461  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: August 16, 2016, 10:33:33 AM
Aside from the Bitcoin that I'm buying here and there as an investment, I'm definitely spending my Bitcoin in one form or another. I guess if you count part of my exchanges into fiat as being a form of spending my Bitcoin anyways.

I might spend more in the future, but for now I'm a scrooge and I find it hard to spend money.

I think exchanging it is one form also. I do a lot of time and the one that is having profit out of it is the website wallet but  I dont regret it though. There is this thinking that it also helps for the movement of bitcoin.

Exactly bitcoin circulation is very important to take price higher and also to make bitcoin as a stronger currency so even I keep on selling my coins whenever I am in need of money.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 16, 2016, 10:29:57 AM
i think saving money is better than investment .

Yeah, but for how long will you save money? If you are going to save it for very long time, you can save it in bank, and that is investment as well.

Saving in a bank is not an investment. Bank savings does not earn anything but a percent per year that cannot even compensate inflation rate. If you want to grow your money, then choose investment. But choose an investment that is not safe and do not go for hyip or ponzi.

Investment that is not safe? No investment is safe but we need to choose something from where we can expect some returns which can give us good profits in future.
463  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: August 16, 2016, 10:19:01 AM
If i own 21 bitcoins, the half of 21 bitcoins, i will turn it into fiat and the rest i deposit all into gambling sites especially sports betting. I'm sure i can make it growth.

No one should be so confident of gambling as it is always a game of luck and even if you are expert in betting in sports or anything but once you become unlucky you are surely going to lose because it is a part of gambling at the end of the day.

Yes gambling is a sure and fast way to make money if you are lucky but if its your bad day and you bet a large amount then say goodbye to your hard earned coins. Gambling may be one of the ways to make your bitcoin stash grow but relying in luck is really not advisable since you can lose all you have earned in just one bet if you are confident that you can win but you lose it instead. Better invest it in trading where you have control of your coins and yes it is still risky but not as risky as gambling.

if it continues to expect on luck it is difficult to get good results. If gambling and trading risk equally. why you did not choose the trade which is better? the risk is always there. but if you are quite expert in trading, you can get great results.

Exactly, trading holds less risks in compare to gambling, with trading you can make good profits if you handle it smartly which is never possible with gambling.
464  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: August 16, 2016, 10:16:48 AM
That is definitely right. We are just all speculating. By speculating with the price of bitcoins, we are basing on current needs and uses of the btc to public and how investors are reacting to it. For me, as long as I enjoy the benifits of bitcoins in all of my transactions, I will hold to it as my sign of BIG suport for it to soar higher in the coming days or months.
I get how some people are speculating on the price increase since some large companies are eyeing to invest and adopt bitcoins into their services. But right now, I just hate the fact that the price is slipping yet again.

No doubt price  is going down at a moment but I think we should buy some more coins at this stage as price will be definitely higher in future allowing  us to make good profits.
465  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: August 16, 2016, 10:12:44 AM
There are more advantages of bitcoin transaction, it is fast, easy sending money to your family, we can pay our bills even we are at home, we can do online shopping any where we want and also i feel discounted every transaction i made because of the rebates given by my bitcoin wallet.

Yes sending money with bitcoins is a blessing for the users as it involves minimum fees and credits are instant and you can send it across the globe with a single click.
466  Economy / Speculation / Re: $705 in 11th july? on: August 15, 2016, 07:09:02 PM
I've sold half of my coins. I'm ready for any thing, if it goes up or goes down, I can deal with the situation.
Well, we need a bitcoin rise more than $ 70 now, but I am not sure it will happen in two days. bitcoin price probably will be $ 700 in this month, but I am not sure it will happen on the 11th of July to come. I am pretty sure it will happen at the end of the month of July, well but we better hope that it will happen.
The present bitcoin price is $660 this upsurge in Bitcoin price seems good and hope it will reach $700 within two days and within this month the price can reach $800.

That prediction was pretty good. I think the bitcoin price is quite stable at the moment, good for adoption.
the price is not stable because of bitfinex hack but it is always good enough for mass adoption, i think it would be really smart to buy your bitcoins right now before the price grows
if the price is noot stable then there is a great opportunity to buy ad sell for the traders in order to make some profit as it is soon going to recover

We are exactly in mid of August and we are not even to $600 level, so expecting $700 at a moment is simply waste of time as now it will take long time to touch that price.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: August 15, 2016, 07:06:57 PM
Let's say I am spending 250 USD to mine a coin of worth 330 USD, selling it immediately doesn't give me a big profit. If I am selling the same coin for 500 USD then thats a good strategy.
(amount spent on mining per coin in FIAT) : (Value of the coin)
when you get a good ratio convert the coin to FIAT.

This comment was so right at the time. I hope OP took that as a good advice. BTC is $580 now so it was definitely not the right time to sell when it was below $300.
That was not right to sell for sure and even today its not the right time to sell as price is not too high, hold your coins for few more months and then you will see all time high price of bitcoins.

It depends on your purpose with the bitcoin. If you want to trade the bitcoin, then you should sell when the price is high.

If you are trader then you should take advantage of each and every fluctuation that you come across, and that will help you in making quick profits as majority of traders are doing the same.

if the rate is up, then you can sell your coins that you have mining, don't think that you need the rate is not good. when its up, then its time to sell it and reach profit as much as you can with your coins. but for bitcoin, i will keep it for a while and i will sell it when the rate is up, but its not now.

