Come on INABA (BFL JOSH), EXPLAIN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT ARE STILL WAITING FOR THERE DEVICES HOW THEY WILL GET ROI OR EVEN SEE THERE PRODUCT?

Well, I'm very reluctant to try and be fair to Josh for obvious reasons, BUT neither Josh nor anyone else at BFL has ever promised anyone they'll break even. So at least in that regards he's not a liar and customers have only themselves to blame for buying from a gaggle of hacks and quacks that have never even seen a chip produced before trying to engineer (and I use that term loosely) an ASIC.

Oh so the advertising that said it will be ready in Oct/Nov of 2012 was my stupidity right?

Absolutely. People have been very vocally shouting warnings in the Hardware forum and later Custom Hardware forum ever since the FPGA days before an ASIC was even announced. They were invariably met with derision by True Believers exactly like during the pirate fiasco.

You using tor? Probably using tor.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please take this $16,600,522 before the government gets it... on: October 14, 2013, 07:45:47 PM
I'll get right on to that.

EDIT: The password is "swordfish"
464  Economy / Services / Re: I Need a Middle Man on: October 14, 2013, 04:15:43 PM
Yea...I'm backing out. Sorry

Oh damn. Yeah, I didn't even know that. I wasn't trying to buy illegal things. I am really trying to do research.

I didn't know any cannabinoids had been scheduled except the JWH series.

Sorry.

No worries. There's a HUGE problem on the net with e-stores marketing designer drugs (both narcotics and steroids), sports supplements and new phytopharmaceuticals where the store claims the substance is legal while it actually isn't in the country they are marketing towards. The tricks is usually that the substance is legal where the store is registered. The customer who doesn't really know any better is then the one that gets the shock of his life when customs or a DEA equivalent approach him. It's pretty sneaky.
465  Other / Meta / Re: Security bounties on: October 14, 2013, 02:09:12 PM
Prior to the attack, the forum spent 40 BTC on password hashing improvements which significantly mitigated the damage of this attack.

Can you restate this in ounces of gold please? I would like to know how much this was in a stable carrier of value.
466  Economy / Lending / Re: need loan 2 pay for sex change on: October 14, 2013, 01:57:17 PM
Well, you can't even spell anonymous correctly. And you said you need 0.003 BTC and you'll return 3? So you will pay 1000% back? Very unlikely.

What do you mean? This is the Bitcoin economy. It should not be a problem to make 1000% profit in a day.
467  Economy / Lending / Re: need loan 2 pay for sex change on: October 14, 2013, 01:04:19 PM
need 2 borrow 0.003btc for sex change

I'll do it, but I need you to get the largest cock possible and then some.

It's for a project. I can't tell you the specifics because people would steal my idea, but trust me, that thing is going to be huge. The project. And the cock. Both.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unbelievable Idiot! on: October 14, 2013, 11:54:36 AM
Why don't you stick to the real topic - the guy hasn't got a clue about money.

Which is why he's been called the "guru of Wall Street gurus". Good thing we have noted Jägerbomb addict and bitcointalk forums user 152724 aka "Hammerfist" here to tell us all the truth.
469  Economy / Scam Accusations / Preliminary scam warning re: simple-dice and coinvault.pw on: October 14, 2013, 11:31:39 AM
Note: a scam has not happened yet. This thread instead serves as a preliminary warning.

User simple-dice runs a webwallet coinvault.pw https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=307992.0 of course touted as "the most secure btc web-wallet".

The same user is asking for a 2.3 BTC loan https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=310359.0

In the loan request as collateral he offers access to the web-wallet server to the lending party

Loan request quoted in it's entirety below to preserve evidence (quoted on 14 Oct 2013 at 13:24 CEST)

Purchased 2.5 BTC via Coinbase two (2) days ago.

I'm impatient and willing to pay 0.2 BTC to get the BTC instantly via a lend and will payback 2.5 BTC when it arrives on the 17th.

I will provide proof that I purchased via Coinbase on Skype screenshare or Teamviewer and will provide almost any collateral requested.

I run a new bitcoin web-wallet and can provide access to the server as collateral until the lend is paid off.

Thanks.

Entrusting the server and the contained customer and wallet data to a third party is of course a security and trust violation of the highest order.

All customers of coinvault.pw and other other projects of simple-dice are adviced to pull out any funds now for their own security.

Currently known simple-dice projects:
- inputs.io PHP Warpper
- coinvault.pw
- several gambling sites were provided scripts by simple-dice, names are not known at this time, please list below if you know. Buyers are adviced to check and/or remove scripts from their sites.

475  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Piper Paper Wallet - Why are there no replies??? on: October 14, 2013, 07:44:08 AM
We'd like to use something like paper to print wallets for Justcoin, but need durability (> 10 years)
Use acid-free, archive-save paper conforrming to ISO standard ISO 9706 and an electrostatic printing process (for instance laser printing). Do NOT use a colour printer, use a B/W only printer. Do NOT use refurbished or value toner cartridges (you never know what crap they put in there). Keep in a darkened environment. For archiving purposes lasting up to several hundred years use archival quality paper conforrming to ISO standard 11108.
What are your thoughts on laminating as a way to preserve a printed paper?

It would highly depend on your specific purpose. For keeping your own records it is a certainly a valid method, especially the newer cold lamination methods. For papers of scientific historic value lamination is no longer recommended. A huge amount of historic papers was laminated with varying methods starting in the 1930s and it's been shown that the effects of certain lamination methods have a higher degrading effect on the paper than if the paper had simply been stored in a controlled environment (controlled for light, humidity, temperature).

Naturally you won't want to use hot lamination methods on simple direct thermal paper like the piper uses.

Damn, I just found out that that website doesn't ship to the US, which is stupid because it is legal in the US and they have pricings in USD.

I'm finding another site, this has nothing to do with the chem, it is the sites policy I just read.

That's because it hasn't been legal in the US since April

You should try eating more often. It helps with keeping body and mind in better condition. Also the emaciated look is so 1990s. Life is too short to be skinny.

It's not a choice, I don't have real world money. Basically the only money I get is Devcoins.

There actually is a choice if you're willing to rework part of your lifestyle. Though a different drug, when I was still an alcoholic, I was unemployable, rail thin and unhealthy due to not eating and constantly in major debt. All of that was solved by excluding the drug from my life.

479  Economy / Goods / Re: looking to sell rap lyrics for bitcoin on: October 14, 2013, 01:40:58 AM
Can you write a rap about the proper use of punctuation, capitalization and spelling?

The hook should go something like "English, motherfucker, do you speak it?"
How much for a diss track on greyhawk?

This has never ended well for a contender yet
their attempts to battle rap only lead to regret
their rhymes lacked flow and now they'd rather forget
how they got beaten by a German in this crazy duet.
