Yes unfortunately i lost a lot due to some fuckhead scammers, I am now very suspicious of scams.

Yeah majority of users have been scammed by some person or got scammed by investing in any ponzi sites so now I have decided to stay away from those sites.

I don't scamming site is the main problem for loosing bitcoins,  i think there are allot of people who lost allot of bitcoins and that is because when you lose your password for a wallet or something...

If that is the case then its an worst way to loose bitcoins, I mean how can be someone so careless that he cannot take care of his own money, I have never lost my coins in that manner.

40 % of total results from the poll show clearly many lost btc because of fault they did . i learn to be simple willing to get small profit so no chance to invest in shady project looming a big chance to multi 10 x profit .

Let me share my experience. I was scammed for 2 times when I was a newbie. The first time I was try to buy bitcoin from a guy with high reputation, but unfortunately he turned out to be a real scammer, took all my money and ran away in my second deal through yahoo chat. And the second time was when I exchanged bitcoin to libertyreserve , the system got closed without paying anything.

I have lost quite an amount but little compared to what others have lost but its completely no one fault because its through gambling too so I know what I am entering into and I bet what I can afford to lose. Although painful but I have moved pass that though...

Whoa! That is a really big loss according to the current value of bitcoin or even according to the value of bitcoin in 2014.
I think anyone looking to invest such a big amount should check every single thing of a site before investing, its background, history, records etc, because that will make you safe from getting scammed most of the times.

It was a very awful experience,  I invested over 0.1 btc in ab online cloud mining site named minute btc but when it was time to collect my money they vanished into tin air 

i personally lost bitcoin for so many time but only in gambling, but now i have changed my whole strategy about bitcoin  and gambling, now i am online investing my pocket money in gambling, and play gambling up to that limit and i dont count it in my lost money because it is my pocket money and i am free to use it any where either on food, traveling or in gambling or clubing etc,

Depending on how you look at it, gambling should only be used as entertainment and nothing more, as you are simply trying to beat the house edge- it's what gambling is. Investing is risky, but it also yields a fair bit of profit, which I am doing now.

I think even if you're saying that the goal of gamble should be to have fun I think it is hypocritical thing I think almost 95% of the gambling players aim to win and could have doubled their bitcoin from gambling. they know that gambling is a shortcut to get rich. so long as they do gambling then they will always be close to lost

Nor have I been hacked so far and even if I do , I will lost only a few of my coins cause I keep them spread in different wallets. 25 BTC , you're joking right? . If you keep it in your wallet you can huge interest with bitcoin . But why you invested on shit mining.?

Yeah many users have lost their coins on ponzi sites and got scammed, but I have never experienced the same as I never prefer to invest in those sites, the only way I have lost some coins was in gambling.

I'm glad to say that I'm one of the 5% that you are talking about. I usually just gamble for fun and always bet the lowest possible so I could play as many games as I possibly can with the alotted amount that I set to lose.

Gambling is just a game for me, except that you're only playing everytime and the winnings (if ever) are just bonuses aside from the fun you get from it.

That is impossible that you are no experience of any lost in gambling..  because many people are experience of losing.. thats why i am not gamble for a long time period in the game.. and i agree about ponzi beware  about that i lose a lot before in ponzi site..

Over a year ago, when cloud mining was still popping here and there in the services announcement sections, I was enticed to join a cloudmining site known as PBmining. I gladly deposited 0.05 there because the terms said that they will continue to give me profits for five straight years and will continue to optimize their gears so that they will always mine for profits. Turns out, it was a freaking scam. >.<

thats true, thats why im holding all my bitcoins on a cold storage in order not to lose it by some kind of a mistake, i hope i will never lose it

If you will never invest in any ponzi sites then you don't have to worry about your coins as it will be really safe in your wallet and no one can touch your coins.

it is better not to have any deals with strangers online because you might lose a lot of money really easy, i lost bitcoins only on gambling
