell me again how I contradicted myself? Thanks.

I'll address this in a few points:

1. We aren't spamming from what I understand. We made a new thread that was set to self-moderation so we could more deal with trolls.

2.
Quote
threads that seem to offer 0.005 BTC.
-- We are offering free bitcoin.

3.
Quote
will never be able to withdraw
-- Yes you can

4.

The rules are never clearly specified
-- Alright. You got us there. We will work on fixing this.

5.

they are just hoping that you visit their site.
-- In a way, yes. That's why we are running a giveaway...to promote our site.

6.

DO NOT contribute to this site in form of visits and deposits.
-- That's up to you. If you feel that we are not trustworthy, then you do not need to play here. Never give a site you don't trust your money.

I do apologize for it not being clearly specified. We are giving you a free .005 BTC to start with in your account so you can play with our site and give it a try before risking your own money. Honestly, what would be the point of just giving you Bitcoin? I love giving away bitcoins. I help run the reddit BitcoinTip bot. But we are a business. We are trying to promote our site and give users a chance to try us without risking anything but 5 minutes of their time.

I honestly do not understand how someone could even think we were just giving bitcoins "for lulz".

I will work with David on changing the promo pages so it is more clearly outlined. I'm sorry if we have hurt any of our users, and I am sorry if someone feels like we have cheated them or lied to them. That is not what we are doing or trying to do.

I am sorry. Honest, I am.

lets start with : WHO ARE YOU??!

The ice-dice guys keep spamming new threads that seem to offer 0.005 BTC.

The truth is that you will never be able to withdraw that as you have to wager 300 times that amount before being allowed to withdrawal. The rules are never clearly specified, they are just hoping that you visit their site. The latest topic is self-moderated, guess why ?

DO NOT contribute to this site in form of visits and deposits.

We are giving you free 0.005BTC. You guys are welcome to not to take our free coins and play with your own money. But if you play with our money, then we will have restrictions to keep fraudsters away.

2) The word you are looking for is "fiduciary". "Fiat" means "let it be" and thus means that someone is in control.

fiat
ˈfiːat,ˈfʌɪat/
noun
1.
a formal authorization or proposition; a decree.
"the reforms left most prices fixed by government fiat"

Fiat money has been defined variously as:
any money declared by a government to be legal tender.[1]
state-issued money which is neither convertible by law to any other thing, nor fixed in value in terms of any objective standard.[2]
money without intrinsic value.[3][4]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_money

Bitcoin has ZERO value, except what we all agree it is worth.  Just like USD.  In fact, given the fabric USD is printed on, it's fair to say USD is actually "worth" more.

HAVE YOU SEEN 4:20 MONEY?LOL =)

I mined some blocks in the 24192 - 26208 epoch.  The difficulty was 14202.  I miscalculated, and thought the block rate was 10 blocks / hour (6 min each) rather than 6 blocks / hour (10 min each) and as a result I mined a little too fast and the difficulty rose to 20975.

I have cut back the GH/s that I am sending to BTE.  For the past 24 hours, the mining rate has been about 2.5 blocks / hour.  This will cause the chain to stay relatively updated, and the difficulty should drop.  If anyone flash mines faster after 14 days, the difficulty will still drop.  A few people dropped in with huge hash rates and mined a few blocks during the past week, then left again.

I will try to strike a balance of gaining coins & keeping the difficulty low.

I would like to have software that will work with the cgminer API, perhaps in Python, and send lots of hashpower when there is a transaction to process, and then wait for a timeout to send more hashpower.

Overall sentiment is changing in a bearish direction, very quickly all over this forum.  From people expecting a crash from rising too fast, to Mike Hearns, Coin Validation, etc.  The writing is on the wall. All it takes is for a whale or two to want to be first to take some profits.  In times like these, in USD I trust.   Wink

do you think China gives a sh!t about what the USG is going to force businesses within the US to do?

No.

In time, there will be two BTC markets. The "Legal" market, which is the US-based market, and then the "Red" market... which is the Asia based market.

*fyi*~there is a "red road" market in The States too bud!  Wink

Anyone know of a Zetacoin Faucet or want to help me get started.

The quick confirmations of this coin really seem to make this a viable option if we can spread it around I think.

My Zetacoin wallet is ZUaRbBWmS1scKGThF4HADGjm6mtt4QQmZe if anyone fancies giving me a small donation.