Current price cannot be considered to be a high price as its fallen dramatically in last few days, so if you are looking to make good profits then better to hold them for next few more months.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: August 15, 2016, 07:04:21 PM
It's a good idea not to take a risk and just hold your bitcoins, becuase you will never lose your money if you are attentive enough, i believe on you Grin
with bitcoin if you hold it it is impossible to lose your money because in a longer run the bitcoin price is going to reach a new all time high

If you believe in holding it for a long term then you don't have to worry about your investments, as price will surely go higher in future which will help you in earning higher profits.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: August 15, 2016, 07:02:06 PM
If that is a temporary crisis then it is always good to buy bitcoins, but if the crisis is very serious that it might lose all your investment never ride with it unless you are a real gambler who just base your decision on your gut feel.

Right. Just like in the last price fall, the cause was about an exchange being hacked. It is not about the blockchain or bitcoin. But if the problem of the drop was about blockchain or bitcoin, then it is a different story. You should always study the causes of the rise and drop of prices especially if it is too fast.

The exchange of Bitfinex hack is a big news. It means people will not store money in the exchanges, so the trading there will be lower, so will the price.
and thats a really great thing in my opinion because people will not risk their bitcoins any more, dont worry about the price, it is going to recover in the near future

Its recovering but not with that pace that we are expecting, recovery is very slow and not sure what price it will show us in next coming days, so fingers are crossed and hoping to see higher price.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: August 15, 2016, 07:00:05 PM
Bitcoin is recovering from bitfinex issue, and those should end on this month, and the current price for sure is the whales forcing it to keep lower soo they can make easy income. Bitcoin will and must readjust its value till end the year.
thats true, there is no more panic selling at the moment, i hope that the price is going to bounce back to 700 after people will see that the hack was just temporary and it is solved now
Panic selling is still going on as price is going down so don't expect that people are buying at a moment as if that would be scenario then we would have crossed $600 by now.
471  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: August 15, 2016, 06:56:59 PM
i think bitcoin is very useful and popular because customers are using bitcoin.
thats true, bitcoin is that much popular just because it is used by a lot of people at the moment and in my opinion it is going to grow only in the future

Yeah we need to be positive about the future and price of bitcoin and it will surely go higher in future when we will see increase in the customer base of bitcoins.
472  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: August 15, 2016, 06:52:50 PM
Any year could be the year of bitcoin. It only depends mainly on what positive news would appear for people to hop on bitcoin. We only need a massive user base and not a ludicrous increase in price. I personally believe that prices will only come up together with a large user base.

Yeah and to have higher user base we need to recommend it to people around us as it will definitely contribute in increasing the market cap of the bitcoins.
473  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: August 15, 2016, 06:47:42 PM
Yes I am buying whenever I am satisfied with the price and the current price is really good to buy some extra coins and save it for future in order to gain higher profits.
474  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: August 15, 2016, 06:45:58 PM
40 % of total results from the poll show clearly many lost btc because of fault they did . i learn to be simple willing to get small profit so no chance to invest in shady project looming a big chance to multi 10 x profit .
thats true, thats why im holding all my bitcoins on a cold storage in order not to lose it by some kind of a mistake, i hope i will never lose it

If you will never invest in any ponzi sites then you don't have to worry about your coins as it will be really safe in your wallet and no one can touch your coins.
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: August 15, 2016, 06:43:18 PM
The estimation is calculated by the amount of transactions being done. We cannot know a certain accurate number, but we can know that its only going up.

Exactly its going up for sure and its really hard to find the actual number of users as it is a decentralized currency and there is no official record to come to any conclusion.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: August 13, 2016, 05:09:28 PM
The risky and fastest way is trading and gambling, but the safety way, i think investment is good. But remember, there is no 100% safe on all investment. Be wise to your money.

Which investments are you talking about? I really don't find any investment platforms these days for investing my money into it feeling safe doing it, because a lot of such websites and platforms have scammed a lot of people already so it is really not good to believe any of them now.

Yeah and if you want to invest your money then its better to invest in real life investments like gold or real estate where there is no chance of getting scammed.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 13, 2016, 05:07:43 PM
Hello, I think I would if I was to invest electronic equipment such as mobile and computer parts nowadays more common in the market for Android mobile which can profit

The success rate of a business depends on the people of a certain place, before starting any business you must find out what is more commonly used in your place and then you should see if there aren't already a lot of people doing the same business and then you should go for it, now you wont get any success in a business that is already running in a large number in your place.

Yes its always good to have a monopolist business to earn higher profits from it as if you have monopoly then you will  not face any competition and you will be a market leader in your area.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: August 13, 2016, 05:05:19 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
Dont just wait for bitcoin to go up, go work and find more stable income , bitcoin is a good opportunity to us but we're in the real world and there is no easy money we can get, even bitcoin if you don't work to have it, you will not br going to be rich need more time and patience with skill to earn decent amount in bitcoin.

yeah true work your ass to meet your goal.  Working is one way to get bitcoin, either regular daily job or  bitcoin related jobs.  they both will assure you that you will earn or can buy bitcoin.  You should participate in bitcoin promotion too.  It is every bitcoin individual responsibility if you want your holding to get high.  Don't just wait around for bitcoin to increase price.

If you want to get rich with bitcoin then you need to start putting efforts to collect as much as you can as even if price doesn't reach to the top you can still become rich if you have high volume of coins.
479  Economy / Speculation / Re: Testing 600 again on: August 11, 2016, 02:36:03 PM
We may see price above 700$ again and only up from there. Market support is huge even 60 million USD worth of hacked bitcoin can be digested by the buy support i think.
i hope that you are right, the price should grow at a really rapid pace pretty soon, that would be really cool as it would make me nice money easily

$700 will not be easy to achieve, it will surely take some more time to touch that price, if it touches $650 in next week then we can expect $700 in next month.
480  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: August 11, 2016, 02:34:07 PM
I will prefer to invest in both of them to minimize my risk and I am sure either of one will perform well in future which will help me in getting best returns on my investments.
